An outlaw gang escapes prison and kills their way to town, where the marshal and the mysterious stranger are out to find and stop them. Of course, lady loves are kidnapped. (Does 'kidnapped' sound more scary than 'abducted'? When did 'kidnap' go out of fashion?)

Not as much riding and shooting as I like, but I'm probably not really the audience for this.

3.8 stars is about right... John Stranger not in the story much - still enjoyable but the series is not as good as I remember
