Bianca Screw the mafia. Growing up, my father was a gambling addict who made bets he couldn’t repay… So the mafia has been a threat to my family ever since I can remember. Yesterday I met the worst gangster ever. He’s a hothead with a temper… A gorgeous asshole looking to take over Florence for his crime family. I hated him from the second I laid eyes on him. Which really sucks for me, since he ended up saving my life… And now I think I’m falling for him.
Adriano She was everything I despise in a Sassy, strong-willed, with tons of attitude. I hated her the minute she opened her mouth. So why the hell am I so obsessed with her? Yeah, she’s beautiful – but I’ve had plenty of beautiful women. This one’s different. Unfortunately for me, she’s also the key to a Finding out who’s plotting to destroy my family. Whoever’s behind it all is trying to murder HER to keep me from finding out. I have to keep her safe, which means she’s by my side 24/7. And I don’t want to admit it… But I think I’m falling for her.
Mafia Adriano is the second in a dark Mafia Romance series.
#1 – Mafia Dario #2 – Mafia Adriano
There is NO cheating. There IS an HEA.
this book contains adult situations, profanity, violence, and dark romance themes.
DNF-terrible. I gave the book a 1 because of the cover.
This is a new author to me and was surprised at the "childish repetitive banter" and ethnic Soprano type of script that she infused in this story. This is not 1980 and you do not need to infuse the old style Godfather type characters into this genre.
The author seemed as though she was a writer who was writing their first book in this genre other than someone who is supposed to have written several books. I'm an avid reader of this genre and therefore expect some level of quality and believability in this genre. What was the point of writing out the words for all the sounds effects? It felt like I was reading a comic book rendition of a story vs., a novel. It felt like she had to fill space in the story with dual POV's, almost word for word except for a few changes by each character. This all boils down to a less than acceptable read for me. There are too many good writers in this genre that know how to write without needless fillers and childish banter who actually know their topic.
I really did enjoy this book. In the first book, I really thought Adriano was this hot headed alpha that really had some anger issues. But I’m so glad that this book really gave him more of a personality, still a bit of a hot head but with more depth. 😂
You can totally tell he immediately felt a connection with Bianca the second they had a conversation. Both are totally stubborn and like to talk back to each other in a playful way. So it was fun to see the way their relationship went along the way. Their feelings for each other developed really fast in the 2 days that they were together, but I guess when you both go through traumatic things together it only made them stronger.
The new threat didn’t show up until the last 10% of the book, so that was disappointing, but it was still really good. I just wish it went into it a little more.
I will definitely be reading the rest of the books in this series. So excited to see the other brothers fall in love!
Adriano and Bianca were smokin'. A super hot couple. I didn't think Adriano would get his story so early on in the series, but I am not complaining. I liked book one. I enjoyed this second book even more. This has a really good, exciting, and suspenseful storyline that is developing into quite a series arc.
While I do think the writing could be more polished, Olivia Thorn still smashed it with the couple and story development. There is undoubtedly more to come for these brothers.
I can't wait for Niccolo's book whenever that may be.
I hope the cover gets updated here on GR because Adriano's cover is 🔥and would attract more attention.
The first book in this series (Dario’s story) was ok. The writing was a little novice for me but overall I didn’t mind the book. This book though? I don’t understand. It sounds like a 16 year old boy writing. I couldn’t even get through the first spicy scene. THAT WAS A FIRST FOR ME. I’ve always powered through but the writing was so atrocious I had to stop.
I explained the ending of this to Jess and she went 🧍♀️. Guys this book was crazyyyyy but you know what, I genuinely wanted to know what was going to happen and I never felt like it was dragging?? ALSO THE END????? THE CLIFFHANGER!!! didn’t see that one coming #crazy
I love mafia romance ,my whole list is full of them I started reading this book on a tik tok recommendation and I'm disappointed. 4.3 stars is misleading the male lead is meek, wanna be and falls in love with a girl after sleeping with her on the first day they met . It sounds typical story but the guy is spineless wannabe and i couldn't continue after few chapters .I couldn't handle more of the bs .
Once the first book hooks you...this one ups the game! It's a great continuation from the first book and I am enjoying how the books flow into one another.
