Started this one the other night before my flight back home then finished the rest of it between naps on my flight today. I actually didn’t know a lot of the plot points (since I haven’t played the answer dlc yet) and was sooo shocked to find everything out omg, almost started crying on the plane over my dumb video game manga. Anyways akihiko and shinjiro are boyfriends.

The 5th volume mostly focuses on Junpei and Chidori as well as Ken and Shinjiro. There were moments in the game that were not reflected, but overall, it tells the story well. The art is true to the games and there are some scenes that were not in the game. Additionally, the dialogue gives the intended feeling of sadness and pain that the characters are experiencing.

going over the whole october 4 plot without formally introducing aigis is a little bit insane i can't lie. but the art in this volume has been my favorite so far! i also loved the detail about ken's mom also being a persona wielder in the same boat as shinji & strega where it rampaged against her ... it makes what happened to her & to ken so much more bitter and terrible and i love it

Of course I decided to continue since this is the last one of what I currently own, and I will say, the ending of this volume was so phenomenal. It was really amazing how beautifully illustrated it was. Really hoping to continue soon.
