Highborn alpha Christophe Luna carries a pawprint-shaped birthmark prophesied to belong to the wolf he’s fated to mate. After years of searching, Christophe has just about given up on the idea that fate could be real until the day he sees the bloody paw print that matches his fated mate mark. The only problem is who that print belongs to—Mason Arkentooth, the outlaw omega with a hatred for anyone highborn, who was caught breaking into the Luna mansion.
The powerful attraction he feels towards Mason is undeniable, but to have a lowborn omega bear his children would be a disgrace to his family name. When he risks his family’s reputation by bailing Mason out of prison, will Christophe learn that fated mates are just fantasy? After all, a lowborn criminal and a highborn heir could never actually fall in love… could they?

Unfortunately, this is my least favorite book in the series. I wanted to love this so much because I loved the first and the second books in this series a lot but I just can’t. 😒 It was very cliché alpha/omega verse with very little plot going on. 😑
Let me brief you what happens in this novel. First of all, both MCs do not have any distinct personality traits. Christophe is bored and fed up of his stressful lifestyle and craving for a mate. Mason hates highborn and rich people without any valid reason. He’s poor and his mother is in need of immediate medical treatments. Christophe has a fated mate mark and Mason is his fated mate. Mason sneaked into Luna Mansion, try to steal from the guests attending party there and got caught. Christophe immediately knew this is his fated mate and bailed Mason out. And within a week, they admitted their love to each other and fell in love. After the started dating for 3 fucking days .. yes, you heard me right! 3 days! 🙄 On the evening of the third day they started dating, Mason said to Christophe that he’s tired of being a secret lover. I mean it’s 3 days for godfuckingsake. 😑😒🙄 I was still doing fine until that point in the story but after that incident, it just went downhill. Strict and unrelenting parents and rebellious son went against them and left the house and stood for his omega. And surprise, surprise, surprise, 😂 when they got a child, the parents immediately forgave them and even regarded the child as the heir of Luna pack.
At this point, my eyes are just constantly rolling. Period! 🙄🙄🙄 You know what I think of it when I was reading this book? It was like a telenovela cliché . Just because I loved the first 2 books in the series, I’ll still be reading the coming book in the series and if that one sucks, I’m done!!!! 😑
2.5 who ask for commitment after 3 days of dating stars (PS. Still rolling eyes 🙄🙄🙄) ⭐️⭐️💫
First 50%? Five stars. Slammin'. Bangin'. Last 50%? *big sigh* WE WERE SO CLOSE!
So, like I said, the first half of this book was fucking phenomenal. Not only was the writing better (besides a few minor spelling/grammar mistakes), the pacing of the story was significantly slower and more well-rounded than the first two books in this series. It's also a much slower burn; our MCs don't even TOUCH each other until like 60% into the book, which was very refreshing and it allowed for a much more compelling build-up to Christophe & Mason's inevitable fated mates relationship.
At the halfway point, when our MCs finally get together, our slow-burn becomes a raging inferno and noooot necessarily in a good way. The story kind of just snowballs; all that lovely slower pacing that we were given in the first half is thrown out the fucking window and the remaining plot is just a sequence of summaries (some of which I wasn't a big fan of, especially those concerning Christophe's dad and that whole clusterfuck). It's as if halfway through the story, someone accidentally sat on the remote and fast-forwarded through the whole book.
As far as the actual characters, I loooved Christophe - especially in the first half, obvi. His character is given a little more depth than I expected and oh, I felt for him. He's so lonely and has nothing to really call his own and it broke my heart! And then Mason, that little spitfire - I adored how he was able to bring Christophe out of his shell, it was so sweet! Even though they're fated mates, I'm so glad that the beginning of their relationship was slow-going and entailed more of them actually getting to know one another. Obviously not a ton; they do still get together within the span of like a week but STILL.
Since I loved the first half and...tolerated the second half, I'm just going to put my rating smack dab in the middle to average it out.
