This is my first E.S. Lynn book, and what a great read it was. It's a short book, yet I was surprised that when I finished with it, I felt quite satisfied with how the main characters' story ended. Things didn't feel rushed; the characters' backstories were touched on just well enough for us to understand their current personas.

I loved the dynamic between Tyler and Emily, our main characters. They are both passionate about their careers, intensely strong-willed, yet longing for meaningful connection with another, even if they try to deny it to themselves. As it turns out, they are forced to pretend to be in a relationship if a much-sought after business deal is to be sealed. Funny how such circumstances lead them to realize that theirs is a connection that has been a long time coming, given how they have known each other for so long. It made me believe that the supposed friction between them all this time was actually just an outcome of a repressed attraction they've long denied to each other. I loved how each of them finally broke through their walls and finally gave their hearts a chance. To me, an intensely brooding, grumpy, walled-off alpha male finally succumbing his heart to a headstrong woman is just so appealing. It thus makes me want to read up on the rest of E.S. Lynn's Grumpy Billionaire series!

A enemies to lovers romance that will captivate you. Tyler and Emily have known each other since college as he happens to be her brother’s best friend and partner in business. Through hard work and dedication they have grown their company to being one of the best in their fields. Emily has been an employee from the very beginning with marketing responsibilities. She reports and works closely with Tyler CEO and they are constantly butting heads. Tyler doesn’t do relationships, he prefers hookups. When he’s faced with the opportunity to merge his company with another in order to grow it even more, he’s also faced with a condition that comes with it. The owner is an old school kind of guy, with family values and stability. Tyler must prouve that he’s that man and needs a fiancée rapido presto! That woman is Emily his secret crush and love of his life, only she doesn’t know it yet. The journey these two embark on is funny, alluring with over the charts chemistry. Together they are strong and happy. Their fake relationship leads them to a real one, one they’ve kept hidden from each other for years. A very recommended reading with lots of grumpiness you’ll crave ❤️!

It's more love than hate in this relationship

Tyler is trying to finalise a business deal with another company but has hit a snag. While he's reliable, responsible and committed, they want someone who's committed to his family as well as work; and Tyler isn't a relationship man.

Emily works for her brother's best friend but they don't get on, she can never seem to please him no matter how good her proposals are. But after he helps out by driving her to a friend's gala evening, she's shocked when he turns up with breakfast and a proposal (the moment after she's finished her croissant is brilliant). But can they keep the relationship fake while on a business trip to beautiful Bali?

Emily and Tyler's story is sweet and romantic. Full of drama, humor, twists and great chemistry between the main characters. I also loved her brother Matt and best friend Lily who gave them great support. This is one you won't want to put down once you start reading.

Tyler’s life changed ten years ago when there was a tragic accident and so did his views on long term relationships and love-he wants neither, his only constant is his best friend and business partner Matt, his assistant Carl and Matts sister Emily with whom he butts heads with constantly! When a potential new client suggests he will rather go into business with someone who is in a committed relationship he immediately makes out he’s engaged to Emily! Will she go through with the charade, will they survive their trip when they constantly clash? Soon their fake romance is not so fake anymore and slowly Emily makes him think that maybe he can do forever ,with a little push from Carl too. A steamy, feel good hate to love read that I enjoyed. Likeable MCS and supporting characters too. Really liked this arc.

Very funny story. Favorite moment: I laughed out loud as I pictured the scene where Tyler waited for Emily to swallow her bite of croissant before telling her she was going to be his fake fiancé. I loved the way he told her the news.

I also felt kinda twingy in the heart for Emily while she waited like a boss for her man to shake out of his stubbornness. Thank goodness for Carl, Matt, and Lily keeping these two on track.

The main characters were quite wonderful. I would have loved to have them as friends. They were that relatable.

I would give this story all the stars. Excellent read. Highly recommend.

Changing for the Right Person -
This is a beautifully written story, that will allow you to escape the toil of modern life, and live in a wonderful bubble for a few hours, as you get sucked into the story whilst you indulge yourself in this must read forbidden romance story. This is a definite must read book, that you will be happy to read.

WOW you have struck gold when you read this book. This is a really fantastic book that will have you wishing you would have found it sooner than you did and so excited to be reading it. E.S. has given us a book that will pull you into the lives of Tyler and Emily that has some steamy hotness as well as some oh my toe-curling sex. These two lovers can really make this book steam which is perfect in my opinion.

Boss Fiancé - Fake or Real

Emily is unexpectedly caught in the middle of a fake engagement with her boss Tyler. They have a love/hate type relationship that makes things difficult when everything between them gets more serious. This was a fascinating read that was very enjoyable.

It was good for a short story, most didn't feel rushed, the ending a little bit so but not bad. Easy to get into and flowed really well. Good character chemistry and dynamic between multiple characters
