Blacklisted : Wittmore University

Rate this book

I thought I had everything under control.

Turns out everyone was controlling me.

I did everything right. I had the right clothes, the perfect hair, stellar social connections, and most of all, I had him, Royer Atkinson, president of the Zeta Zig fraternity.

All of this was part of my plan to get into the best sorority at Wittmore University. Except my life imploded and the unthinkable happened, I wasn’t just rejected.

I’m blacklisted.

And the person that set it up? My not-so-perfect-boyfriend.

I have two options: run away or I can get my revenge by posing as a male and infiltrating Royer’s fraternity rush to get enough evidence of hazing to burn them to the ground.

Even though it means teaming up with my biggest enemy and changing everything about myself, I choose revenge.

Blacklisted is a dark, new adult, contemporary romance with multiple love interests. Warnings apply for dark romance.

I enjoyed the storyline but didn’t see the point of the harem 🤷. Only Miller made any sense.

I read and reviewed this book like a year ago, when it came out as part of an anthology. But now that it has its own page and is out as a standalone book, I'm copying my review here, just to be organized.

This one feels like Angel Lawson was just like, “People like my RH books that have fraternities and dubious consent, so I’ll just give them another book like that. But, I’m busy writing the next book in the Royals of Forsyth University world, and so, I don’t have time to do character development or create a story that makes sense for a new one – hopefully they’ll eat it up, anyway!”

This story has a lot of the ingredients that her Lords of Pain and Dukes of Ruin books have. But, it’s much more undercooked and it makes even LESS sense – which is impressive, since although those books are fun, I wouldn’t say their world makes a ton of sense!

In this, the heroine is starting college and she wants to get into a sorority. She ends up getting blacklisted and rejected (sabotaged by her evil boyfriend, who’s the head of a frat). She’s planning to drop out of this school, since her social life is ruined…when a random guy approaches her and convinces her to pretend to be a boy and join her ex-boyfriend’s fraternity (for the purpose of exposing their hazing, getting them disbanded from their college, and getting revenge). Sure. Okay.

She agrees to do this, because why not let a random guy convince you to do an insane plan! Then, she proceeds to do a “She’s the Man” type undercover operation, and go through a bunch of terrible hazing shit that these frat guys make her do, all while pretending to be a boy.

This book does NOT provide enough background information about the heroine for us to understand WHY she’s going along with this batshit crazy plan. She’s putting herself through hell, since the frat guys are doing messed-up things to her, and we have NO idea why. Revenge on her ex boyfriend isn’t enough of a reason. At least in the Lords and Dukes books, Story had the reason of trying to escape a psycho killer in Lords, and Lavinia has the reason of being trapped in that situation and literally forced into it, in Dukes. In this book, the heroine is not trapped. She COULD just leave if she wants to, and she'd be fine! And her reason of getting revenge on her ex is way too tame to justify putting herself through all this harrowing shit. She's not sympathetic, she's not relatable, she just seems stupid. (If you want a dark college RH with a similar premise, Kingston is better).

It’s also the most half-assed RH that I’ve ever read, since she only gets a developed relationship with 1 of the guys. The other 2 are tacked on towards the end after spending very little page time with her, just to make this book an RH. And, even though she’s pretending to be a boy, she doesn’t even make any of the guys have a bisexual identity crisis - since they figure out early on that she’s a girl. Wasted potential!

There’s also a “twist” at the end that doesn’t make any sense. So, this is a nonsensical book about college frats…but it’s not nonsense in a FUN way like Dukes of Ruin and that trilogy, it’s just weird and frustrating. Angel Lawson should stick to the Royals of Forsyth University series – and since Princes of Chaos wasn’t good, she should stick to making books as good as the Dukes trilogy was.

This book is about a girl who always wanted to be involved in the sorority life. Been part of a community and have sisters to "watch her back" (even tho she was aware that the sorority she wanted to get into, was full of 🐍 🐍 🐍).

