What do the following have in common?

A teenaged smuggler of Mayan artifacts, a Nazi Admiral fleeing Germany at the end of World War II, stolen gold, a lost submarine, a beautiful woman seeking revenge, a corrupt United States Senator, a Neo Nazi terrorist publisher, a Voodoo priestess, and a modern-day pirate.

The answer is Lizard Key!

Fate or destiny will bring these people and elements together where they all cross paths at Lizard Key… a mysterious island, owned by a modern-day pirate, where you don’t arrive uninvited. A blend of historical facts, island legends and fiction come together in a story of modern-day pirates and smugglers operating in the Caribbean.

During the golden age of piracy, the Caribbean spawned legendary pirates like Blackbeard, William Kidd, Henry Avery and Black Bart Roberts. Today we look to the islands of the Caribbean as sanctuaries from the stresses of the modern world. Warm weather, white sandy beaches, light breezes and tropical drinks are just a few of the enticements. We go there to capture some of the romance and adventure the islands hold. The perfect days can blend into one continuous moment.

Things done in the past may catch up with you or be completely forgotten. Sometimes it’s just a matter of luck… the right or wrong place at the right or wrong time. As the song says ‘in the tropics they come, and they go’… but if you’re lucky you leave a little something behind and take a little something with you.

Welcome to Lizard Key!
