Published in 2002, 'Boeing 737' is one of many in the popular 'Crowood Aviation Series' of books on famous aircraft types. The Boeing 737 is the subject here, with a very optimistic view of the use of this airliner since it first appeared in the 1960s, supported by a colossal number of excellent photos. The downside is that it demonstrates the danger of releasing a book on aircraft that is in production at the time of print with likely future development of the type - I doubt that the optimistic outlook of the writer would survive the Boeing 737's problems of recent years. Nevertheless, and enjoyable book with a great emphasis on the early generation 'Baby Boeing' variants.
