It was a lovely way to wrap up their story. I can see why the author split it into two books.
So if you are in the mood for a very very smutty MMF romance WITHOUT a third act break up 👀 go read this ❤️

Not as good as the first
I loved the first book, it was captivating, funny, spicy, I truly loved every second of it so when I saw this pop up in my inbox on release day I was so excited to finally read it. We follow on with our FMC Cora and her MMC’s Marco and Jay. You need to have read book 1 to read this book. While I love the relationship between the three I didn’t love this book. I felt like there was no real plot to the story, I know the FMC Cora needed the growth and therapy to overcome what she had suffered in her past marriage but I felt like there was too much emphasis on therapy, being listened to, to the point I almost forgot about the lawsuit and by the time it came to its court date I wasn’t even paying attention.
I loved the flashbacks to Marco’s and Jay relationship, that sold the book for me and had it been more than and the lawsuit rather than just heavily on Cora’s constant thanks of therapy I think I would have enjoyed it more.
I think as a person who believes in therapy but also used to strapping on big girl panties and getting on with life maybe that’s why I felt a slight disconnect with this book.
It’s definitely spicy and I love Marco and Jay so the book is definitely worth a read for them alone!

I love a cute cover that hides a dirty secret and that's exactly what this book is. Dirty! But it also has such sweet elements as well and just positive vibes, "And good girls go to therapy" what do you think is happening during this sentence? I bet you what you thought is happening isn't because I was shocked but also thinking, "you know with this kind of motivation, I think everyone would be leading better well adjusted lives" I absolutely loved this throuple. They have built such a wonderful life together and support each other so well. The beginning of the book, definitely read the trigger warnings, that dealt with infant loss were so sweet to read and I think really done beautifully because it showed the ups and downs of guilt, grief, and loss. I haven't dealt with infant loss but I have dealt with parent loss and there are so many days and times when you're having a good day, finally, and ypu realize it's an anniversary or a birthday and you almost forgot and then you're wracked with guilt and grief. I've started looking at it as if the person who passed granted you with a good day to celebrate the loss and I feel like sometimes that's what gets you through and sometimes you just need a good deep cry.
There was a lot of time jumping which isn't my favorite just because I sometimes don't look at the chapter titles but other than that I really liked this book

I had the absolute honor of receiving this book as an arc, despite my late review, this book was amazing. I didn’t know what to expect coming into this and honestly went in blind aside from knowing this would tug at my heart strings and boy did it. It was so beautiful. I have become so attached to this trio and seeing what the flower bloomed originally and how was so wonderful. I’m such a fan of the author and their writing style. It’s clear the care that was put into this book especially and it’s so appreciated. Thank you so much for allowing me to read and review this book! I can’t wait to rave about it. 🥰

I have been waiting for this book for months and I’m very pleased to tell you it did not disappoint! I absolutely loved getting to know Jay, Marco and Cora even better. The emotions in this book are beautifully written and it had me both crying and laughing (sometimes at the same time). Definitely recommend reading!

Loved this. I was excited to see how Jay and Marcos relationship formed. Marcos van be pretty intense at times but love how he cares for his partners. I absolutely love Cora. She overcame her insecurities and accepted the help she needed to get through her grief and depression. Love how Jay and Marco were there to help her.

I have to say this whole story was heartwarming and sexy in the best possible way. I loved the character complexities and the deep-dive into Jay and Marco's relationship. They're so freaking sweet to Cora. Sigh! They're what dreams are made of.

I liked this one much more than the first book but I think that was because you learn more about Jay and Marco’s history (tbh I would’ve loved a book just about them rather than a few flashbacks)
I appreciated that the characters had more conversations about what they wanted their life to look like and actually dealing with their emotions but there felt like too many loose ends that needed to be tied up here. I feel like one big book instead of two would’ve made me like it more
just like the last book, the spice was okay but just not my jam. I’m sure there are people who loved it!

This is a continuation of a cliffhanger of book 1. Jay and Marco have a lot of care to give because Cora is deep in a depressive state and wallowing in grief. Here is where intimacy overruled any sexy time and I think setting the foundation with communication from kink came in clutch. Again, Jay was the ringleader in putting his partner's needs first, which could have gone south quickly. But Cora's stubbornness and independence made their interaction less predictable. There was a level of vulnerability that had to occur again. There's still a lot of external factors and the dual timeline of how Marco and Jay ended up together. A bi-awakening friend to lovers. Marco's self-imposed isolation made him a great candidate for social butterfly Jay to come in and befriend him. And the Cora just changed the trajectory slightly. One thing I'm not sure I understand is they work as a throuple but they don't really interact outside of their unit. It's either all 3 of them or Jay and Marco or Cora and Jay seems a bit if Jay wasn't in the mix they might fall apart. Other than that a lot of ground was covered and all the loose ends were tied up. The lawsuit was resolved, their relationship status was resolved, and even bits of their PTSD flashbacks. It could have been another book to give some of the topics more room to breathe. Regardless I cried, laughed, and blushed with these 3 and enjoyed their relationship.