2/5 stars ⭐️ I had to DNF this at 35% so I won’t leave a star rating on the actual book since I don’t feel like that’s quite a fair shot. There is potential in this authors writing but I couldn’t force myself to read another ellipses.
There are ~10 pages dedicated to the first time Bianca and Adriano meet. The dialogue was clunky but the premise hooked me! Then, I was quickly unhooked when minutes later I had to read through exact same ten pages a second time, but with Adriano’s added inner monologue (important details like him calling her a bitch in his head). Nothing in the retelling of the scene added anything worth making me re-read ten pages of just-ok dialogue.
I finally put it down because I couldn’t stand how juvenile the language was. We’re supposed to be in the first person perspective of a mobster and the language is almost indistinguishable from the way the 22 year old woman is written.
Pros: I love a badass boss bitch fmc I like when a machismo is brought to his knees. The story was entertaining and action packed. Cons: The FORMATTING! A paragraph is a full thought, not one sentence. So so so many ellipsis. I had to skip some sex screens because it was a half sentence, …, new paragraph. Half sentence, …, new paragraph. Rinse and repeat for 6 pages. Almost DNF just because of the formatting. I’m giving three stars for characters and storyline but if it didn’t have that, I wouldn’t have finished it because of the technical issues.
Loving this series and the brothers. While there is a back story that runs through each book, there are different conflicts, threats and enemies in each story. In this book, we learn that there is one person behind it all. Plenty of action and danger to keep you turning pages. Also plenty of spice.
Bianca (MFC) is a strong women with plans and dreams. Having studied fashion design, she plans to work her way up to the big fashion houses and eventually start her own house. Only then will she think about marriage and children. Although her father is an accountant who cooks the books for the Agrellas, she's been far removed from mafia life. That is until her father disappears with no word. Attempts to reach him are fruitless except for one message telling her to get her mother and leave town. But it's too late because one of the Agrella thugs has already shown up and claims dear old dad owes them money from gambling debts. He tells her the Agrellas are scheduled to meet and negotiate with another mafia family. They've hired women to "entertain" the men, soften them up and make them more agreeable. If she wants to help her father and settle his debt, she'll join the girls already hired. She doesn't have to have sex with them....just talk and be nice...flirt. But at the meeting, she soon realizes something isn't right.
Adriano is the brother with the short fuse; big, strong, quick to anger and usually scowling. He's made Capo and sent to oversee their businesses and territories in Florence. At the meeting, while waiting for the Agrella Don to show up, he meets Bianca and likes her sassy attitude. He's already wondering why the Agrella Don hasn't shown up and why the underboss seems so nervous. He follows Bianca to another room just before things go crazyl and he realizes it was a set-up and no one was supposed to survive. They manage to escape through a window and thus begins their journey to discover who is behind the assassination attempt, what happened to her father and what he disvovered to make him run. All while avoiding more assassination attempts, abductions and arrests.
The attraction between these two is real...they just need to.lesrn to trust each other. Lots of spice amidst all the danger. And finalll...someone who can calm the storm that is Adriano.
2.5* Plots that don’t make any sense, timeline mistakes, no explanations about things that happen.
While I liked this book better than the first one, I struggled with a lot of it. One of the worst parts for me was Bianca’s dad, who consistently gambled and put his family in serious danger as he ‘borrowed’ money from a mafia family. I know Bianca obviously loves her father but she put her life in danger over and over to help him. I’m sorry but what sort of man would do that? He should have got help a long time ago for his addiction. 😡
When Bianca’s dad goes missing (Yet again.) owing the mafia thousands of euros, Bianca makes a deal with them. She agrees to go to an event and ‘talk’ to men and they’ll let her father have an extra month to pay them. In other words she’ll be working as a prostitute! Is there nothing she wouldn’t do to save her weak father? When she’s at the event she meets Adriano. Adriano thinks that she’s just another wh*re but he likes her attitude. Bianca at first hates Adriano as he gets people really annoyed so he can tell if they’re lying or not. Erm? 🙄 As danger kicks off around them Adriano saves Bianca a few times and she sees a very different side to him. They’re soon having s* x everywhere and all the flaming time. This author can’t write s*x scenes. According to her a woman can have an orgasm that goes on and on and on. 😂 Oh if only……Does this author not know there things called condoms? In the last book Dario never uses them, in this book Adriano doesn’t. There’s no discussions about being clean, or contraception. It’s crazy.
