This book was more about self discovery than art. There were some very good suggestions along that line. Most of the art was far too advanced for me.

I am not an artist by any stretch of the imagination. I read this book because it mentions my son (pp 154-155)who is an artist. As I read, I think I discovered that the basic principles the author was trying to teach about improving one’s artistic ability are applicable in any endeavor to improve oneself. If one wants to improve an ability, read the book and see if you can find application.