Okay, so I'm going to review this duet together because reading one of these necessitates reading the other...and you definitely should read them!
Cora is a divorcee struggling to stay afloat amidst her mental health and professional challenges. She and Jay have a one night stand early on, after which she ghosts him. Jay, finds love with his best friend, but never forgets about Cora. Two years later, Jay appears in Cora's board room as her new director of HR. The two reconnect as friends and Jay suggests she take some time for herself and schedules her a massage. Lo and behold, Cora's masseur is Marco, Jay's significant other. During the massage, Marco discovers Cora's need for pain and quickly falls for the curvy CEO. The three embark on a journey of exploration together and fall fast and hard for one another.
The chemistry between these three was insanely sexy. Sloan Spencer can WRITE these scenes! (See also: 'Every Version of You'). On top of that though, we see the complexities of Cora, Jay, and Marco as individuals and as a unit. Marco's struggles with PTSD following his time in the military, Jay's need to establish his own cultural identity (this one hit home in a big way for me), and Cora's struggle with depression following her miscarriage and former marriage. The way these three showed up for one another had me tearing up consistently.
I cannot recommend this duet enough. If you're looking for books that will stick with you, imprint on you, and leave you with a serious reading hangover, look no further. I will forever read anything Spencer writes.

wow. just wow. i didn’t think that this series could get any better. the way this book flows so smoothly from the first. i am not usually a fan of cliff hanger endings but this second book has been worth the wait. i am truly in love with these three characters and would be lucky to find even half the love i read on the page in real life. the way that Marco and Jay support Cora is so beautiful and well written. the love they have for one another and then the love they create as a throuple is just so perfect. the plus sized representation was incredible. it is so refreshing to hear male characters talk positively about a plus sized FMC and it is so 🌶️🌶️🌶️
i am obsessed with watching Marco and Jays love story unfold it was amazing to get those little sneak peaks as they were being told to Cora. the inclusivity in this book with gender identity and the topic of Jays Korean heritage and the adoption storyline were so perfectly handled. I loved the mental health representations and therapy conversations felt so realistic.
i would 10/10 recommend this book to anyone looking for a heartwarming and spicy story with the perfect HEA.

More like 3.5 stars. Everything was too perfect(?) I missed some kind of conflict in general, no third act break-up thanks, pero sin algun obstaculo realista que causara friccion. Porque si hay obstaculos, como el miscarrage de Cora y lo ello supone para su relacion, y me gusto como se approcheo y se gestiono. Just me hubiera gustado algo mas de tea. Guay ver como Jay se interesa por su identidad y por las oportunidades de conocer a si mismo que eIlo implica; y tambn me gusto ver el lado de veterano de Marco. Siento que su personaje no estaba tan desarrolado en general, ni tampoco su relacion con Cora. Me hubiera gustado ver mas conexiones entre ellos tho. I loved el personaje de Cora en general, bc she was so confortable in her own skin que traspasaba las pags, y como they only uplifted her. We love the simping.

Our chests lift and fall in sync with one another, and I can feel Jay’s doing the same behind me. Breathing as one—and that’s exactly what I need. I need someone else to breathe for me.
I really enjoyed the sequel, "Structural Support". It picks up directly after the events of the first book. It was almost a five-star read for me, but I felt it lacked some conflict. On the positive side, I loved that the author delved into Jay and Marco’s backstories—that’s what kept the story engaging. This book is heavily character-driven, which worked well for the narrative.
Jay is as sweet as ever, and it was heartwarming to see him reconnect with his cultural roots, with support from both Marco and Cora. The ongoing legal case was an intriguing subplot, though I’ll admit I felt a bit lost at times trying to follow it. Another standout element was the book's focus on mental health, which was handled with maturity and depth.
That said, I’m not sure the story really needed to be split into two books. I think a single, 400-page novel could have done the job just as effectively. Still, I enjoyed the experience overall and appreciated the journey it took me on.