When they’re not having s*x they’re fighting to stay alive as an unknown enemy attacks the family. At times it’s really exciting. I just wish the author had explained what happened to Bianca. At one point something happens to her and it’s not explained at all. I won’t spoil it.
I liked parts of it but the three words on one line thing is annoying! So is Bianca’s father putting her and her mothers lives in danger over and over. Some mistakes in the timelines as well.
Now this is the book I originally heard about on the app Tik Tok. I started with the first book since I wouldn’t have been able to understand what was going on. So far this is my favorite out of the series. And so is Adriano. He is such a big teddy bear who doesn’t know how to control his emotions. All he needed was a female to come along and help him control hisself. Bianca was just the person he needed. She didn’t tolerate his attitude at all nor anyone else’s. They matched each other in every way. The banter and sexual tension between the two of them was so hot and intense. The drama throughout the book kept me engaged and constantly yelling at my kindle.
Bianca’s father was such a coward and an asshole. I understand he was sick and had a problem but he ultimately left his wife and kid to deal with everything while he hid. And then had to gall to get upset about what his daughter was about to do. Like dude you started all of this! Granted the wife to me wasn’t any better. I would have taken my child and left the husband to deal with every problem he created.
I didn’t like the attitude Adriano had towards his brothers though. I understood where it was coming from but the was way out of line. And the fact they just let it go for the most part, No absolutely not! They should have pulled him aside and had a talk. They always need to be a unified front until things calm down. Nevertheless things worked in the end and they understood. He apologized and the brothers all gained another sister.
Therefore I gave this book a 5 out of 5. I can’t wait to read Massimo’s story and especially Lars story. He’s my favorite even before Adriano.

Oh WOW this is fantastic. It's a marvelous story it's so full of action and suspense. I really enjoyed Adriano and Bianca they are so amazing and great together. I really enjoyed the loyalty and togetherness of these characters. When you put the drama in with all of emotions along with how intriguing and captivating every chapter is then you realize that you have enjoyed every moment.Adriano and Bianca met one eventful night that was full of action, they were instantly attracted to each other, But because of Bianca family involvement it didn't stop there. So let the action began along with the suspense. This relationship has loads of drama, passion and secrets but Adriano will always take care of his woman this so fantastic. I must say this is truly a pleasurable experience and I'm so proud that I'm a fan of this author. So if you would like to enjoy a story that has awesome characters with great chemistry with some mafia vibe that's thrilling full of action that in the end will bring a smile to your face because their relationship is definitely a magnificent experience but let's not forget that even the secondary characters are some of the best characters to read. There is only one thing that I wanted and that was for Adriano and Bianca story to continue . Oh my I hated for this fantastic story to end. But overall this was a story I couldn't stop reading and because of this I couldn't put my reader down until the very end. I'm can't wait until I get the next story because I will be all over it the minute I download it. Happy Reading I know you will enjoy every moment of this story or any story in this series.
Adriano is the new Capo in Florence, Italy. He is sent to have a coming to terms meeting with a rival mafia family. When he arrives he sees a beautiful escort but is furious with the diversion going on and just wants to get the meeting over with. He smells a setup and could not be more right but the feisty woman Bianca might have valuable information and he promises to help her if they can escape the attempts to their lives.
Bianca was following her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. She divides her time between work, school and her family. Her father's gambling problem has brought them more than enough trouble over the years and when she is sent as a model to a meeting in order to wipe off some of her fathers date she does it. Now she is running with Adriano who is promising to help her find her father, the maddening man is driving her wild and when they act on their feelings they find something special. Now they have to figure out who is after Adriano's and Bianca's family. Will the figure it out before it is too late?
Another action packed book from this author. I liked this one better than the first. Bianca has so much sass and Adriano has a hot trigger temper. I am anxious to read the other books in this series, so far it has been fantastic.
This is the second book in the Rosolini brothers series. A continuation of the dark mafia romance. This time Adriano the second oldest brother has been promoted to capo of Florence.
