I was looking forward to Ben's story after the last book but this was sort of .... Annoying?
Georgia was so stuck in the past, and Ben "leaving" that the plot was an endless cycle of sex and her running ... Over and over. There was even so much over the top sex scenes that I found myself skimming to get to the root of the problem.
And why ... WHY did neither of them try to use a cell phone 8 years ago?!? It was written like as if this was 30 Yeats ago and her living on a cruise ship means he has no way to contact her. She would have had a cell phone! Email! Something.
Same with him. Her claiming he left with no note ... So CALL HIM!! HE WENT TO MEDICAL SCHOOL NOT THE MOON.
Of course, all this would make it too easy and no secret baby but it just felt silly.
I had to DNF this because Georgia was just so annoying and unlikeable. She whined and cried about everything. I did like Ben, he apologized for leaving.. but honestly, Georgia had no right to be mad in my opinion. If she really wanted to find him, she could’ve, but she didn’t.
The female lead is pain the ass who I didn’t like at all but she was more than willing to try and solve her trouble with her guy with sex. She was basically selfish putting what she wanted over what was best for her kid. You can’t raise a child on a cruise ship. The guy was too accommodating and her kid was fine
Did not like Georgia Lane at all. Ben deserved better than that flakey hooch. Poor Charlie is gonna be teased for having such a dimwit Mommy. Dr Dreamy needs to be rescued.
Ott drama and whoa steamy sex still make this series addictive
Georgia and Ben. The book jumps right in the 1st page with sex. The story begins with Georgia meeting Ben after 8 years following their 1 night stand. They have a kid The whole story was basically Ben pining for Georgia. Them having sex like crazy. Sex scenes were Ben eating her pussy. Then immediately after she climaxes, goes to eat her out again. Throw in some anal and sex toys. Repeat sex scenes. Him eating her pussy. Repeat. Georgia was pissing me off through the book. She was so selfish. She was wishy washy. She cared about herself. I almost DNF but I kept on. By the end i was skimming just to finish. It took me a while to finish because I wasnt invested. Waste of my time.
I read hundreds of book a year and have only DNFed 3, this book makes number 4. Unfortunately I couldn’t stand the FMC in this book. She was so selfish and self centered only caring about singing on a cruise ship. Like that was the only thing in the world. She says she loves her son but all her inner dialogue and action are focused on the only thing she wants being on that cruise ship. She doesn’t know how or doesn’t want to communicate even when her son is faced with life altering situations. She is horrible to the MMC and her vibe is just so off.
Very disappointing from this author, Female main character too childish and selfish. Very sick child is almost an afterthought to the plot. Felt sorry for the male main character. The hot and cold over and over again got old.
First of all this is a very emotional read, you will feel every emotion imaginable so the writing is done very well. Ben may have made an initial mistake but he has proven to be a great character doing his best to fight for the love of his life and family he desires. Unfortunately, Georgia is a piece of work that does not seem to deserve him. She was very hard to like as she continued to be unwilling to compromise and work together with Ben even after he has proven to be supportive. Loved Ben throughout most of this story and how hard he worked at getting his family to be together.

He’s a doctor and she’s a cruise ship singer. They were dating 8 years ago and she left to go on the ship. He left for a residency in NY without leaving her a note. She is pregnant. She holds a grudge for 8 years and never tells him about his son - never tries to find him.
I did not like this book. It was HIGH on sex scenes with some kinky stuff - ice, a ball in v, anal - and if the other main plot line didn’t involve a sick child it may have been good - but oh man - these two topics DO NOT mix. The kid potentially has a cancerous brain tumor and all the two main characters do is have raunchy sex. Even if not cancerous he has a brain tumor that has to be removed…. And again they just keep having sex.
And the h is EXTREMELY selfish- Ben offers to care for them but she won’t leave her cruise ship job. She would rather her son have NO friends and live in the box of a room on the ship… just so selfish. She could easily of lived on land and kept looking for a singing job… but no it had to be right now or else. She was a real selfish jerk. She keeps having unprotected sex with the H and giving mixed signals- and whipping him around mentally- he wasn’t too smart putting up with it all either.
I probably should have DNFd this book… might go down as most inappropriate book ever for me.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
It was as if the author decided to write the most selfish FMC ever. -keep kid from father because her feelings were hurt -plan to continue to keep kid from father because she is afraid he will leave when he has shown himself to be stable and she lives on a cruise ship with the kid for heaven's sake. -send mixed signals to the MMC while planning on keeping his kid on a cruise ship where visitation isn't possible
If you're going to keep a child from a known father in a story you better have a dang good reason. A dream of being a cruise ship entertainer isn't a good reason.

