Seeking Stalking is a whole new reading experience, That I, for one, am wholly stoked about,
June puts an ad in her local newspaper for seeking a stalker and catches Rhett's attention. But not just his attention, more of an obsession. June is far from naive and with a horrific back story. Their journey is a roll coaster of twists, turns, emotion, spice, and darkness.
I feel my review will not do this book justice. I was captivated by the first paragraph and knew I was in for a unique take on a stalking romance.
The book is Hot A.F. The chemistry is a scorcher between the two. Honestly, have extra knickers on hand.
On top of the spice is a fantastic plot. The author writes outside the box, and I, for one, greatly appreciate it and makes for a much more reading experience. If you read any of my dark romance recommendations, you will love this one. It’s a must-read book.

From the moment you crack open this story you’ll be immersed in a world where tantalizing exploration of darker desires meets danger and the irresistible pull of obsession.
Our FMC June, while on her own journey to healing from a traumatic past, is a woman who is unafraid to embrace the unconventional and dangerous in seeking out a stalker by placing an ad to the local paper. Her desire for the thrill of being watched and of being rescued from the shadows is something I found easily relatable.
As the story unfolds, revenge becomes a potent elixir, it provides the comfort that only a dark romance can give you. Its dark, its twisted, its healing, its spicy, I loved it all.

This is how a stalker romance should be done. Rhett’s allure and his deliciously dark, twisted affection is utterly captivating.

I delightfully devoured every page, I find myself wanting more – more of Rhett, more of his enigmatic past, and more of his toxic yet irresistible nature.
“And I’ll never stop. I’ll consume you. I’ll smother you with a love so toxic and poisonous that every part of you will die. You’ll exist for only me. Why? Because that’s the way I feel about you. Why should I be the only one to suffer this madness? Perhaps I should make you endure this torment with me.”
His possessiveness and obsession is something I THROUGHLY enjoyed in his character and he fully scratched the stalker itch unlike other stalker romances that have, quite frankly, put me off reading the stalker subgenre, this one delivered!
"I’m not a good man, but I’d be good to you."
This was a guilty pleasure read that delves into the dark corners of the human psyche while also offering solace and catharsis in equal measure.
If you enjoy stalker romances with spice, OTT MMC’s, where the villain gets the girl, you get the sweet taste of revenge and choose to also surrender yourself to its allure, you won't regret a single moment. 4.75 stars from me!

After leaving a very toxic relationship, June moves to Boston to start over. But June has needs that not just anyone can fill. Who knew that a little ad in the paper would change her whole reality.

You will literally need a cold shower after this one! It’s by far one of the spiciest Alaska Angelini’s book. Per usual she delivers in story/plot and steamy scenes. Where can I find myself my own Rhett?

This dark romance is SPICY! I don't think Alaska has ever been THIS spicy before, and I love it! Dark, stalker erotica is one of my favorites, and this book is done right. Rhett is swoonworthy, ever the intrusive Alpha, sexy, and voyeuristic. I love him. It's explicit and graphic with some action thrown in. I love it when June... take things into her own hands. It's so good.

I felt the Alaska version was more fleshed out than the AA dark version for our couple. I am always going to prefer the pitch black or oblivion read but I finished both books in 24 hrs. I love the concept of choose your own adventure and I definitely got the two stories and enjoyed the differing perspectives of the characters. The character building was more focused on June in this version where Rhett is in the AA Dark version.
I think reading only one version without the other is a disservice to the characters but they can be read alone and still get the jest. Both have positives and problems but I appreciate the attempt.

I received an ARC and these are my unbiased opinions
First off, I love Alaska. I’m most familiar with her other pen name A.A. Dark where she writes horror and I am completely obsessed with how her brain works!
She introduced this book as a “pick your own ending” where if you received the Combo Book, both stories were the same until you hit chapter 9 where you then could choose either the “Alaska version” (dark romance) or “AA Dark version” (horror/horror romance).
I read the AA Dark version first and was completely blown away. It was an easy 5 stars. So after finishing I went back a week later to read the dark romance version and to clarify this is my first dark romance I’ve read by her. I was extremely invested and was loving everything until around chapter 12/13 where it all just kind of fizzled out for me. I felt like there was a lot of unused potential for this and build up to keep a sense of enthrallment but the ending was anti-climatic. I’m not sure if it’s bc I’m so used to the psychological twists and turns she has in her horror books but I ended up skimming most of the last couple chapters due to boredom.
I will say I really liked the female rage and revenge the FMC got on a certain someone and she “saved herself” in a way but if I had to pick my fav version it would definitely be her AA Dark one!

I can’t explain how amazing this story were….
I don’t even know where to start…. The chemistry was off the charts. The characters were well developed and interesting. The spice level was second to none, and the darkness was just right. Everything that happened worked to further the story and was not added, for the sake of titillation or shock value, and they was extremely well written.
As for the MMC Rhett…. He was perfect. Strong, decisive, obsessive and Hot AF. The MFC was also strong, not a doormat and very much well developed. I was able to understand her decisions and empathize with her, and unlike a lot of other books, didn’t read her exploits wondering why she acted as she did.
If you read anything this year, make it Seeking Stalker… you won’t be disappointed

5 stars, this book made me so happy!
I finished it in one day, I just couldn’t stop reading. The story was so intriguing from the beginning, the fmc wasn’t shy, she knew exactly what she wanted. Rhett and June talked with each other, I loved it so much.
Normally I totally dislike any pregnancy tropes or talks about “I want to see your swollen belly” but this time.. it’s the first time It just felt right.
I thought I could read the AA Dark version right after it. But how? The story was so perfect, how can I dive in the book with the same characters but another story?