Adriano is at a hotel with 2 of his brothers meeting a rival family. Bianca is there working off her family’s gambling debt. Then an assassination attempt is made that drags Bianca into the middle of everything.
While attempting to find out who is trying to murder members of the Rosolini family, Adriano and Bianca fall for each other.
There were two really interesting things that happened in the book: - Bianca is a ride or die chick. Standing by Adriano’s side in every situation. - I understand the speed in which they marry in these books. Since they don’t know how long they have to live makes them commit faster and harder. - Family is everything and I love how they bond together even accepting the new women as they come in.
I’m really enjoying diving into this Mafia world. The men fall hard and fast even though they are so against love and softness. Once they have their eyes on a woman it’s all over. And the woman are not meek they say what’s on their mind and fight for what’s right. Bianca was fantastic a total firecracker. So used to fighting her own battles she is fierce and always willing to fight for those she loves. No matter how difficult she’s willing to rise to the challenge. I also really loved that even though her father got her into this whole mess due to poor decisions she recognizes he was trying his best and loved him still. While at the same time not letting him off the hook for then at choices he made. She forged her own path. Adriano is a hothead, quick to anger and act but an excellent leader. In this book we see him mature, humble himself and take ownership of his actions. Together he and Bianca make a formidable team.
No notes this book was everything I wanted it to be and more. Seriously after reading this book it makes me hope even more that the author revisits the first book. Between writing the first & second books the author grew so much. This book has 200 some odd pages more than the first book does & I read this one faster due to how much I enjoyed reading it. I adore the journey the author takes us on with every twist and turn, the road leading us there is also beyond enjoyable. Whilst the series are standalones I agree they are way more enjoyable in order. I truly am begging the author to revisit the first story as I knew it had potential before reading this one but now I’m certain that book would be an absolute all time favorite of mine if it was reworked. I wish I could gush about this book further but I’m honestly too excited to continue the series so I’ll just say I’m obsessed & this book was everything to me.
Holy cliffhanger, Batman! This book is a banger! When Adriano and Bianca meet, they immediately dislike one another, but then the sparks fly. After some exciting moments, they end up in a small cottage with only one bed. After that, it’s pretty much insta-love for Bianca and the mafioso. When the family is threatened, Bianca puts herself on the line - can Adriano save her?
This book is so exciting. I love the way the author uses short chapters to ramp up the action scenes and make everything more thrilling. Talk about a page turner! The characters are fantastic - I love Bianca who is fearless. The world building is great, and the plot is excellent and fast-paced. Adriano and Bianca bond so quickly, especially when sharing their feelings about their fathers. It’s a moment. I love the band of brothers who are there for one another.
You need to read Dario first, then read Adriano - now I’m off to read Massimo! Let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss!
This is book two in a series of Mafia brothers. This brother is the grumpy asshole,
“I guess I do kinda try to piss people off…” “Why?!” “Because it’s… it’s like a lie detector test. If I’m an asshole and they’re nice back to me, then I know they want something. If they’re an asshole back, though, I know I’m getting the truth.”
I always find people who are the opposite of people pleasers fascinating. It's usually men which makes sense because women use people pleasing as a survival tactic. Although this guy is a great portrait of reckless provocation and fury - it's amazing he's still alive.
Crappy, weak dads are a common trope in romance and I'm glad they are because it reflects reality well. I think we need to quit letting men off the hook who are terrible parents. The MFC's dad is at the center of all her problems but we're left feeling sad for him in the end. Fuck that guy.
I LOVED ADRIANO AND BIANCAAAAAA!!! SO MUCH PASSION AND HEAT AND LOVE AND AMAZING ACTION IN THIS BOOK!!!
This series is becoming SO addicting! I can’t get enough of these crazy mafia men and their women. First, Dario and Alessandra have a crazy whirlwind relationship. Now, angry Adriano gets an even crazier and more whirlwind-y relationship. I loved Adriano so much - he was so passionate and protective over Bianca even after barely knowing her and not knowing where her loyalties lay.
Also, this story? This plot? So well thought out and through. Lots of crazy action in- and outside of the bedroom, and trust me, you do NOT want to miss what happens between the sheets and behind closed doors. 😮💨
I cannot wait to read more about this family!! Y’all are sleeping on Olivia Thorn!!
