Late Night Double Feature: Die, You Zombie Crackers! & America's Next Dead Model

Rate this book
A double bill of two novellas from the demented minds of Cannibal Fat Camp ! Grab your popcorn, settle in, and get ready to enjoy the show.

The deep, dark woods. They can be scary as hell, especially for the folk that live and love in 'em. Making moonshine and selling moonshine and drinking moonshine are all anyone ever cared about... until it happened. Even in the backwoods, the yokels weren't safe from the undead. The dead came back to life, bad 'shine being the cause, and it's up to a small band of hillbillies to stop a new kind of zombie from killing everybody. Three rednecks stand between a horde of un-living rubes and the rest of the world. Only they were brave enough to DIE, YOU ZOMBIE CRACKERS!

The tropical paradise is a perfect place for sleazy promoter Randy Miller to stage a photo shoot featuring his gaggle of young supermodels-in-training. Chief among them is Monique, a beauty that Randy is betting on to make their newest calendar fly off the shelves. What Randy, Monique, and the rest of them didn't count on was a mad killer stalking the sands and making it run red... with either blood or sangria, no one is too sure. Can this group of men and women with, quite possibly, the loosest morals in all of recorded history survive? Their fifteen minutes are up! See who will become America's Next Dead Model .

Ok, I've read/DNFed a couple stinkers since reading this title so I'm almost looking at with with the same kind of look one of the characters in the first story looked at his love sheep (with that in mind, read at your own risk).

The first story was a zombie adjacent horror-comedy that's squarely in the EH niche in its excess and absurdity, I had a pretty good time with it.

The second was a more classic 70s cannibal movies type of deal complete with the movie shoot but without actual cannibals, it was solid enough but not something I was all that interested in.

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ found a new favorite author. Two short stories but the stories are completely fleshed out in way that has me wanting sequels. Has me wanting more to continue the stories