As young adults move from college days to professional training or career placements, couples involved in a relationship can be faced with challenging choices if the partners’ pathways do not locationally align. While communication is essential, unfortunately, it can be difficult to communicate on such essential but personal topics without becoming emotionally siloed in each individual’s needs, wants and dreams.
For beautiful, dark-haired Georgia Lane, as a talented, aspiring singer who also had a passion for seeing the world, the perfect job pathway was to be a performer—and in best of worlds the headliner—for a cruise line which offered its guests a total package of on-board entertainment and exotic destinations.
However, for her boyfriend and lover, Ben Wilkes, a cruise ship would not serve his medical training needs. And when he left without warning, he left without closure for their relationship add and no means of contacting him. So, when she discovered that she was pregnant, she had no means of sharing the news with the father-to-be. And so, with determination and love for her unborn child she prepared to begin her career as singer and mother-to-be.
Now, 8 years later, Georgia and son Charlie are in Hudson, New York for a brief break from mom’s cruise ship entertainer gig. And, when Charlie sees an advertisement for a waterpark, like every other 8-year-old, he wants to try the new experience. So, the loving, indulgent mom agrees. And, all goes well until running on the wet pool deck, Charlie slips, falls, and hits his head on the concrete surface. And, when a panic ensues as an ambulance is summoned, a doctor, Ben Wilkes who was babysitting his best friend Harper’s four-year-old daughter, Lilly, witnessing Charlie slip and fall, ran to the unconscious boy and stayed by his side until the EMTs got there. The two former lovers—Georgia and Ben—are reunited by the son that Ben never knew he fathered.
Sofia T. Summers continues the tales of the medical staff of Hudson, NY—their challenges and the healing properties of love. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Okay, i freaky don't know why I keep going when a lot of the times the fmc is not likeable. And Georgia was not likeable. They were fwb while she was at Port and he was in medical school, he left her know he applied for a prestigious program in NYC, so he may leave Florida. She sings for a cruise line for a living. She left to go on the ship, he got the call. He obviously took the opportunity. We'll she apparently showed up months later to tell him she was pregnant but he was gone. They were not a couple, if was a NSA situation. Yet for 8 years, she merit the fact she had his baby from him. Then throughout the whole book she uses him for s** then throws in his face about him abandoning her, uh yeah he pursued his MEDICAL DEGREE while she sang on a ship. Fmc was petty and immature, then she puts her job before her ill child and refuses to allow Ben to be a parent to his own son. When you have kids it becomes about THE KIDS, not the parent or past issues. She was petty, immature and just genuinely didn't put the child's needs first. Emotional needs are just as important and Charlie wanted to stay with his father. She at one point STRUCK Ben. Like WTAF.... I almost DNF. Just despicable behavior from fmc. Honestly in real-life he should have got a lawyer and FOUGHT FOR HIS KID, BC ITS ABOUT THE KID NOT S** AND HIS EX... and fought for his parental rights. No that's not attacking the mother, it's fighting for your child fast. As a mother this is truly cringy to do to a good man who would be a great father. Don't recommend at all. Mmc deserved better.
Secret Baby for Dr. Dreamy is Georgia and Ben's story. They knew each other ten years before but he left for his residency without saying goodbye. When they unexpectedly meet, at a water park of all places, they bond over her son's injury. Will that be all that draws them together after so much time has passed?
Georgia was hard for me to like since she wanted things her way including having sex with Ben and then pushing him away. She kept running away since she didn't trust Ben unless it was something she wanted. He kept proving himself over and over again that he'd be there for her and her son until she had no choice but to believe him.
They had an off the charts attraction and there was love between them but she was loathe to say it or think they'd have a future. They definitely had poor communication skills and they both seemed to confide more in their friends than with each other. Her job as the headliner on a cruise ship, where she and her son live, is all she could think about. How fast can she return to her job without endangering her son's health after his injury?
There are secrets and friends and colleagues. There's a few stories being told that are woven together. There is finally a happily ever after that was nicely portrayed in the epilogue. I liked the extended epilogue which hints at Mindy's story - Georgia's new friend and a colleague of Ben's.