When she arrives at college, her boyfriend (and his not-so-secret lover) do her dirty, and she gets blacklisted. She can no longer be a part of ANY sorority EVER AGAIN.

Out of nowhere, a stranger comes up to her with a plan to take down a sorority, but not just any. Her ex-boyfriend sorority, the one where he is the pres.

She decided to take that opportunity, but in order to make it work. She has to become a boy (bc this is a male sorority).

And then, she just has to survive.
One week.
One dare per day.

Being completely honest. In the first haft of the book, she lets people treat her like trash. The other haft we can see, nearly touch, the character development.

She becomes a true bad bitch👏👏

I just wanted to talk about this book because I just couldn't stop thinking about it. I couldn't sleep till I finished it. My ANXIETY LEVELS WERE TOO DAMNMMMM HIGH BRO. Like what in the Amanda Bynes- She's the Man Movies is going on here?! HAHA. Seriously if you know that movie where she dresses up as her twin brother -Inspired by Shakespeare 12th night, then yes, you know where this story is going.

This chick just got played by her BF, and then well, holy shit, she has to dress up as a man and infiltrate the frat OMG! I kept screaming at every page I was too terrified to turn the page cause I didn't want her to get caught. Cause, yes, she went through a lot as a pledge.

I just wished it was longer to be honest. I needed more scenes for the other guys. We only had Miller, not that I didn't love him. I did, I really did, but I needed more Knox and brotherly love.

There was only one guy I didn't really care about cause he didn't get a pov and I didn't regard him as part of the "Group" tbh. Despite it being short and all my adrenaline was UP UP UP, but overall I enjoyed it for what it was. :D

Didn't finish

I didn't make it past the first few chapters. I can handle a lot of darkness, but I can't handle sexual assault. The author put trigger warnings in the beginning, so I was prepared for some messed up stuff. But guys who force themselves on women is not something I can read repeatedly. In the first few chapters we're already at assault number 2 by the same guy. I decided to sneak peak the end (no, I don't normally do that). I see she's with the guy who, at least at the point I read to, assaulted her twice. I just couldn't bring myself to read any more. NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, could get me to forgive sexual assault. To know she somehow ends up with him makes me sick. No, I don't care what happened throughout the rest of the book that could make her forgive sexual assault and stay with the perpetrator. In my eyes she is weak and insecure if she can move past what he did. In my eyes there's no forgiveness for it.
I will repeat that I didn't read past the first few chapters. I stopped when the 2nd sexual assault was starting. Maybe things get better. Maybe it's a good story. I don't like weak women. Reagan had to be weak to want to be with a horrible guy like Miller... And why the he** would you not be willing to be "caught" for whatever wrong you committed in order to not be sexually assaulted? I would have been like, "see ya! Don't care what you tell everyone or what happens!"

The author did warn, so my reading some of it anyway is my own fault. Maybe you will like it.

Good start

I very much enjoyed the concept of this book and the start of the series. This book was a lighter dark romance compared to the author’s other series. It has some of the same characteristics like the sororities, but less big interconnected world.

Now, I did enjoy the revenge/gather intel plot. However, I think we needed a little bit more understanding of the main character’s motivation. Maybe understanding how much she was betrayed, and getting to know the other characters more would have helped. Once the revenge plot started, the book did become interesting. It’s definitely the darker side of Greek life. I think also understanding why the head of the fraternity was the way that he was and why other members were keen on supporting or betraying him would have added more to the story.

When it comes to the romance portion, the spice was there, but less so the development. I feel like it was mostly one person and the other two were quickly introduced. The way that the book ended leaves the relationship more open to develop.

While I enjoyed this book I think I would have liked a bit more background knowledge of the characters and the world to better grasp the magnitude of what was happening. The ending has my interest piqued for another book and I’m interested to see what will happen now that the FMC has the power.

As a fan of the Lords series,i picked up this long Novella that was originally in the Filty Elites anthology hoping for similar enjoyment.

