Rate this book
Octavia "Tae" Croft called it quits with Daniel Elliott three years ago after he asked her to marry him. She didn't believe they were right for each other. Daniel wanted to start a family, and Tae wanted to focus on her career. In fact, Tae wasn't sure if she ever wanted to have children. Still in love with Daniel, Tae built a friendship with him, so when he called to tell her he was getting married, Tae decided to accept the invitation. When Tae makes the mistake of telling Daniel what she thinks of his fiancee, he accuses her of jealousy and trying to destroy his relationship. Hurt and confused, Tae confides in Jaxon Hart, Daniel's best man, a friend she's known for years. A moment of weakness in Jax's hotel room leads to unexpected consequences, and Tae is pregnant with Jax's baby. Now Tae has more to deal with than whether she wants to keep the baby. Jax thinks the baby is Daniel's but is determined to be by her side anyway. Daniel knows the baby is Jax's but keeps her secret.

This book was a mess Tae was playing too much with the guys. All the problems in this book was caused by her. She played them against each other for no reason at all. Daniel made me not like him from the jump with his wife because he let her treat Tae bad without saying anything. Daniel still held a torch for Tae and the way he acted when he found out she was pregnant was too much for me. Tae did Jax wrong when she found out about the baby and for her to lead Daniel to believe he would be the daddy even though he wasn't pissed me off. All of the problems could've been avoided if she would've just moved on. Daniel was all types of wrong trying to move in on Jax's baby even knowing the truth. The only thing that seemed rushed was the turn around Jax had coming around Tae wanting to take care of her without knowing that was his baby. Tae just wanted someone to love her and show her affection and she used it until she couldn't anymore.

I felt bad for Daniel. He loved Tar so much and she just didn't love him the way he needed her to.I think he was a genuinely gentle, good guy. The kind that deserves a good woman. And like the cliché the good guy finished last.
Tae. she got on my nerves not telling Jax. like she was just being selfish. deep down inside she liked having both of them.
I liked Zerita. I wanna see her story. she's a real chick. and calls it like she sees it.

Suspend belief and this is a good read

Your -ex calls and invites you to his wedding where he makes it very obvious he wants you back and you are okay with this. The best man has had the host for you for three years but only acts on it now. The -ex marries and then runs around trying to sleep with you.
The romance is interesting and Jax is a great guy, but you have to wonder if these people weren't on JerrySpringer.

What a fantastic read! This story is a must for anyone liking romance, you don't even have to prefer IR to have it drag you in and hold you captive. Is it any wonder I will always look to Tressie Lockwood above all others?

This is an ok quick read. The main character made some stupid selfish choices that made her easy not to like. I could rationalize some of her choices but not all of them which took away from the story.

4 stars. Once again Ms. Lockwood, hit it on the nose with this great story. I Love Love Tea attitude, truly my girl. But then she was getting on my nerve not telling. Still Bravo to the author.

It was nice, but a little drawn out, with Tae dragging along the process to long with whom she wanted to be with

This was cute "quick read", It started it off very juicy and got a little slow in the middle and a bit "meh" at the end. I really liked both Jax and Daniel. Tae was kind of relatable.

It was an okay story not one of my favorites A lot of things were left unsaid between the love triangle that took place.
