A good biography for students. You see Mathew Brady's photo in every Civil War book but this book gives you the story behind the photographer. Not much is truly known about his early life but his later life was all about learning about photos, taking photos, and learning more. I found it very interesting book to read and it was a quick read for me.

i learned alot of things from this book. one i didnt know they took pictures in the 1800s and there good ones. Mathew B. Brady took pictures of war. when he got older he couldnt see as well so his assistants took the pictures with him in the background in deep thought. it was ful or information.
