I received a formal diagnosis of ADHD in March followed by an informal disgnosis of Autism (Psychiatrist concluded that “7 out of 8 of the scores are (decisively) above the screening threshold for autism”. I have to book a final meeting to make it formal).
This book consists of the journey I take after a diagnosis of ADHD and Autism, looking back at my life . Dissecting my childhood, Education, Employment and Relationships. Deciphering the mysteries of my behaviours and gaining a new understanding of myself. I also go into recent research, provide an encyclopaedia of terms and the personal stories of other individuals living with this condition, to provide insight, understanding and awareness. While we have learnt so much in the last 10-years, there is still a stigma and misunderstanding surrounding a diagnosis of ADHD and Autism.
This book contains everything I have learnt, with the hope it will be a road map for you on your journey.
