Jane & Scott Kona Island by Zoe Adams

I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.

Zoe Adams is an audacious author exploring the layered ups and downs of love. A passionate writer, she draws her inspiration from a variety of sources. Her admiration
for romance books, her understanding of human character, and her observing eye for
exciting scenarios are a few of them. But above all, her greatest writing gift is her bold,
unapologetic love for love itself.

“Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.”

Jane has coordinated a bachelorette party, despite not wanting to. She is annoyed with the bride and her friends and longs for peace. Scott is recovering from a surfing injury and wants to return to the water- but his fears are holding him back.

This was very sweet. I enjoyed the instant connection, and supportive dynamic Jane and Scott had. The escalation was intense, but the way the prices fit was delightful.

I liked these characters and how they reacted to each other. Sometimes your soulmate is just a simple glass away.

Jane and Scott is the third book in the Kona Island Series which features Jane, a wedding event planner who agrees to plan a Bachelorette party for bridezilla Brittany who she only knew through her best friend, Danya, and Scott, a surfer who won a number of international competitions until a wave left him injured and afraid to return to the ocean. Three years later Scott returns to Kona Island to face his fear and finds Jane on the beach after leaving the out of control Bachelorette party. They are instantly drawn to one another. This is another great romance associated with this series.

Wow!
Having no idea what book was about before opening, can honestly say it was GREAT!
Though book was short, author gave all of the pertinent info and more before ending in appropriate way.
Paolo is an Italian businessman who is in the tropics on business.
When he sees Eleanor everything changes.
Eleanor is a newly retired professor in feminist literature. Having planned a vacation in the tropics with her friend who bails last minute, she decides to go alone.
When Eleanor meets Paolo her confidence soars.
Read to find out if mixing business with pleasure might not be a bad idea.

Thanks to Booksprout and the author for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
I am enjoying the development of each romance in this series. Jane is responsible for organising and running the bachelorette party for Brittany and the group are keeping her busy with complaints. Scott has arrived at the resort in an attempt to face his demon, the sea. This book is shorter than the others so far, but is full of how love has hit them out of the blue! Another terrific, steamy read!

The road to romance is sometimes filled with complications and self-doubt. The characters are interesting to follow as they try to figure out themselves so that they can move forward. Love the location and the secondary characters in the story. Good read.
