“Just as words cannot describe the feeling of "total union with the Universe" or “Divine Connection”, I am finding it equally difficult to express how this book has touched me. Katrina helped me make sense of the fact that science and spirituality are connected in more ways than I imagined. This is a book to be shared with many, as long as I have a copy for my bedside table too.” KEN CASLER
“It is sometimes the simplest things that crack me open when I realize them. Katrina’s book Divine Union of the Masculine and Feminine is one such simple cracking-open. Gently paced and reflective, its chapters give the reader an opportunity to re-define and re-structure aspects of the Self no matter where they are on their life journey. This book is written for me and it’s written for you, whoever you are!” AARTI ARIA MATHUR
“Katrina weaves from massive and diverse philosophies and paradigms but presents them into easy-to-understand and applicable offerings. Reading this book is like spending a delightful and heart-opening day with a wise and caring friend. I was able to immediately integrate the concepts in my life and challenge some of my unhelpful beliefs. By applying ideas on how the masculine can support the feminine, I have started to pave my way into self-mastery. If you feel stuck in any way, shape, or form, this book could be the answer!” MARY LLENELL PAZ ANORICO
“Absolutely brilliant! Katrina has captured and expressed the dance between the Divine union of the masculine and feminine in such a way that my soul was enraptured by the flow of love that carries the words. Indescribable, yet, I feel, a knowing, that resonates deep within my being. This book has kissed my soul, I’m feeling connected, inspired and ready to get out there and play. May this book be a spark of inspiration as it has been in my life.” ALMA DIAZ
“In a world that keeps changing in such a fast pace, with new technologies emerging and making it possible for us to receive way more information than our brains can process, it is easy for us to feel compelled to do more, better, and faster, and to disconnect from our body, heart and soul in order to meet needs and expectations from others. Katrina’s book is a kind invitation for us to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and rethink and redefine the principles we have adopted to guide our lives that may no longer make sense. By learning more about Feminine and Masculine energies, how they operate within us, reflect in our relationships, and are expressed in the world, we can find our own ways to integrate them within us and open ourselves to infinite possibilities.” KAREN EMY AOYAGUI
Katrina was raised in Toronto, Canada, by two teachers -- so learning was paramount. She went on to get a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, minoring in philosophy and spirituality. Soon after, her academic life changed to domesticity when she married a dairy farmer, moved to the country and raised two wonderful children.
Today, Katrina Bos is a writer, a speaker, and a teacher of both spirituality and real day-to-day living. She is passionate about tantra, personal health and conscious parenting, and has written two books to date: "What if You Could Skip the Cancer?" and "Tantric Intimacy: Discover the Magic of True Connection"
I read this as my friend sought opinion on this book. So here it is. Rated it 5 stars only to make this review come up in top. In actuality I would give 1 Star just for the sake of reviewing. Already knew what I was getting the moment I read 'Inclusive of all genders'. Reminded me of a famous comedians words, he said, "If he is of the opinion that the Earth is Flat; then there is no point in asking him about the holocaust". Of course he will say some dumb stuff.
As a student of esoteric philosophies both eastern and western under teacher holding traditional lineages, I couldn't bear the amount of misconstruction of the fundamentals of Masculine and Feminine principles and "Redefining" (author uses this word to do her deed in doing so throughout the book to meet the modern feminist woke gender ideological movement). A total disgrace to the ancient wisdom bearing paths of Truths.
Neo tantra, bdsm fetishes (which the author wrote about) is also sprinkled throughout in a fashionable sense which doesn't have anything to do with the tantric wisdom philosophies of Hinduism, Buddhism and esoteric Christianity.
The woke left may find it appealing as it has romanticized the fundamentals to meet their perverted ideological need. Right may not find value in it as it doesn't play along with the 'God principle of traditionality. Current status of both sides are further far away Eternal Definitive Principles guarded by the sages and masters of Ultimate Truth
Bottom-line: Instead of giving the Truth principles about Shiva-Shakti, Masculine and Feminine, Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, Yin and Yang; This book is a people pleaser as it mis-constructs fundamental principles to meet the new age modern masses. Has nothing to do with Union of Ultimate Truth of Masculine and Feminine in essence or its expression respectively in Man and Woman.
Great explanation of the feminine and masculine and how it shows up in different ways in our everyday lives. Mostly focusing on relationships but also within friendships, work, parenting etc.
