Seduced the Flame is the third book in the Cinder Mated series by Ella Drake. This book is part of a series, it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel however, their are several characters from the past book in this book. I chose this book because I have not read this author before and I enjoy paranormal novels.
Ray is a fire mage with the Cinder Task Force. Clarissa is a water mage that works for Cinder Task Force. While she is attracted to Ray, he wants nothing to do with her. They are partners at work and that’s all he wants it to be. Its apparent to everyone around them that they are mates but Ray wants nothing to do with it.
The chemistry between Ray and Clarissa is blistering. They are opposites is their abilities but they get along and do very well together. I am still puzzled why Ray fought his attraction to Clarissa as hard as he did. The sex scenes were blistering.
This book was very well written. The plot had a very fast pace that kept on my toes all the way though wondering what will happen next. While the ending was somewhat predictable it was enjoyable to see how the book ended. The main character and the secondary characters were interesting. I will be picking up the rest of the books in the series. This was a great book.

The third novella in the Cinder Mated series is an erotic firestorm of a paranormal romance. This fascinating paranormal world of mages has some intriguing elements that make it unique and refreshing and with the charismatic characters that leave the reader wanting to know more, the reader can’t help but get caught in the stories’ grip. So far I really enjoyed these short and erotic novellas, I only wish they were a little longer as I really didn’t want the stories to end.