It was OK...
The premise of the book is OK. - girl who thinks she's going to get a bid but is played with, then blacklisted. She's approached by a member of the Greek Council to bring down the worst frat but she has to pretend to be a guy.

The disguise isn't the best, and I'm shocked only one guy recognises her and that it's not the one she slept with.

She goes thru initiation for 7 days with the help of Miller, the guy who spotted who she was, while taking advantage of her at the same time.

The ending is a little confusing. I get that she ended up having feelings for the 3 men but to jump into a RH is very brave! Wish them luck. Not sure how the 3 guys will go on with it...

It was a quick read, not to the same enjoyment as the amazing lords, the end feels kinda disappointing and rushed together.

Why is it over????
There’s is nothing I want more than for more pages to this book. There is so much potential so I hope Angel continues this series in some way. While I do feel that the story being told came to a natural ending I feel there is so much more to be told for our characters. This was a quick easy read that still ticks all those dark romance boxes with some twists and fully immerses you into their world.

We start at the conclusion of sorority rush week where our heroine Reagan thinks she is basically a shoo-in for her favored house only to be told it’s all been a game and she’s been betrayed by her boyfriend, the president of the fraternity and his actual girlfriend who is the president of the sorority she’s hoping to get into. She is blacklisted and shunned by Greek life and is ready to go home until she is approached by an unlikely ally to take down the houses who wronged her. She is to rush her exs fraternity disguised as a boy and uncover the hazing and destroy them. She endures hell week like a champ and I cheered for her the whole time.

I do feel like there’s a little something missing from the story and that’s the full connection for our main characters. I think had the story been longer or if we were getting a sequel I’d be more settled with the shaky ground we’re kind of left on. This story is full of steam and on par with angels other books. The guys are not nice and they really make you ask yourself “do I like that?” “No”…. “yes”. If you don’t like slightly psychotic men with possessive tendencies this won’t be for you.

Unrealistic

I enjoyed the idea of the story. But, really even if 30% of the recruits and officers of the frat, Zeta Sig, think Reagan Lake, is a guy, seriously, kinda messed up. Reagan was pranked at the beginning of the book, into believing she would be initiated in the sorority, Gamma Epsilon (GE). She met a guy, Royer! Atkinson, while Reagan was still in high school. He was the president of Zeta Sig, widely known for their hazing and illegal activities. Royer and the Andrea, the Sorority chairperson ? on campus, had tricked Reagan and made sure she was not picked for any sorority, thus Blacklisting her, not just at Wittmore but would interconnect with other colleges. At first Reagan was going to tuck tail and run home. A representative from the Greek counsel, an off campus committee, overlooking all fraternity/sorority chapters to have them follow the rules. The liaison who contacted Reagan was an ex Zeta Sig by the name Grayson Hart. Grayson's idea was for Reagan to infiltrate the frat by posing as a male pledge, her stepbrother, currently in Europe doing what he does best, doing drugs and partying. The Greek council sets it up so she has all the credentials with a name change, now she is Theodore, (Theo), Hart, obviously not related to Grayson. Reagan cuts and dyes her hair. With lessons from Grayson, she learns to walk, talk and dress like a guy. She's in. No-one recognizes her except one guy. They start working together, even though Miller is best friends with Royer. Miller wants Royer removed but wants the frat chapter saved. The dangerous hazing practices Royer has cooked up for the recruits aren't in reality, over the top, in my opinion. Its the collective sexual entitlements the upperclassmen bestow on the pledges that are vicious when the safety of the females who flock to Greek fraternity parties, is threatening. The women are roofied, drugged and plied with alcohol to the point of being unconscious, unable to defend themselves against rape and assault. To add to the compromise of defenseless degradation, someone in the frat takes pictures or videos of the passed out women. As far as the hazing, up towards the end of the book, the worse had been extreme embarrassment of the recruits, such as ejaculating into a cup and padd!ing during the week long pledge week. The exception was the hike in the mountains without provisions, while forced to consume large amounts of alcohol. A recruit had died the year before. Reagan was to film and gather evidence against the frat and sorority. Somewhat unbelievable problems crop up during Reagan's week long trials. I'm finished with my review simply to leave the reader the ending without spoilers. I've read many Angel Lawson books but this wasn't one of her better ones. Read at ur own risk. I wouldn't recommend this book.

