This is a very generous 4 stars for me as I was waffling between 3 and 4 but I did really enjoy this book and it was right up my alley. That’s not to say there wasn’t things that could have been improved - for one, an editor was really needed, and I do also wish it was longer and more fleshed out so we could have gotten a better epilogue of them more in the future - but I did love the characters and the story itself.

Nice

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were protective of each other. This was a different kind of mafia book. No real fighting against other families. Only power struggle between man and wife.

mafia at its best

First great book. The chemistry between Ethan and Sabrina was great, they had their challenges and fighting their true feelings sometimes put them at opposite ends. Lots of drama, steamy scenes and an emotional roller coaster. Great read and great book.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. I thought this was going to be cheap cheesy smut, and sure there was some of that, but this actually hooked me in. Tropes are tropes for a reason, they're good. This is no exception, I really couldn't put this down.

It was a great book. I didn't realize I was getting close to finishing the book till I read the last words and was instantly upset. I went to look for the next book in the series as soon as I finished. Not going to give away any spoilers other than it ends with a cliff hanger and will probably make you mad and wanting to read the next book even more.

Adored this very sexy book from the get go. Sabrina is caught spying on gorgeous Ethan, the new mafia don. He chooses to marry her rather than kill her now, but as things heat up, Ethan realises that killing her isn't on his radar.

Love Teshco's books. She never disappoints.

Mel Teshco made reading about shady characters intriguing. As much as I enjoy Teshco’s books, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about a mafia book but the story is engaging from the get go. Two people who are caught up in the family business. There’s no way to escape and in this world weakness is something they can’t afford.

An enemies to lovers story - sizzling scenes and growing emotions. Book 2 here I come.

I loved this book because of how it showed us true enemies to lovers due to the family being rivals and having Ethan stand up to his dad regarding Sabrina and prove his love for her was the best
