Really excellent. I liked this one even better than the first volume. There is a lot that could be explored starting from the original premise of humans and replicas and this book does exactly that. I've seen a lot of reviews that describe the writing as "quiet" and that is a pretty apt description, but underneath there is a great deal of raw emotions like love and anxiety and fear boiling underneath that quietness.
I am once again surprised by the author not being afraid to shy away from the tough, heavy issues that could naturally arise from the existence of replicas. I'm glad the author continued to explore them in this volume. I'm absolutely hooked on the story and characters now and look forward to future volumes.