This 3rd book was about Loch's oldest brother and successor of the Luna Pack. Christophe always did all his parents wanted and was the perfect son and alpha, until he found his mate. Sure their first meeting wasn't usual, since Mason was trying to rob the Luna pack's mansion, but Christophe was able to see behind the Omegas mask. Mason used curses, rudeness and attitude to hide his insecureties and fears. He was only 20 years old, but he was taking care of his 16 years old sister and their ill mother. Maybe becoming a thief wasn't one of his best ideas, and dragging his younger sister in that "job" one of the worst ideas ever, but any normal job didn't pay enough to make them able to survive, help their mom, send his sister to school and pay the clan fees. Mason had to grow up too fast and to be the man of his family, and for this reason he never had time to be in a relationship, he seemed maybe to be less naive than the other omegas we saw in the previous books, but I'm not sure he had more experience than them (the author never tells us anything about that). At start Mason tried to fight his feelings for Christophe, bcs he was sure he was spoiled and useless like all the other highborns he had met in his life, but in the end they were fated mates and their attraction was too strong to ignore. Christophe for all his life, did all his parents asked him, trying to be perfect, an example. Being the first born and the Alpha's successor, he never had time to follow his dreams, but this never stopped him from dreaming. He never had a real lover, the ones he slept with, were only one night-stands. He may be 27 years old now, but he was still waiting for his mate the one the Tellers told him would have the paw to match the mark he had on his tight, a mark he had been born with. This thing of the Tellers made me understand a lot of things. It seems that every highborn wolf on their 5 years old birthday, is taken by his parents to the Tellers, and they tell them something about their future. In Christophe case they told him about his fated mate, and at this point I presume they told also his brothers something about their futures and maybe, MAYBE, is for this reason that Loch's parents pushed him to marry Tresten and for the same reason Tresten's father seemed to be sure the arrangment would work. Probably they knew something, or remembered what the Tellers had said to their 5 years old boys. At least I like to believe that, and it would make more sense.
When Christophe meets Mason and sees his paw, he is sure he found his mate and he doesnt care what his parents will say, if they don't want Mason he will leave them and the pack, he would do anything for his mate, also leave the people he loves and he pack he was raised to lead one day.
Luckily nothing so angsty happens, and with time and the help of his mother, in the end his father accepts Mason and their son as part of the pack.
In the epilogue we see them 5 years later and this time is Mason and Christophe's omega son the one going to see the Tellers. We don't know what they will tell him, but maybe one day the author will write some books about these kids and will let us know what happened to them once they become men.
Ps= we also found out that Van and his bear mate had a little girl! I was right in thinking that he as pregnant XD and now I really want to read Arthur's story, he is a damn flirt and I think his mate will be feisty.
This series keeps getting better! The world Ashe has created is vibrant with characters that come alive and worm their way into your heart. One family, four very different brothers. This third book has a foretold future, a fated mark, an unlikely mate, family angst, courage, and a love that is an intense as it is inevitable. HEA is assured. You will love this book! I recommend reading the first two books in this series. Time. Well. Spent. I can't wait to read the next book. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Christophe was a bit if a surprise to me. He came across as very stuffy and straight-laced in the previous books, but inside held a lot of longing for his fated mate. Mason was similar to Tresten in that he was determined to get by. He was struggling and just needed some help. Their bond took a while to get there, theirs is the slowest burn so far, but was worth it. Christophe really showed his principles and created a HEA for his family. Now for Arthur
I tried to like it more. I really had a problem with timeline. We know that in book one Loch is awaiting his first child and in that time Vander injured his leg. In book two Vander mentions that his injury was two years ago but Ian is in that book 3 years old. And in this book, Ian is celebrating his 4th birthday and Vander is still away on his adventure..... And the other thing is that I still don’t understand the universe where this is all happening.
This is my first book from this author and I found that I liked the flow of the story and how she got a lot of the angst and frustration from the beginning to be present yet subtle enough to not overwhelm. There are a lot of barriers between Cristophe and Mason and neither are sure exactly how to breach them. For Christophe it's a matter of class, family, the truth of prophecy, and pride. For Mason it's money, background, crimes, status, and family. Where do they go to be together? And is that even what they want?
Christophe comes from a high clan and is the first alpha of the family. He has a legacy and a duty to uphold. He's not going to fold under the pressure of all that responsibility but he does increasingly feel like he's being buried alive under it. He longs for a mate and part of him is holding out for the fated mate promised him as a child by the Teller. With a birthmark and a long-ago promise to guide him he keeps his eyes and heart open to the possibility but is becoming less and less sure that he'll find the one meant for him. When a large party draws in unexpected company he's surprised and shocked to find what he was looking for...in the eyes of a thief.
Mason is struggling. His whole family is struggling. Their pack is suffering from a high clan that takes advantage of them by literally bleeding them dry. When Mason and his sister find the only way to pay their pack fees and feed themselves is by stealing from the rich they find that they're beginning to make a name for themselves. Not a good thing when the richest of the rich are out to catch you and make you pay for inconveniencing their pocketbooks. With a determination to pull one last job they make their plans...to hit the Luna house. It turns out to be the last job for sure, but not in a way they were expecting. Mason gets caught and has to face the music. Will it be exile? Or a worse fate?