Reagan was a pawn. First she was the target of a couple, Royer and Angela, because she was an arrogant high-schooler ripe for a takedown. At the end of her own hazing, Miller had blackmailed her into fellatio.

After her blacklisting, she is recruited to spy upon the Frat hazing. Grayson claims he is from the Fraternity Council overseeing the legality of the events, and the Council provides the funding. I am suspicious, because this is a university attended primarily by the top 2%.

But Reagan is bent on revenge, so she trims her hair and changes her clothes and behavior. As a boy, she is more relatable 😊. Her ex-boyfriend/player (Royer) fails to recognize her, but his best friend Miller immediately catches on and decides to support her game to take Royer down. So much for friendships. As Reagan realizes, Miller is all about control.

The hazing is outrageous. After the group of participants arrives at a farm, they are called “goats,” and the week-long group showers, track events, and jerking off really strain my ability to keep disbelief away. Even with Miller’s help, I cannot see how she can fool anyone. When she is forced into a small room to look at a wall of male sexual conquests:

“Touching the spot on my side, I stare at the photo, wondering how and when it was taken.” --Well, girl, you gave yourself away. 😠

Logic seems to escape this story:
Reagan straps down her boobs as part of the disguise. Yet later Miller somehow touches her without the band in the way. She bares her torso to a store clerk...and somehow the clerk sees her nice rack?!?

“I know I’m exhausted and deprived of genuine affection and vulnerable.”

The climactic ending was both surprising and not. It was foreshadowed, but I honestly did not expect a MMMC based on the events. It seemed tacked-on. Since I don’t want RH, this was fine to me.

🎓🔥 4-STAR REVIEW: Blacklisted by Angel Lawson 🔥🎓

This dark, new adult romance had me hooked with its blend of revenge, drama, and deliciously messy relationships. Blacklisted takes the “college Greek life” trope and turns it on its head with high stakes, betrayal, and an MC who refuses to stay down.

What Worked for Me

Reagan’s resilience 🖤: She goes through so much in this story, but instead of letting it crush her, she claws her way back with grit and determination. Her decision to infiltrate the frat disguised as a guy was bold, chaotic, and I loved every second.

The villains 👎: Royer Atkinson is an absolutely awful human—and written so well that I was rooting extra hard for his downfall.

The guys (Miller, Knox, and Grayson) 🔥: Each of them brought a different energy to the story. Miller’s steady, Knox’s edge, Grayson’s charm—they balanced each other perfectly and made the multiple love interest angle feel dynamic instead of overwhelming.

The revenge plot 🕵️‍♀️: It was sharp, clever, and satisfying to see Reagan take her power back after being humiliated.

What I Wanted More Of

I would’ve loved a little more time with Reagan, Miller, Knox, and Grayson together—seeing their group dynamic evolve was one of my favorite parts, and I wished it had been expanded on even further.

And that cliffhanger ending?? Brutal. I really hope in the rest of the Wittmore U series we get closure on Royer—because honestly, if he doesn’t end up in jail, I’ll riot.

Final Thoughts

Dark, addictive, and filled with drama, Blacklisted is a strong start to the Wittmore U series. It nails the themes of revenge, power, and twisted romance, and sets up so much potential for what’s to come. Definitely check the trigger warnings before diving in, but if you love dark college romance with a revenge twist, this one’s worth picking up.

"Blacklisted" by Angel Lawson. I really like this author's writing style, story development and character development.