Georgia Lane had a fling with Ben Wilkes eight years ago. When she found out that she was pregnant, she went on shore to find him and tell him. Instead she found an empty apartment with no note. Ben had left to go do his residency without telling Georgia. She went back to the ship where she is the entertainer at sea. Her eight year old son is named Charlie. He travels with her on the ship and Georgia home schools him. He was antsy on the ship so she took him on a day trip to the water park in Hudson NY. He slipped and hit his head.
Dr. Ben Wilkes was at the water park with his best friend Harper’s daughter Lily and Harper’s mom Miriam. When Charlie fell, he immediately went to assist until the EMTs arrived. He was surprised to see Georgia and that she is Charlie’s mother.
The CT scan showed a mild concussion but it also showed a brain tumor. The have Charlie sedated so they can do a biopsy on the tumor once the swelling from the concussion goes down. They don’t want to do surgery unless it is really necessary.
Will Charlie be okay? Will Georgia lose her job as the headliner on the ship because of Charlie’s hospital stay? Will Georgia have the courage to tell Ben the truth? Do they still love each other and will they take a chance on each other?
I think this was one of my favorites of the series. I also liked seeing the characters from the other stories.

worst book i’ve eve read in my entire life. the female main character is absolutely insufferable. she is 100% at fault for everything taht goes wrong in this book LITERALLY ALL OF IT. told him she didn’t want a relationship form him repeatedly and that it was just sex, knew he was leaving for a residency and still got mad when he left. didn’t call him at all to tell him about their child but then throughout the entire book blames him for abandoning her when she needed him most. BUT YOU NEVER TOLD HIM SK HOW CAN YOU BE MAD. is insanely selfish the whole book puts her needs infront of her son who is literally sick in the hospital with a tumor but ong she’s gonna lose her carnival cruise singing job obviously that’s much worse😔😔. refuses to live a normal life even though her son is literally sitting there the whole time basically saying he doesn’t want to go back to the shop then actually straight up saying it multiple times. gets mad when their song asks to stay with the dad and says he’s a stranger, YOU HID HiS CHILD FROM HIM?????? not to mention one sendin they are having a serious conversation the next she’s saying no we can’t talk about this i’m not ready then they fuck and she acts awful to him afterwards. overall there is so much meaningless sex scenes i skipped over what felt like 10 and j had actually read the first couple. like it’s all sex hospital sex hospital sex her yelling at him hospital sex repeat the whole book. i would give this negative stars if i could
Wonderful story. I really liked Ben from the last book so was looking forward to reading his own story & was not disappointed. When Ben went to help an injured boy while he was at a waterpark he was surprised to find his mother was Georgia the woman he'd fallen in love with years ago & staying with her at the hospital. Georgia was shocked to see Ben after all these years but had to be strong for her son Charlie so was glad Ben was there as she had nobody else. When the doctors came to see them with the results of Charlie's scan there was a shocking discovery & Ben promised he would be there to help them both. Ben told her to stay with him until Charlie was better but there was a lot of tension & hostility from how their last time being together ended. Although Georgia couldn't fully get past that the sexual chemistry was still just as hot & they eventually gave in but agreed it would end when she left when Charlie was better. There were secrets, misunderstandings & the connection between them was more than physical & I was really hoping as well as Charlie was that there could be a happy ending but it seemed like Georgia didn't want him as much as he wanted her. Once you start reading this you won't want to stop & its lovely getting to see characters from previous stories come in.