When Christophe's father gives him authority to make the judgment on Mason he doesn't realize he's setting them on a course to fulfill fate's dictates. Christophe uses his head and his heart to see that the thief is honorable, if a bit misguided, and is determined to help him. And maybe, just maybe, find out if he really is the fated mate he thinks he is. They grow together and find themselves drawn back to one another time and time again. I like that they get to know one another in a more innocent way before they give in to the passion that gnaws at both of them. Building a foundation of trust, genuine like, and sharing of selves they set a path toward a truly happy HEA...if only the Luna family would get on board.
With a ton of overlap these two are able to make something out of nothing and find out if they truly are fated mates and what that means for their future. Once discovered and decided they work toward finding acceptance, not just of them, but of their bond. With love and compassion, and a grandchild, things find a way to work out. I like the ending quite a lot because they find resolution through family, the same family that was so sure that duty should be honored before love and fate. Overall, this was a good story that had a lot of high points and very few lows. The writing itself was pleasing and flowed well, though I wish there was a bit more depth on the page, something to really sink my teeth into rather than just like from afar, if that makes sense. Solid characters with personal and relationship growth make for a good story and a sweet conclusion.
Read and willingly reviewed this ARC from the author.
Marked to the Omega is the third book in the Luna Brothers series by author Ashe Moon. This book is full of love and laughter along with some twists and turns you did not see coming. This book though part of a series can be read as a standalone and understood just fine. This story is written in dual POV. Christopher Luna: he is an Alpha with means. He has always wanted his very own fated mate. But when he meets said fated mate he finds that he might have to go against his family to claim him. Mason is Christopher’s fated mate. He is poor, his family has always struggled. He feels the pull to Christopher. But he worries is love enough? What else can he offer his mate? I loved these two they are both strong characters with vibrant personalities. The chemistry is off the charts, and the romance is perfect to me. I love action and humor that is sprinkled in. I cannot wait for more Luna Brothers book and I will be looking forward to read more from them in the future.
Great tropes, but the execution of them didn’t work for me. The two MCs are completely one dimensional and everything that happens it’s so cliche you can guess the plot from the first chapter.
It did make me laugh once and the mated tattoo was very cute.
One of the MCs is called Christophe. I had to remember that the missing r was not a typo but a choice. This is an entirely a me problem but I contributed to my ability to get into the book.
There were some editing problems (confusing the MCs name) and the author has no idea how long it takes to make soup. Christophe starts making cheese sandwiches and at the end he decided to quickly do a homemade soup. And it’s done instantly and the sandwiches don’t get cold. Does not how cooking works. Again this maybe a me issue that won’t bother others.
If you like fluffy insta love stories and are willing to oversee some issues you may like this. Reviews say the other books in the series are better so maybe start there and see if the authors writing is for you.
This story could have been so much more. It was good. But there were elements I felt could have been shifted around to improve the storytelling. When it comes to novellas, the author's real enemy is word count. There is much less real estate than you would have with a traditional novel. This means that you need to be selective about the scenes and pacing you choose. If the beginning was shortened we could have had so much more time with Christophe and Mason as a couple. By the time the characters got together, we were faced with multiple time skips leaving the bulk of their relationship to our imagination. This makes the ending feel rushed. Speaking of endings, the conclusion with the tension between Christophe and his parents was unsatisfying. His father ignored him for following his heart and they didn't speak for a year and all we get is a half-assed scene where his father neither makes amends nor shows any true remorse. It was kind of shitty. I was really excited for this installment of the series and was a bit let down.
This was a great addition to the series and I really enjoyed this story. I adored Mason's love for his family and his feisty stubborn ways, he made me laugh out loud a few times. I thought he was a great match for Christophe, they were well paired and Mason brought out the other's cheekiness. I also loved the mystical element of the mark on Christophe. It was a unique element of the story, I feel like so many Alpha/Omega stories I read have the omega marked so that was a nice unexpected flip. The author, as always, does a good job at fleshing out the supporting characters and the points of tension are really effective and move the story along. The love scenes are pretty steamy and the two MCs have such natural chemistry, I wanted more when the story ended! Overall, great read! It's part of a series but I don't necessarily think you need to read the other two to enjoy this one but you definitely should!
Christophe was always the most obedient, always diligent, favoured firstborn Alpha son. To his younger siblings he acted more like their Father than their older brother. He was groomed to become the next Alpha of their Clan. His education and focus were all on eventually taking over when their Father stepped down. He was too busy for a social life.
He worked while his brothers played and pursued their individual dreams. Family and responsibility came before anything else. Christophe could always be counted on to fill his duty to both. There was only one fanciful idea he carried with him from childhood the idea of fated mates. He kept it to himself to avoid ridicule but it was the main reason he was still alone.
He had no intentions of settling for just anyone. It made for a lonely workaholic life until a smart-mouthed thief literally broke into his heart; to the chagrin and mortification of his parents who were very concerned about their imagine especially his Father.
