Soon dragged into a world of corporate power and greed, he wonders just how far a family would go to keep that power?
As Nick hunts down a killer , he must uncover the secrets behind one of the nation’s biggest businesses and use his special set of skills to learn the truth about what is happening in Riema, before the killer strikes again..
As soon as l am aware of a new book by Jason l will source it, usually abandoning what l am already reading! I am confident that l will soon be engrossed in Nick Vada’s adventures and Jason doesn’t disappoint. Nick Vada is another flawed policeman with a tendency to resort to alcohol when things get tough. I hope one day to read that he has found the strength of character and intelligence to acknowledge this solves nothing and his problem all the more difficult to deal with, it being obvious to all that he is still under the influence. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, atmospheric and complex. I only read at bedtime and into the small hours. Perfect. Thank you again Jason, a winner for me. 4.5 stars only because the first half had some quite obvious errors, which spoiled the flow. The second was fine! Multiple proof readers?
Nick Vada is fast becoming one of my favourite detectives. I love this series. Jason Summers tells a great story and I’m glad he is starting to get the recognition he deserves.
This series of books are a really good read and I’m looking forward to the next one. There are, however, errors in it as in the first two (eg in chapter 14 referring to Corey as Daniel). Jason just needs a good proof reader who can pick up those kind of things as well as some grammatical errors … Jason, if you would like another pair of eyes over your next book before it’s published give me a shout!
