Fantasy is not my typical genre but over the year I have read more and more of it. I never realized just how much that I would fall in love. I was always the reader of the typical sappy love romance gone wrong then gone good. This book is a fantasy that has a lot in the storyline dealing with good and evil. The fight between the two is always interesting from different author perspectives. Two scientists have embarked on a project in order to measure and then change the qualities of different crystals. Of course I was thinking that this was an interesting concept from the start. They are then taken to different levels of existence to help with the battle between good and evil that I just mentioned. Ohhh the suspense. I loved that the author was very descriptive in the scenes to let the reader see in their head exactly where the characters were and what they were up to. Sometimes in fantasy books like this, it is a turn off to try and piece the world together that the author is writing about in your own head. This author left you with none of the guessing and games, and I truly appreciated that. This story is one that I would read again just to get a different perspective the next time around. I recommend it to anyone that wants a piece of the fantasy world without having to work too hard to put the world together in your head while reading.

The book is a fantasy book that melds many different mythos with a storyline of the ultimate good versus evil. Two scientists start a project in measuring and changing the vibrational qualities of different crystals. From there, they are transported to different vibrational levels of existence to help with the battle between good and evil. The author writes rather well, descriptively enough for my to have pictured the different scenes and storyline.
The biggest problem that I feel the book has is that there are so many myths and different belief systems that are melded into this one book, it detracts from the storyline rather than enhancing it. From crystal magick to Thoth to angels to Apollo, it was just so mashed up together that instead of making a beautiful beef stew, it seemed to make a tasteless mush. I couldn't put my head into one mythos and just stay there.
Ultimately, this could be a great story, it just needs less individual ingredients.

Usually I’m not a big fan of reading, but when I first checked this book, and bought it, I said to myself it will be like all the others book that I bought and left it in my library. Few days later after, I was checking the first chapter and I read the first few words, it attracts my attention and I continued reading with a mystery passion. In six days I finished the book. It was the first book that I read in my life, and it was the best one, I think. I totally RECOMMEND this book, because the story is original. From the first word till the last one, I didn’t even felt that I’m bored or I wasn’t interested or even that I didn’t understand the situation. I enjoyed every single word. DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY…!!!

Leviathan, a book that takes on a wide range of myths and beliefs in a monster of a storyline, is Charbel Tadros' first book in the War of the Heavens series.

Descriptive writing and and a suspensful storyline kept me glued to this tale of fantasy. While playing with a typical good versus evil scenerio, the story and characters are anything but average. Some sections were a little bogged down with all the theology and mythology involved, but I appreciated the perspective the athor presented.

Not your average fantasy story and this is just the begining of the series. Hold onto your Kindles, there is much more to look forward to from author Charbel Tardros.

Two Scientists Nigel and his friend Vicky, she convince him to work with crystals, looking at the differences and vibrations of them, when suddenly... BAM! ... each is in a different time. each of them fight a battle between good and evil. You will find yourself in several Myth's. magick and much more. although the characters and writing is good, it is a bit much sometimes. Nevertheless a good book, I look forwards to read more from Mr Tadros.

It took me a very very long of time to read it, not because I'm a slow reader, because at times I just stopped reading for a week and wondered about life. It's weird to get a book, a stack of papers, to make you think more than actual human beings talking to you. Charbel Tadros is a very talented writer, I'll always be waiting and checking for more. KEEP IT GOING!!

The book was pretty good. I liked how the book kept moving so you did not lose interest. Some parts were a little repetitive. The story is similar to the bible story where the earth is raptured and only the believers survive. This time they have to fight demons and other baddies to make sure that the ones who are left behind can help rebuild.

I received a free copy of this novel in exchange of an honest review. Vicky and Nigel are two scientists experimenting on various crystals and the energy that they emit. Little did they know that their experiments would send them on an adventure of a lifetime.

This was a pretty interesting take on the end of the world. My only real issues with the story was that there were a huge hodgepodge of mythological gods, mixed with religion and fantasy characters. It was just a bit too much. I think if the story was rewritten to stick to one specific thing, instead of religion, crystals, and mythology, it would have been a much easier and enjoyable read.