This was a great addition to the series Christophe and Mason are made for each other. Christophe is hard and uptight he is the first born so he can never really be himself. All he ever wanted was to find his fated mate but he didn't expect that mate to be a lowborn omega. Mason loves his family and will do anything to help them. I love that Mason is a free sprint he doesn't fit the typical omega style. When they met things are not the Christophe planned and Mason wants nothing to do with him. There story is sweet and very enjoyable it's well written and definitely worth reading. I voluntarily read a arc copy
This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. Mason and Christophe are total opposites but somehow they make sense together. They are drawn to each other immediately and are determined to be together even with the huge obstacles in their way. Not everyone believes in fated mates but they do and that helps them to keep going even when Christophe's father is against their relationship. I love Mason's mother and sister as they support him unconditionally. Christophe's brothers and mother quietly offer their support as well. The ending is great and I am looking forward to reading more books by Ashe Moon. I was given an ARC to review by the author.
This is the third Book in this FANTASTIC Series. LUNA BROTHERS is an Mpreg Series and I love this type of story. ASHE MOON gives you the heart of these men. Christophe is the next in line to take responsibility for the Luna. He is a strong but caring Alpha who wants to make a difference. Mason is a low born Omega. He lives in a poor neighborhood with his Mother and Sister. He's had to resort to nefarious means to provide for his family. That's how he meets his fated mate. This is a lovely love story. ASHE MOON creates a world that I love to get lost in. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS LUNA BROTHERS SERIES!!!!!!!!!!
This was my first book from this author and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. Whilst not everyone believes in fated mates, Christophe holds out that maybe just maybe his is out there , somewhere. Mason must do whatever he can to survive and support his mother and sister. Their two worlds collide and the chemistry between them is immediate - no matter how much Mason fights it.
I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.
The absurdity continues, in the best way possible. Now, I'll be the first to admit these are books I read with a glass of cider at hand and a smile at myself for being ridiculous by reading them. They are a guilty pleasure and I hope you give them a shot. They are fast reads and the story is not so deep that you have to worry about triggers or difficult situations hitting you hard.
These are fun and easy reads. Give the series a try, and then write a review letting folks know that you are open to new stories and experiences.
I will say this is my least favorite of the series so far. I was hoping for more of a plot. Of course, the spice is spicy, it just doesn't come until way late in the book. Once the two main characters are finally together, it gets repetitive. All growth stops. I am happy about Christophe standing his ground for his mate and I loved the sweet ending. But I think this would be the one of the series I wouldn't return to read unfortunately even though I was really interested in Christophe's whole story.
Christophe and Mason are from completely opposite backgrounds; one is the future Alpha of a Highborn clan while the other is Lowborn and struggling to meet the needs of his family. Their meeting could not have been less romantic and yet, Christophe sees the twin of the fated mate mark that graces his body. While struggling to figure out how to be mates, family disapproval, and everything that occurs with new relationships, these two fall in love and create their own family.
I loved this book. The storyline pulled me in right from the very beginning and I could not put it down until the very end. Christophe and Mason are great characters with an undeniable connection and attraction. Even though they are fated mates, they have to overcome a lot of obstacles if they want to be together. Mainly Christophe's family. It's a wonderful journey! Can't wait for more from this author and series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I had deja vue reading this, because this year I've already read an ABO / fated-mates / you-broke-into-my-house / major class differences book. Namely: Fate of the Moon . Sometimes when you read two similar books so close together it ruins the fun. I should try this again with a clean palette, so to speak.
I wasn't originally planning on reading this one, but I figured since I read all the others I might as well. This one was good. I liked Mason as a MC and enjoyed seeing them getting to know each other. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get more of a resolution with Mr. Luna (the patriarch) by the end. The last few chapters also seemed sped up to finish whereas I would have liked to have seen some of those scenes in more detail. Overall a decent story.
I was disappointed, it had potential in the beginning but it skipped so many key parts, many ‘time jumps’ that seemed to be thrown in the middle of a conversation that made reading it confusing.
There were moments when even the name of the character was a completely different name.
I honestly questioned if this was written by a teenager and pulled from Wattpad. I wouldn’t recommend.
This was a nice continuation of the series. Mason and Christophe were a good match for each other. They were from total opposite backgrounds, but found that nice place to love each other. The story was a little bit of a stretch, but was well written and I enjoyed it. Will read the next book.
Book 3 ... The editing is much better than the first 2 books. I only wish this could have been a bit longer of a book, more details, and more content between Christophe and his father. Overall this series is actually quite intriguing without being overly mushy. I can't wait to read more of this series and more from this author.