Rhett Rivera seemed like the perfect obsession at first, but secrets, buried history, and shifting truths turned the story into something far more unsettling. The tension kept me hooked, even when the darkness pushed past my comfort zone at times.

Alaska has done it again!
The Alaska Angelini version of Seeking Stalker was absolutely amazing! This whole story gave me Slade vibes (captive to the dark series). I was swooning equally for June and Rhett. This story was everything I wanted in an Alaska book and I was fed. I'm always down for donuts and murder.

I like this author and her books. Not so much this one. For me it was rushed. There wasn't character development. I just found the book lacking.

This is honestly the sexiest book I’ve ever read!!! This got me so hot under the collar 🤭 I loved the characters! The plot twists! I also love the concept that she’s written this two more times as a switch in story line!!! I look forward to reading the other two versions!!

I am so head over heels in LUST, LOVE, OBSESSION with this book!!!!!!!!!!! I have loved every single AA Dark book I have ever read so I thought to myself I would love to try an Alaska Angelini story to see if it gave me those same type of feelings and let me tell you right now, ALL THE BUTTERFLIES!!!!!!!
June and Rhett were EVERYTHING I could want and more in a couple. This story had me not only on the edge of my seat, biting my nails wondering what would happen, but it also had me DROOLING ALL OVER MYSELF. Rhett is one sexy motherfluffer. Rich ceo, mysterious, possessive, takes what he wants and he makes sure that he is pleasing his woman in the process.
"I’ll consume you. I’ll smother you with a love so toxic and poisonous that every part of you will die. You’ll exist for only me. Why? Because that’s the way I feel about you. Why should I be the only one to suffer this madness?"
The way Rhett literally DID consume June took me completely out. I couldnt even wear panties while reading. Actually, let me put a warning label on this. WARNING: DO NOT WEAR UNDERWEAR WHILE READING THIS BOOK. THEY WILL BE RUINED. But okay, back to daddy Rhett. June's Monster. The moment he laid eyes on her it was over. She belonged to him and there was nobody that was going to get in his way.

Then we have the future Mrs Rivera. June. I LOVE THIS WOMAN. She knew from the beginning what she wanted and she wanted to be hunted. She loved the thrill of knowing there was a man around the corner staring at her just waiting to throw her against the wall and take her clothes off. And SHE GOT HER WISH!! And it wasnt just ANY MAN. She got THE man. But it wasnt as easy as she wanted. You see, she put in an ad in the paper for just this very thing. And she got more than she bargained for. That is all I will say because you NEED to read this book!!!!
But before I am even done I need to say this isn't where the story ends!!!!!! Alaska Angelini has done something nobody else has ever done before. There are THREE Seeking Stalker books but they are essentially the same story. This one by Alaska Angelini that is a dark romance, then Seeking Stalker by AA Dark which is the SAME STORY in the first 8 chapters but the story changes in that book after that!!!! It has the same story, same main characters but...DIFFERENT story after the first 8 chapters!! Much darker!!!. OH MY GOSH COOL RIGHT?!?! But that isn't even the end. Because there is a THIRD Seeking Stalker by both Alaska Angelini/AA Dark that has both stories, a combination!!!!! UGHHHHH THIS IS AMAZING AND MY MIND IS JUST EXPLODING!!!!
"Now that I have you to myself, I think I’ll keep you for a while.”---I AM SO IN INFATUATION WITH THIS SERIES AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE!!!!

Y’all — the steam does not end. Like. From the beginning all the way until the end where we get their Hea! June only has one fantasy she longed to fulfill — a stàlkèr. Laced with danger and everything else. Only to place an ad in the paper with no precise details: a time, date and location.
Rhett? He’s just the right man — unable to get June out of his head once his eyes fall upon her. However, he’s not the only one who’s got her in their sights.
Rhett is a marvelous mmc who’s ruthless and strong enough to do just about anything for those he cares for. The first few scenes are ahem. In publïc. If you catch my drift. But June. By the end she is a firecracker and just as ruthless as Rhett is. I really loved seeing June develop and grow into a woman with a fierce backbone, which Alaska is mighty good at doing within her writing that has simply continued to bloom.

Rhett? He’s just the right man — unable to get June out of his head once his eyes fall upon her. However, he’s not the only one who’s got her in their sights.
Rhett is a marvelous mmc who’s ruthless and strong enough to do just about anything for those he cares for. The first few scenes are ahem. In publïc. If you catch my drift. But June. By the end she is a firecracker and just as ruthless as Rhett is. I really loved seeing June develop and grow into a woman with a fierce backbone, which Alaska is mighty good at doing within her writing that has simply continued to bloom.

The chemistry between these two characters are undeniably super Hott and sexy. It’s about a fantasy that some may not think of but the rest of us fantasize about Rhett!! I lived vicariously through June and I fell in love. Be warned you will fall madly in love with June and Rhett. Happy Reading!!