Reagan (18) is a freshman at Whittaker College. She participates in the Rush to become a sorority sister in the most important sorority on campus. A few months before Royer, the president of the top fraternity, started dating her, but she has a secret. Royer's best friend Miller has a video of her in which Reagen bitches about the sorority's president Andrea. Miller has been using this as leverage to favors from Reagan. Now, that she is so close in getting accepted by her sorority, he releases the video and Reagan is blacklisted from any campus activity for her college life. She is about to drop out of college for good when the former president of Royer and Miller's Fraternity, Grayson, asks her to join the recruiting of the frat disguised as a boy and spy on illegal/dangerous activities during the recruitment. So Reagan alters her appearance and enters the frat - only to be quickly discovered by Miller who then starts helping her getting through recruitment week...

I really liked the setting of Blacklisted. I liked the topic of the Sorority Rush at an Southern States Uni - a topic which is super popular and gets loads of attention on social media each Fall. Angel Lawson again creates great tension filled relationships between her characters. I really like Miller and the way he developed and slowly falls for Reagan. Reagan's change is also well done. I wasn't such a fan of the turn of the story when Reagan "transforms" into a boy. This was also quite unbelievable. Why didn't Grayson as a boy to spy on the frats? I also thought that this very much shortened the whole "Rush"-aspect of the story as focus shifts to the frats. However, all in all "Blacklisted" is creative, original and an interesting story.

This one ties with Even If It Hurts as my favorite from the Filthy Elites anthology. For me, this one was all about the revenge and thriller tension. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the book, that gripping sensation in my stomach, waiting for everything to come tumbling down, and not knowing if it would be the plot or the frat. It has been a good long time since a book has torn me up this much, and especially because it wasn’t the romance or smut that was doing it. The only think keeping me from giving it 5 stars was the ending.

Trust No One…

This book may have been a quick read but it sure did pack a punch! It had my mind all over the place. I didn’t know which characters to trust.

This book had a young girl with high hopes be taken down by people she thought were her friends. The treacherous twists and turns in this will have you trusting no one even up until the end.
Reagan is blacklisted by leader of the sorority that she had all her dreams riding on. She was a legacy with generations of women in her family who were members. She’s also been played by her boyfriend, the leader of the fraternity, in this diabolical plan to bring her down. Jealousy is a nasty twist and revenge is the fiery turn Reagan needs to bring them all down. Grayson approaches her at her lowest moment with a way to do it.
Reagan becomes entangled with Miller and Knox while going through the fraternity’s initiation just not as herself. Grayson’s plan is for her to disguise herself as a boy, infiltrate the fraternity and get the proof they need to bring them down.

I didn’t want this to end, I wanted so much more of this book and the characters in it!

Didn't like the female MC Reagan, for most of the book, but it had an interesting concept, & was full of twists & turns, plus the anticipation of imminent risky exposure kept me reading right to the end. Edge of your seat reading.
But ending was a bit of a cop-out. No major consequences - which is probably more realistic (since the rich do get away with everything) but not very satisfying.
In fact, the judgmental, bulling, sexism & elitism etc of the US fraternity/sorority culture is still sacrosanct to this day.
POV male MC had no real redeeming features, & their sole reason for doing anything was if it was beneficial for themselves in some way.
Plenty of missed opportunities to round out/deepen male MC's character, so reader could feel torn between which love interest they'd like to see succeed. I thought male POV MC ultimate action was, too little, too late, especially as he didn't know if the 'badguys' plained ending was carried out immediately.
Favourite characters by a large margin were Janelle & Grayson Hart, only characters who had a conscious, commonsense, weren't judgemental & weren't one dimensional.

The WORST Angel Lawson book I've read to date. I LOVE the Royals of Forsyth University series and the hockey books (Wittmore U), and mostly enjoyed the Preston Prep series but this one was NOT it. Definition of doing too much.