Georgia had her heart broken 8 years ago when she got her dream job singing on a cruise ship. She was gone for one cruise and came home to find his apartment empty and no note or forwarding address. He had moved for a residency with top doctors. Now while at a water park with her son he falls and won’t wake up. Ben happens to be there babysitting his best friends daughter and sees the fall rushing to help. Both are shocked to see the other. When complications arise with Charlie after the fall Georgia has to postpone going back to the ship and her job is in jeopardy. Ben offers to help by letting them stay with him. He knows he messed up royally in the past but it’s his mission to prove to Georgia he is sorry for hurting her and would never leave her again. Georgia has to decide if she can trust him and how to tell him part of the reason she is so hurt is because she came back to tell him she was pregnant and he was just gone. Now there’s more reason for a second chance but giving up her beloved job on the ship, especially when she has no job lined up, on top of the past issues she is torn.

Ben and Georgia were together 8 years ago but he broke her heart. Georgia accepted her dream job of a singer on a cruise ship whilst Ben was studying to be a doctor. When she realised she was pregnant and went to find him to tell him, he had disappeared without any note or forwarding address. Unbeknown to Georgia the opportunity to learn from top doctors came along and he couldn't pass it by. He also didn't know that she was serious about him, so thought nothing of moving on and leaving her to pursue her dreams.
Because of his actions Georgia can't trust him to be there for her when her son suffers an accident at the water park and Ben is on hand to assist.
Despite messy up badly, Ben still loves her and can't move on, and Georgia feels the same but neither is willing to admit their feelings to the other.
Medical complications, mis-understandings and unspoken feelings are intertwined with a sizzling chemistry as these two characters try to find a way to follow their dreams and co-parent their son.
This is a book with great characters, and the pages turned easily.
Can't wait to read Hayley and Owen's story, and maybe Mindy and Jace.

Secret Baby for Dr. Dreamy follows Dr. Ben Wilkes and Georgia Lane. They were in a no-strings-attached relationship more than eight years ago when she got her dream job singing on a cruise ship and left. While on the ship she discovers she's pregnant but he never knew because while she was gone he left for his residency program. She was resentful that he left even though she knew he was waiting to begin. Now it's eight years later the truth is going to come out when they meet again after an accident at the water park involving her son Charlie. Even then she didn't admit Charlie was his.
Their storyline is about how much he's trying to prove he still loves her and how she is determined to leave and head back to the cruise ship without telling him who Charlie really is all the while still being angry, resentful and blaming him for everything when it's just as much her fault. I must say she really irritated me at every turn and I wasn't sure I even wanted them together because of her attitude. Even after the truth comes out and he's bending over backwards she still planning on fleeing. I did love Ben and Charlie together.
I received a free ARC through Booksprout an I'm voluntarily leaving my review.
Summers last book ends with Ben seeing Charlie smash his head at the playground. In the rise to the hospital with EMTs, Ben learns that Charlie is the same age a child would be if Georgia had got pregnant right before they broke up. He hasn't seen her in seven years, not since he cleared out of his apartment while she was on a job on board ship for a month. No note, no commitment, just gone. So Georgia didn't try and make him learn he'd be a daddy, but also isn't admitting it now they've reconnected while Charlie recovers. Can these two find their way back to each other? He's never had a relationship that stood up to her as a measuring stick. But can she trust him not to break her heart again?
In the end, after many sparks and lots of communication, it looks like these two will find their happy ever after.

