THE UNDERGROUND RIPPER: SHORT HORROR STORY COLLECTION BOOK #1 By Tim O'Rourke
No spoilers. 4 stars. The newspapers read: The Underground Ripper Strikes Again!
Colin, 21, was a loner who liked to keep to himself, but he had a festering obsession...
The Underground Ripper...
... had become his dark idol, and tonight he would be just like the Ripper...
The Ripper always targeted women who traveled alone late at night on the London Underground when there were fewer people...
Colin would board the train and look for a lone female traveler, but, so far, no victim had emerged...
And he was getting antsy...
At the next stop, the perfect victim sat alone in the next carriage... and she was beautiful...
This was a perfect short story with a great ending. I've been meaning to read all the short little books on this collection, and Book #1 was a great start!
Oh man! This is bloody and gory and everything a horror story should be, and I love it! Just in time for fall and Halloween. Definitely worth a read!! Wish this was a whole novel!
“Slow Burn to Full Chaos: This horror thriller hits hard when you least expect it “
This book started off really interesting, and I appreciated that it wasn’t long. It was simple, easy to follow, and didn’t feel dragged out at all.
The ending did throw me off a bit—I expected something different from the main character, but I won’t say too much to avoid spoilers, especially since it’s such a short read.
Overall, it was very entertaining and kept my attention. If you enjoy horror thrillers and prefer shorter books, this is definitely worth checking out.
I gave it 4 stars and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick but interesting read.
This short read is available on kindle unlimited and does contain scenes of gore and violence.
I've not read anything by this author before and I found this was a really intriguing story. Even though its a short one it packs a lot in and I got to the end wanting to read more.
Luckily this is the first in a series of short horror stories so I can go ahead and read another spooky tale.