This book lacks character development. While I found Reagan unrelatable and a lot of the book predictable I still enjoyed her relationship with Miller. They at least had some chemistry and it made sense that he was interested in her the whole time she was dating Royer. I even understood when Knox was brought in and was enjoying the dynamic between those characters. However, we got like two scenes (and one of those scenes Knox was a cuck) and then in swoops Grayson. And boom story over. Why did we bring Grayson in? It made no sense and just felt forced. Grayson was also creepy. He's some detective guy thats obsessed with ending this frat he used to be a part of and for what? Furthermore why is this cop so touchy? The chemistry between Grayson and Reagan did not feel natural at all. Reagan seems to fall for any man that looks her way and gives her the time of day.

Excluding the underdeveloped RH the ending was very rushed and not very satisfactory.

By this time we all know Angel can do no wrong! She is a master with a pen!
I originally read Blacklisted as apart of the Filthy Elites book collection but was so excited to re-read this masterpiece.

The story uncovers the darkest secrets of hazing when rushing fraternities and sororities at Whittmore University.
Blacklisted follows Reagan Lake whose goal is to rush and be join a sorority. However, Reagan ends up being played, duped, and laid to the slaughter by her sorority and boyfriend. Reagan was simply a game for their amusement, a means to an end, a hazing ritual.
As Reagan life is falling apart from the aftermath of being hazed and blacklisted, she has no choice but to pack her bags and leave the school. Before she could even get off campus she is offered an opportunity to go undercover and get all the dirt about hazing on campus. With sororities and fraternities already on their last strike, Reagan knows this is her only chance to get revenge.

This is a dark, steamy, twisted, must read by Angel!
10/10 would recommend!

I’ve read other dubious consent books by Lawson that were a lot hotter and felt more consent-y than this one. There’s little character development and there isn’t really any relationship development with Knox and Grayson. Miller more, because of how things went. Grayson doesn’t even have his own POV chapter.
I was entertained enough to finish reading the book, but did it really satisfy me? Not really. There’re some unanswered questions also: since when did Royer know? All the time or did Miller tell him? And how was his reaction towards Miller and Knox for knowing what they did?

I had the most trouble with how any girl can like guys who are into sneaking roofies into girls drinks. Like, what. The. Fuck? Knox admits in the epilogue that’s one of the things he liked so much about the fraternity! I like fucked up. Reading fucked up is very entertaining in a good written story. But in this book it was really rapey and I really have to wonder if this is a reflection of todays society. Yea, yea, I know, it’s fiction, I get that.

I enjoyed this book so much. Blacklisted was giving She's the Man vibes only the dark and depraved version, its centred around the darker side of rush week and the hazing that the fraternity and sorority put their pledges through.

Reagan has everything planned out, she's a legacy and has her sights set on one sorority only Gamma Epsilon, only on bid day her life takes nosedive when she becomes blacklisted by none other than her supposed boyfriend, who as it turns out was only with her as part of a sick game. Now it's her turn for revenge and what better way than to become a pledge and infiltrate their fraternity and take them down from the inside. As the saying goes hell have no fury like a woman scorned, and boy was Reagan scorned. I was on the edge of my seat every time it got close to her being exposed. I hope there will be more from this world, I kinda hope Janelle will get a book....

Dangerous

This short story was delicious, dangerous, and dark. It starts off with the main fmc (Reagan) getting pranked by her jerk-of-a-boyfriend. Ending her dreams of, not only the sorority that she wants, but getting blacklisted completely. This leads her to Grayson and the road to vengeance.

The plan is to take Royer and Andrea down, but Miller finds out what's she's up to. And he's what really makes this story work. The author does such a great job if keeping you guessing if he's on her side of not. Add in Grayson and Knox and you're not sure who she can trust or if this is just a bigger game that they're playing, where she's the ultimate loser.

Great back and forth between the characters. This story is told from multiple points of view and there is plenty of spice. There are some dark themes in this story so use caution if you're sensitive to them. Overall this was a really entertaining story.

If you haven't given Angel Lawson a chance, here's your opportunity to dive into her dark mind without a serious commitment to a thick book or a series.

This is one of those books that will have you doubting trust and where loyalties lie.