Jay & Marco & Cora…. Part 2 of their story… I LOVEDDD this story! It’s literally perfect when paired with book 1 I literally have no notes!! The love and bond these three share literally makes me want to run out and find Jay and Marco in real life! I love this thruple’s love!! What I love even more about these books is they act like freaking ADULTS! So many romance books play on jealousy or one of the characters being fairly toxic or cheating etc.. there was NO CONFLICT among the main characters! They communicated like adults!! But nooo the books weren’t boring I’m actually so damn sad I can’t just read about them until they are 100 years old!! Their family and friends all accept them, Marco discovers his sexuality and just accepts it and never struggled with it, Cora immediately doesn’t care about them being bisexual or having two partners, and I love Daya and their addition to the story! I think my absolute favorite part of this book over the first book is the flashbacks with Jay and Marco and their love story omg they are both such golden retrievers and I couldn’t love it anymore! They give meaning to bromance ❤️❤️

These men. THESE MEN. They set the mold. They are leading the way to show alllllll other men how to treat a woman. They love and care for Cora so much, they had me swooning multiple times!!
This book also gives us the backstory of Jay and Marco. When we met them in book 1, they were already an established couple. Here, we get to see how that came to be and god, it was beautiful. 🥹
The spice in this book is SPICIN!! Oh my gosh. I…. I just… 🫠🫠🫠. It’ll melt you it’s so hot. Marco is the Sir, Jay is the Prince and Cora is their princess. This is BDSM and Dom/sub done SOOO SO right 🫶🏼.
This duet is so well thought out and written. You can tell Sloan put her heart and soul into this! There’s so much respect and love, but equal parts dirty dirty spice.

This was a cute story. To me, Cora, Jay and Marco’s love story felt realistic.
I love getting to go back in time and see how Marco and Jay’s love story started. The way their friendship started and how their love developed. Jay really tortured himself waiting for Marco to catch up and boy was it worth it. That sexting scene!!! Boy oh boy was that hot. And we can’t forget about their first time together! Hot! Hot hot!! Even though Marco had never been with a man he knew that Jay was his person and he didn’t hesitate to show that!
Now back to the present… Marco and Jay are such a great support system. The way the love and encourage her! The always re-assured her that they were there for her no matter what. When she Dommed Marco! Ha! So good, she edged him so hard.
I also loved how both Marco and Cora supported Jay’s desire to learn about his culture!
Lastly, pregnancy and babies! The pregnancy sex scene so sexy! Dalton and the twins, Jade and Esmeralda.

All the feels. Every single one
This journey was guna be a heavy one based on the first books ending and whew was it. Right off the bat, her grief hits you in crushing waves! Sloan did such an amazing job representing the all consuming despair grief dishes out.. and just when you're crying along side Cora, those 2 beautiful men pull you out of the pit. The reprieve those 2 provide is the perfect mix of letting the sadness stand but not letting it consume you. One moment you're crying and then next you're swooning 🥵🥵🥵🥵 and then you're laughing and then you're crying and then you're filled with pride and then hurt and back to swooning 🥵🥵🥵 and then crying. All.the.feels! This book was an amazing conclusion to a beautiful story 🥹❤️❤️ if you've read the first book then the trigger warnings should be known but just in case, read them 🙃

What a sweet story!
I wasn’t sure I was going to love the two timelines, but they ended up blending seemlesslt, in a way that made you want more of both time periods.
I loved the relationships of the characters continuing to develop, and how things ironed themselves out.
I think at certain points I was looking for a bit more angst or plot. It felt a little one dimensional compared to the first book. However I FULLY recognize that this book was much more cerebral and emotional based than the first.
As someone who works in mental health, reading about the struggles of all 3 characters, and how they came to face it was so uplifting and realistic. I loved how supportive they are of each other, and how ready they are to go to battle.
I did read this book as an ARC, and I can say it did NOT disappoint.
I am eagerly waiting for Sloane’s next book!

I loved getting to read Jay and Marco’s love story (even though I was definitely yelling at Marco to hurry up and figure out his feelings). It is definitely a slow burn friends to lovers but when he does figure it out, be prepared… 👨🏽❤️💋👨🏻

Writing a review the second I finish a book is usually fine, but sometimes the story and the ending is so amazing that I can't stop the tears. And this one got me in he feels real good. Just the sweetest story, and I loved it more than I can describe.
The best part was getting to see the flashbacks of Marco and Jay's relationship starting. Like truly starting. It brought me so much happiness to get to read all about their beginning.
How in the world do you balance a beautiful story like this and still make it the smuttiest kinkiest book of the month? Witchcraft, that's how!!! No other possibility. It was perfectly executed, and I had the best time reading. Will be on my recommendation list for everybody in book club.

How in the world do you balance a beautiful story like this and still make it the smuttiest kinkiest book of the month? Witchcraft, that's how!!! No other possibility. It was perfectly executed, and I had the best time reading. Will be on my recommendation list for everybody in book club.

