Story Enjoyment Rating 7/10 Christian Faith Rating 3/3

This Christian contemporary romance novel, Sunflower Farms Redemption by Stacie Strong, is a warm and faith-filled book. The story centres on Rose, the dedicated manager of a sunflower farm grappling with the sudden reappearance of her ex-boyfriend, Jesse, who also happens to be the new owner.
Some of the things I liked:
• Compelling Setting: The backdrop of a sunflower farm creates a great atmosphere, perfect for a late summer or autumn read.
• Strong Faith Content: The narrative prominently features Christian themes, including the importance of God, church, and faith-based decisions.
• Relatable Protagonist: Rose is portrayed as a headstrong and determined character.

Here are some things I didn’t like:

• Jarring Emotional Transitions: The story sometimes suffers from abrupt shifts in emotion, which can feel anticlimactic and prevented me from fully connecting with the characters' emotional journeys.

Overall, Sunflower Farms Redemption is an easy-to-read and heartwarming story with a strong emphasis on Christian faith.

Stacie Strong is a new author to me, In fact, this is her debut book. This is a story of forgiveness and second chance romance. This story is well written with good characters, storyline, and ending. Jesse Cooper left home ten years ago to get away from the way his dad treated him after his mom’s death. Not only did he walk away from his home, but he broke it off and walked away from Rose McFarland. Now he has returned to clean out his parents’ house and see about selling the farm. However, Rose is running the farm and she hopes to persuade Jesse into keeping the farm. Can she get him to understand how his dad changed over the years?