Reagan, our heroine begins her journey in college with only one goal, to join her legacy sorority. Unfortunately, her situation implodes and is done with purpose.

This book is really the story of Reagan and her personal growth. She endures so many obstacles and challenges, yet exceeds in every one.

Even though this is a short book, it packs a punch and gives you plenty of character growth and an interesting storyline that will leave you nail-biting until the end.

The only thing I didn't like? The book ended and I just wanted more. Read the CW/TW.

Quick and Naughty Read 🥵

Reagan is upset her boyfriend broke up with her and was cheating on her the whole time. The fraternity is out of control and has blacklisted her.
Knox and Miller are currently leading the frat and have their own agendas. Both can be entitled and douchey. They are touchy. It’s one of the ways they manipulate. Most females turn to mush around them. They are trouble, dark and dangerous.
Grayson is older and a former member, he hatched the perfect plan to take the fraternity down, he just needs Reagan’s help.

I loved how Reagan has a first intimate experience with Miller even though she’s not a virgin. You get right into the story and steamy scenes 🥵 Each character complements the other perfectly and leaves me wanting more from this world ♥️

If this story is familiar it was originally in the Filthy Elites Anthology.

Another great story from Angel! 🤌

Not gonna lie, when I started the book I was rolling my eyes so hard at the FMC, Reagan! Definitely wasn't rooting for her. 🤣 Thankfully, Angel is awesome with character development and we get to see a lot of growth... or rather, breaking down which led to revealing who Reagan is below the perfectly styled hair, outfits and fake personality. 💅

While I would love more from these characters, I was satisfied with the ending and enjoyed the quick read! 📚 I tend to lean toward series, and it was refreshing to get the whole story in one book. The twists had me like, 😱, but in the best way!

Now I'm just gonna sit here, "patiently" waiting for the next Princes book to be released! 😂 (If you are a dark romance lover and haven't started the Forsyth U world, yet, get on that!)

Over the top vengeful

I enjoyed the book, but it seemed a little unrealistic. Really, what college frat boy legacy would waste that much time with a high schooler. And how & why did he hook up with her to begin with? How did Reagan get on Andrea’s radar to begin with? There should have been much more backstory to make it even vaguely understandable.
And the plot and bullying…I mean talk about a long con. What college kids would spend that much time on a vengeful prank?
And even if Royer was the biggest d**che in the world, it seems far-fetched that members of his own frat would turn against him like that. And then how could members of a frat with a lost charter be allowed to head up a new house/group? Miller and Knox’s “relationships” with Reagan were unlikely enough, but Grayson’s was really pushing it. Just too unrealistic.
Just not my favorite book.

Book: Blacklisted
Read By: Ebook
Author: Angel Lawson
Genre: Reverse Harem, Dark Romance
Recommend: Yes
Spice:🌶️️🌶️️🌶️️
< b>Age recommendation: 18-30+ Years
My feelings:

Oh sweet baby Jesus…
If you have rad this then you understand what I mean when i say I spend the whole time screaming at the book! I didn't want her to get caught, and I didn't want her to fail!

and fuck no, is anyone putting their cock near my girl without my permission. She’s mine.

The boys were sexy as and had my interest from the second it started! But the storyline was so good!

I catch Reagan’s eye, knowing whatever apologies, excuses, or bullshit I want to give her is never going to happen. I meant what I said: I’m never going to hurt Reagan Lake again.

Highly recommend!

Twelfth Night but make it collegiate dark revenge romance. Reagan is blacklisted from Greek life by her ex and his gf (she was the other woman all along) but is approached to go undercover as a man to rush her ex’s frat.

I love this trope and you never see it.

Okay, I love Angel but this book was a mess. Not to spoil anything but two of the relationships the ball was just dropped on. There should’ve been a whole other book giving us her relationships with these men.

Listen. If this is your first Angel book, don’t despair. This is an anomaly. This woman normally writes my favorite romance series but she must have been going through something when she wrote this.

Slow burn with exhibitionism and anal.
