1: Many Minds ... One Spirit
This book is about you! It is an attempt to convince you that every single person that you know meet or see is one with you. My hope is to encourage you to understand you are the most significant entity that has ever existed, and you are the least important of all that exists. It is this dichotomy that makes us unique it is also this dichotomy that binds us together as one family.
My previous two books have been about the God-given, beautiful and satisfying way of life that is possible as a result of implementing and living the steps in a 12-step program. In themselves, none of these programs even hint at the possibility of achieving a "oneness" with all mankind, but it will do exactly that. The possibilities, because of doing these programs are eye-opening and lifesaving. They begin with awareness, then lead us to a human and spiritual cleansing, and ultimately point us in the direction of lifelong, spiritual awakening.
This is a journey of massive proportions and yet we need do nothing other than become willing to embark on it. Sometimes I feel my quest is like the phrase was associated with Star Trek , “ to go where no man has gone before ”. However, it is not true. Admittedly, few have made the journey, and I believe all I found a peace and enlightenment and the discovery of being one with all. I hope you will hear the call of your Spirit, and forge ahead to discover your oneness with all.