Georgia and Ben were lovers years ago but went their separate ways. She followed her dream of being an entertainer on a cruise ship, and he went to Med school. He never knew she was pregnant when he left, but she always felt betrayed by him. They run into each other at a water park when her son has an accident, and he steps in to give medical attention. She's bitter about the past and doesn't want to expose her secret but ends up having too. She's still bitter and jealous that he'll compete with her for their son's affection. She has serious trust and insecurity years. She's selfish, whiney and hard to like. Her singing career comes first, even above her love for him or their son's welfare and happiness. He's so patient because he truly loves her and their son, Charlie. Things finally come together and there's an HEA and no cliffhanger. I read a free arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
First, I liked this book. A lot. I was just annoyed by the way Georgia used Ben for sex in this book. It's my only dislike of the story. Because this is really a love story 8 years in the making.
When you meet Ben in the previous book (My Ex-Boyfriend's Dad) he's kind of quiet and subdued. But you could see there was something else there for him. Why did he hang around Harper so much? We get the answer in this book. He's still hung up on Georgia even 8 years later.
The push and pull between Georgia's feelings and her acceptance (or not) of Ben's apology for leaving years ago was tough to read. That was why I gave it 4 stars. I thought there was too much talking about the feelings that she was hurt and then back to sex again.
I loved their eventual HEA. It felt right, I just wish they would have found each other sooner!.

This is a dual POV second chance romance by Sofia T summers. It has a great storyline that has some very descriptive steamy scenes. I love romance and thrilled that the characters get their HEA.
Georgia is a cruise ship entertainer but is at a port when she decides to treat her son by taking him to a water park. Unfortunately he has an accident that leads to a hospital visit.
Ben is a doctor and Georgia’s old flame , can they rekindle their romance? We find out if Georgia can be convinced to stay on land.
I enjoyed reading their story, it was very well written especially the hospital scenes. It made you feel for the characters and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

An emotional second chance romance, with betrayal, a big secret and a lot of angst. Ben and Georgia has great chemistry.
What started off as a no strings attached arrangement, results in an unplanned pregnancy. When Georgia gets her dream job on a cruise ship, she finds out she is expecting but when she comes home, she finds out Ben left for his residency without a word. So she never tells him.
8 years later her son Charlie gets injured and the doctor treating him is Ben. He suspects the child is his but tries to get Georgia to confirm it.
Such a great story, where both of them try to work through their feelings of guilt and blame. Can they work it all out to become a family?.

This has a very good storyline that I enjoyed. Dr. Ben and Georgia met each other 8 years prior to meeting again at the water park. They had a no-strings-attached relationship. While on the ship Georgia finds out that she is pregnant. Dr. Ben never knew she was pregnant because he left for his residency. No with her son's injury at the water park, they meet again. Dr. Ben spends so much time trying to convince Georgia that he still loves her but Georgia just can't get over her anger and blames Ben for everything that happened. I really couldn't get into Lucy and her attitude. Ben and Charlie were great together. It still was a good story to read.

Georgia never expected that a trip to a water park with her son would bring her back in contact with her first love, Ben, her son's father. The man who when the ship was out to see he left town. He little boy is sick and she has to stay in town while the doctors make him better. The chemistry with Ben is just like it always was but can she risk her heart when he tells her that he still loves her. What if he leaves again?
Georgia made me crazy, yes he left but she gave him no indication she wanted him more than when she was back on shore. Ben met her more than half way.

Secret Baby for Dr. Dreamy is the sixth book in the Forbidden Doctors series. This is a sweet and fairly easy read but there are emotions that may have you reaching for a tissue a time or two. The story is about Georgia and Ben who have an eight year spread in their relationship. There is a definite push and pull between this couple that becomes a running loop of sex and the Georgia running....sex and then Georgia running....and so on. When the loop finally breaks it is a new beginning, but with a lot of shared history, for this couple and their son.
Georgia comes across Ben by accident at a park when her son falls and hurts himself. Little does Ben know the little boy is his son. Georgia was a conundrum for me. She desperately wanted to have a life with Ben and her son. She was desperately afraid of losing her career and of Ben flaking out on her again. The chemistry between Ben and Georgia is undeniable. Her son really wants his Dad. They have so much to work out. A lot of this book was advance and then retreat. It frustrated me but that was the mark of a good author drawing me into the characters feelings. Great read!.

My first read of this author and I found myself pulled into this second chance story. Lovers in the past that went different directions in life are reunited when an accident occurs. Raw emotion filled storyline filled with abandonment, betrayal, secrets, hurt, mistrust, steamy passion, bitterness, determination, mistakes, forgiveness and love. There were times I really lost my patience with Georgia. Ben really was a strong character. Dual POV. HEA.
