Andros listens to the song of Orpheus, and the ache in his joints eases; the cold leaves his fingertips. This is what makes him get up in the darkness, summer or winter, rain or mist ... the song. In this soul he feels young again.

A Greek family charged with keeping Orpheus's head safe, is diligently doing their duty still. And Delirium wants to find her brother, Destruction, again. She asks Desire, who turns her down. Then Despair ... who, well ... interesting. Where is this going? Time for the next issue.

Very happy to come back to the mainstream plots surrounding Dream and his family members. Listened to the audio-experience Audible Act 3 which encompasses Volumes 7-8 (Brief Lives and Worlds' End)[1], the Sandman Special #1, and other short stories from Vertigo: Winter's Edge #1 & #3 and Vertigo Preview #1.

Looking forward to more backstories and "day in the lives" for other family members such as Desire, and Despair as we've seen with Dream and Death.

Viel, viel Text und wenig Handlung. Was bei Gaiman aufgrund seiner oftmals lyrischen Schreibweise oft funktioniert, bleibt hier etwas zäh.

I already know Desire had something to do with Destruction leaving.

Seems like things aren't going well with delirium, this can't be good.

And... we're back to more engaging tales of substance. Delirium, little sister of Morpheus, embarks on a quest. We also, at long last, discover who the mysterious 7th sibling is.
