This is a fun book about different aspects of owning a dog, but it is being told from the perspective of a dog. I am not a nonfiction person; I don’t read it like ever and usually I only make it part way through before I stop reading. I actually really enjoyed this book, I have had dogs my entire life and really love them so having a short book on something that I like really helped. This book is for anyone who is interested in dogs. It talks about different things to look out for when choosing a “human”, to training suggestions, and so much more. This is a really short book that is very to the point. I found it funny because it is being told from a dog's point of view. I give this book a four out of five.

A very fun read. Apparently my dogs have also read this book, because I recognize many of the training techniques that they have been using on me!

A delightful, funny and entertaining book "written" by a dog. He talks about the life he lives among humans and relates right on characterizations of people he knows. Really funny too!

Good for someone who doesn't know dogs to learn about some basic body language, however presented in a way meant to be humorous and ends up coming across as mildly demeaning. Not engaging enough to keep me awake.

My dad bought me this book when he found out I was getting a service dog named Widget. He's a chocolate lab! So when my dad saw this book he immediately had to buy it, read and, and then my mom read it and now it's in my possession! It's a great book! Funny as heck.

It's definitely a must read for your canine pet (or pet to be!)

It talks about how to choose your human, how to get food from your human, tips about cats! There is basic training for the human and so forth!

I have learned lots from this book and had many laughs!

Go on and read it! I dare you!

Quick and cute read. As a dog guardian, I did not like the condoning of dogs riding in a vehicle driver's lap and not mentioning the wearing of a pet safety harness. If the dog/author is concerned with the safety of it's human's and it's own safety... it was not mentioned.

And of course the issue of ownership versus guardianship arose when the dog mentioned owning a human.

Funny, but didn't really have any helpful info. I was expecting a little bit of useful info about training dogs, but it's really just more of a humor book. There were a couple times I laughed out loud.

This was a very delightful read. Told from the dogs point of view on owning and training humans. I don't think you have to be a dog owner to read this book.
