32 books84 followersI grew up in the Home Counties of Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. I always felt I wanted to be somewhere else and dreamed of sunny beaches and shady woods. I imagined a move abroad would be the answer but when I visited Pembrokeshire to visit my then fiance's family, I succumbed to the 'Pembrokeshire Pull' and have lived in the National Park ever since.
I have always wanted to be a writer and flirted with the idea, buying a word processor and beginning a number of manuscripts, with very little idea how to actually write a book. When I turned forty something polarised within me, or I just stumbled upon the right advice, and I found the whole thing immensely enjoyable. In fact, I would say I'm only truly happy when I'm writing (I have just completed my fourth book since beginning writing mid-way through 2013!)
Prior to writing I was a dreaded double glazing salesman. I ended up running my own conservatory design and build company for a number of years before the ill-health of a family member meant moving away from the industry.
Opportunities can be found in adversity. It began with studying Welsh language and then Psychology. Then I found my confidence in my own life experiences to know I had plenty to give as an author. I am now able to focus on my writing where the long working hours of my past life never would have allowed.
I live and write in South-West Wales, with my wife, four children and dog!

Short and sweet!
An ordinary family man, from an ordinary town and with ordinary neighbours has a secret gift - he's (possibly) psychic! His "gift" has saved him and other people from possible disaster on numerous occasions. Is his psychic gift real or just a series of coincidences? Can he really see into the future or is it just life's game of chance he is experiencing? This is not a supernatural story as such, just a short tale about life choices and how they can impact upon your nearest and dearest. There's a moral to this tale, something quite different for each reader to consider. Not what I was expecting but quite good nonetheless.

This story is about a guy called Anthony who, one day at a theme park, bottles out of going on a rollercoaster due to extreme nausea and other symptoms. Only moments later, the rollercoaster crashes.
I hear you think he was just scared of going on the ride at that moment in time, or is he very intuitive of reading situations and people who wouldn't necessarily see it or feel it. Is Anthony psychic or not? You'll have to read it to find out!!
I felt that this book has a moral to tell me, which each individual person who reads the book will interpret it differently. My interpretation was that in life, it's okay to be scared of doing new things in life. But it shouldn't stop you trying, though!! Also, you should make the most out of each day as you just don't know what is round that corner, live it the best you can!!
I have read all of these author's books and loved them all, including this book, too. Go on, give this author a try. You won't be disappointed. I did many years ago. His addictive style of writing is brill. Eagerly awaiting next book roll on!!!

Okay, it’s no secret how much I enjoy this author’s work, but come on!
You end up willing this to be true, even though there is no such thing as prescience, clairvoyancey, psychic ability…. Or is there? There are many, many, documented instances and I (Grey Witch Extraordinaire) believe!!
Absolutely loved this tale from Wales. Another stonker by this fabulous author. Check out his other works, they’re fabulous too!

A short and sweet book, this novella is less a paranormal book and more a story about coincidence and instinct. Even the main character is unconvinced about the supernatural! But it is an exciting read with some really intriguing moments and scenes that can’t be explained. I loved the characters and how everything tied together, it was very well done (especially in a shorter book like this!)