I am glad I read the synopsis for STRUCTURAL SUPPORT (yes, I admit I often skit it esp for sequels) and skimmed a few reviews. It helped be prepare for the dual timeline of present day Cora, Jay, and Maro picking up right where we left off, and flashbacks to how Jay and Marco fell in love. I felt myself becoming more invested in the flashback chapters for the drama of friends discovering/resisting/enduring their attraction to each other. Cora and Jay drove most of the present time chapters resolving open threads left from from the previous book. Overall, I loved the balance in the storytelling taking us from deep personal breakthroughs to freeing explorations of sexual desires. Regarding the trio of narrators, they captured the hot and heartfelt energy of Cora, Jay, and Marco perfectly. It was so easy to fall into their character voices.

I was thinking to myself at the end of the last one that I wanted to know the story between Jay and Marco and yay my request was granted. I loved the flashbacks to their love story seamlessly woven into the present. Their growth together as individuals and a couple was fun to read. Jay’s culture and support from both Cora and Marco was lovely and supportive. My only gripe was the shortness of the scene with Jay’s parents. I felt like I didn’t get that much remorse in comparison to the vitriol in the first book, especially from his mom. And also, personally, there was a bit more of sex that I’d prefer in the smut to plot ratio but overall I loved this duet and will definitely checking out this author again!

February 15, 2025im gonna be honest and say that i didnt have a strong connection to jay and marcos relationship until cora joined them but FUCK when i got to this book and saw how their friendship grew into such a beautiful relationship it made me tear up. i love how spencer never forgot to mention cora when we were in the flashback, it just made eveything feel so much more real. i love how these three were the most amazing people people ever and the best support system i think ive ever read, encouraging cora to go to therapy but not forcing it on her was amazing, like they just knew what and how to say things so beautifully and i wish i was their friend :’). i so badly want to read raf and angies book again but im so excited for robyn and her boys!!!

This is a good contunuation of the story from book 1, and I think we get a lot more depth on the heavier subjects - Jay's connection to his Korean heritage, Marco's PTSD, Cora's miscarriage and the lawsuit at the architecture firm. This book does a great job of giving us more context on each thread and building the characters and plot as we explore them.
I wasn't expecting to like the flashbacks to Jay and Marco getting together, but the author did a great job of building their friendship and romance over a long period of time. This was really engaging and I really liked seeing how they came to be!
The sex scenes also felt like they added more to the plot this time around. Still as spicy as before but there were more threads to character developement, which I loved!

Would have finished the book sooner if I didn’t have to work lmao. You have to read Structural Damage before this one. It picks up right where SD leaves off.
I really loved hearing more about Jay and Marco’s backstory. The way I was being edged was insane. The book does a great job tying up loose ends. From the court issue, to Theo, to how everyone came connecting together, it left no leaf unturned. It even brought me and my spouse closer together - to say, instead of relying on ourselves when we are stressed, let’s lean on each other.
Overall, this book is so goddamn hot and spicy and kinky and funny and wholesome!

I was so upset when I read the ending of the first book. I didn’t even realize it was a cliffhanger until I saw the acknowledgments. But this book redeemed itself. I loved it so much.
Cora, Jay, and Marco were made for each other!! I loved how everything ended. The lawsuit, the therapy, the family!! I think the thing I loved the most was the background of Jay and Marco’s whole relationship. It was so adorable. And I didn’t know I needed it until I read the first chapter. And the family dynamic we saw at the end. My lord, my heart was warming!!!

Damn Ms. Sloan can write some diabolical spice. The first book in this duet really hooked you in with d$ck, but this second book goes deeper, exploring each character and all their baggage, while still giving that diabolical spice. I am completely obsessed with these MMCs’ arcs;Jay’s Korean identity and Marco’s bi-awakening. Cora’s is really burnt out. Between caring for mom with Alzheimer’s, lawsuit, and miscarriage, ya girl needs a break. And these MMCs just step up and deliver. Getting ‘rewarded’ for going to therapy? Hot. Yes. Sign me up.

I begrudgingly finished these two books but gawd it was hard. First the company is being sued but the CEO is having an affair with head of HR and no one sees this as a problem? Second - she is being sued civilly but there is NO legal understanding of what that entails and the courtroom scenes involve criminal charges - not civil liability and regardless - the prosecutor calls the defendant to the stand. The black holes in the plot, the failure to do basic research is appalling. Are the spice scenes good - meh - and the relationship is so over the top HEA and needlessly drawn out - do not recommend. Train wreck start to finish.
