Reeling in the Alien #1

Baiting the Alien

Rate this book
Iechon, the vacation destroyer and human kidnapper.
My vacation on a nice beach is put on hold when someone steals my cooler with my beer. Little do I know that chasing after this thief will lead me straight into the clutches of hulky green aliens with pointy ears. Aliens don't exist...or do they?

Iechon, their leader, claims that I'm his mate and I must stay with him. Such stupidity.

His delicious muscles and smoldering stare make him hard to resist, but I'm not supposed to feel anything for him. Will I succumb to his seductive ways or find a way back to Earth before it's too late?

Baiting the Alien is the first book in the Reeling in the Alien series. A sweet, steamy, first-contact sci-fi alien romance that is hot enough to bring summer home. Each book can be read standalone, but more fun to read from the beginning to the end.

Wow

This book completely tore my mind asunder with terrible writing. The characters changed their minds for no reason at the drop of a hat. There was a lot of tell versus show. I can't explain how it frustrated me to try and read this.

I didn’t like it. He’s an asshole, she’s annoying, and they have absolutely no chemistry. There’s also no world building. Nothing is described, except for a couple details that have no importance, and the dialogue is awful. It’s either cringe or unnatural. Not to mention the way these characters changed their minds like changing cllothes. Probably more often.

This was a quick and a fun read and the main characters had me lol. Zoe is an EMT and is on vacation and is now relaxing on the beach when there is a disturbance in the water and when she turns around someone is stealing her cooler with her beer and she gives chase and the next thing was when she wakes up with a huge sexy green alien standing over her telling her she is his fated mate. Captain Lechon was on Earth to get food supplies when flying over the beach he see’s his fated mate there and orders his men to kidnap her at once. Now she is with him and wakes up and doesn’t believe in aliens but that doesn’t last long and soon they are steamy up the sheets together. And the ending was very fitting. Great read.

I loved this book. Iechon is taking the long way home with his crew and stops off on Earth to get some local food when he spots Zoe sunbathing on the beach. On his orders his men bring her on board and he tells her she is his mate. This is highly entertaining as Iechon tries to understand why Zoe doesn't get that she is his mate. Zoe thinks he is dressed up for Halloween. I would love to read about Onner the second in command as he watches human films and seems to understand why Zoe is a bit slow to become Iechon's mate. I highly recommend this book.

Beer and a Beach

Kidnapped by an alien Captain while enjoying a beer on the beach, Zoe refuses to believe he is an alien. Eichon is fascinated by Zoe as soon as he sees her. She is his mate and he must have her. But the crazy human doesn’t think he’s a real alien. I found the book to be funny and entertaining with a lot of steamy scenes. And I thought it was adorable the way it started and ended with beer and a beach.

Baiting The Alien

Zoe, a paramedic who works very hard at her job, is finally laying on the beach having a vacation. She. She is captured, at the behest of Iechon. Iechon is an Alien who with his team has come through a portal to earth to purchase original earth food. He spies Zoe and realises that she is special so orders his men to kidnap her and bring her safely to him. A very sexy and emotionally brutal story.

Do not recommend. The writing was horrible, making the characters very shallow and just plain stupid. The grammar was what really needed help. There were different verb tenses in the same sentence all the time. This made me wonder if English is the author's second language. The stars are for the humor, though I'm not sure all of it was intentional. I had some other books by the author lined up, but I won't be reading them.

Really FUN 😁

This was a bit different, but certainly worth reading 😃. Different action, uncertain emotions, nasty happenings and all sorts of interesting characters 😉. Thanks Alina, I truly enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading more 🤓.

Good alien book

This was a good romance. Fun to read. Good characters. The space station could have had a bit more depth but fun to read
