Zero Tolerance is the fourth, (and hopefully not last) book in Lynn Burke’s Elite Escort series. This story is about owner Micah, and the little sister of Micah’s secretary Dina. Dina is quitting Elite to marry and is leaving without notice. She does have a replacement however, her sister Jasmine.
But Jasmine has a panic attack the first time she meets her new boss as soon as he shakes her hand. Little does he know Jasmine does not like being touched at all. Both are wildly attracted to each other, Jasmine has fantasies about Micah dominating her, but her past keeps her from men touching her.
She finally asks Micah for help in getting over her fears, but her past might just catch up with her. As always, Lynn has done a fantastic job, and I love the fact that this is set in Boston and its suburbs. (Go Pats!)

I liked this one a lot. Interesting twist on the can’t-be-together trope. Insta-love was creeping on the 50 Shades plot but that’s ok.
I would say it’s bizarre how many SA’s and DV’s occur in this EE world but it’s not bizarre cuz it’s exactly the same in the real world.

I think we should give Micah the title of WMPD (World’s Most Patient Dom). And there’s a good reason for it. He has his eyes set on Jasmine, his new assistant who has ‘touch’ issues.
Due to circumstances from her past, she cannot abide having anyone touch her, other than a few family members. And Micah badly wants to touch her, but promises to only do so when she gives consent. And here is where it will take some time and getting to know each other, baby steps.
I enjoyed reading how Micah worked so hard to earn Jasmine’s trust. These characters just jumped out of the book, you could feel the intensity between the two of them. Another amazing story from Lynn Burke, I can’t wait to see what else is to come from Elite Escorts!

Zero Tolerance is the fifth and final book of this series and in my opinion can be read as a standalone. I have read books one and two and truly enjoyed those, so I had high expectations for this book. We meet Micah in book one as the owner of Elite Escorts. He is best friends with Blake and Reid from the previous books so I could not wait to read his story. So far, each book has a different sexual vibe/tone to it and this one touches on BDSM. This is Micah and Jasmine's story.
Micah is a dominant and very early on his sexual experiences learned that respect and care are imperative when entering any sexual encounter, but especially BDSM. He has built a very successful escort business and takes great care with his employees and clients. Every now and then he steps in and takes on a client. He has never felt forever with a woman was for him until all of his friends started finding their forever love. The day his new secretary walks into his life, he is done for and totally understands how all of his friends fell so fast.
Jasmine is the sister of Micah's former secretary who arranged for Jasmine to take her place knowing that Micah would take care with her. She has some serious PTSD from her childhood and can't stand to be touched. She needs a job with solitude and very little human contact. The only problem for her, is he is the first person that she has actually wanted to get past her demons for.
Micah notices the pain in her eyes instantly and is immediately drawn to her. After reading Micah and Jasmine's story, I need to learn how to breathe again. I was left either holding my breath or panting. I need a cold shower and a change of clothes. The intensity between these two is off the charts and gave me goosebumps that raced along my skin. I felt like an intruder reading about their intimacy and every aspect of their lives. Trust is crucial in the dynamic Micah badly wants to have with Jasmine. But for that to happen, she must first be able to withstand him being able even to touch a fingertip to her arm.

How the mighty Micah has fallen!
From beginning to end I was engrossed in the pages of this book. We’ve met Micah a few times in the previous books. We know he owns Elite Escorts and is determined not to be jealous of all his friends when they find their person.
When his secretary quits she brings in her sister Jasmine to train to take her place. Jasmine has touch intolerance, she’s barely able to let her own family touch her. We learn why that is and it’s truly heartbreaking.
When Micah sees her for the first time, he believes she’s all his fantasies coming true. When he learns about her touch intolerance he reigns in his emotions and desires. He is so patient with her and offers to help her since she reacted positively to his accidental touch.
They go at a very slow pace but eventually we see these two falling in love. I loved how Micah held back and chose not to go out on jobs from the moment he met her. He put her first and slowly earned her trust.
These two moved quickly once all those walls came down and I loved that they got their HFN.

I enjoyed this book the most in this series, The having to hold back with physical touch and proximity leads to a buildup of expectations, hesitation and preparedness. As a reader I was turning pages to find out if now was the time. This is when I say "Don't jump the gun as it won't have the brilliant impact if you do! There were two chapters, besides the plenty of snippets and paragraphs that made me sink into my chair and have a WOW moment. Chapter 11 and 17 were the culmination, although there was still more to come.
When I first started reading, I had to double check if I had grabbed the correct book, as that scene was not what I was into and almost stopped reading. However, it played an important role in building the character of Micah into who he is 18 years later, and how he knew how to help Jasmine overcome her fears.

I'm simply in awe of authors I read who continually write stories that I know will stick with me for a while! Lynn Burke is one of those authors who I've never had any problem connecting with the characters she writes about. Micah is the owner of Elite Escorts and when his secretary leaves suddenly, she suggests her sister take her place. Enter Jasmine! Micah is instantly struck with her and wants her but her past prevents her from getting into a relationship. When Micah learns about her past, he's determined to make her his but knows he must go very slow. I loved how patient he was with her. And it was still hot enough to almost melt my kindle! Y'all, I'm gonna be so sad when this series ends because I love it so much! All 5 of these books are 5 star (or more) reads for me.

In this book we finally get Micha's story. Micha is the owner of EE and after witnessing his friends find love he finds himself wanting the same thing. In comes Jasmine, she is taking over as Micha's assistant because her sister his previous assistant is quitting and didn't give a notice. Jasmine has sever anxiety and PTSD and she has a panic attack when they first meet. Because of her past she can't stand being touched at all. Micah is so patient with her and of course they end up falling for one another. They are perfect for one another. I absolutely loved this book!!!!

Not bad per se but those 27 chapters could have been 16 (my official sweet spot for double POV erotica books) without hurting the story. The first 10 ones especially could be summarized in one.
The hot scenes were actually more than good but the premise of "touch phobia" was a bit underutilized. It was like the writer couldn't pick an approach between shy and slutty for the heroine.
Little blunders like "I've never seen one so big!" when the girl is a certified virgin BUT with porn watching mileage makes me roll my eyes.

This is book five in the Elite Escorts series and I certainly hope it’s not the last. I’ll be the first to admit that after reading the prologue, I wasn’t sure if I’d like Micah at all. I felt so bad for Ginger and what she went through in the hands of two young immature boys. At least he learned from that experience and became a better man. Jasmine on the other hand, had a very traumatic past and deals with panic attacks from people touching her. What transpires in their relationship is nothing short of epic. It was a wonderfully written slow burn story that still brought tears to eyes at times. I’d highly recommend.

Micah is the most beautiful, patient sadist I have ever encountered in a book and I loved him so much his willingness to go slow and help Jasmine be free of her past was everything, it was so emotional and touching and down right hot. These two together bring the heat and do not disappoint.
The writing is phenominal and captures every single detail so you can picture it happening and feel it all. I loved it so so much.

This is the book I have been waiting for! Micah has lost three of his top escorts to love. Now, he finds himself jealous and wanting the same, tired for being alone. Then Jasmine walks in. Jaz is taking over for her sister as Micah's assistant. She has severe anxiety from PTSD. Thankfully, Micah helps her overcome her fears and panic attacks slowly and patiently. In the meantime, they fall in love and touching Micah is the only thing Jaz wants to do. My favorite part of the book was when Jasmine hugs her father for the first time in years. I admit, I teared up. The two characters falling in love with each other was like breathing, inevitable.
