Granny's Message: Can Jamie believe the messages that her friend's grandmother is giving her from the "other side"?

Jamie Barnes is excited about the new life that she is about to begin in a small town in Wisconsin. Shortly after buying an old rocking chair on a sudden whim, her life suddenly begins to change. The chair seems to have a mind of its own, and so does the large friendly dog that lives on the farm down the road. Jamie is eventually pulled into the life and secrets of the nearby Wilson family. In this family are a young girl searching for the truth about her life, and an old woman who can see the past and the future through apparent conversations with those who have already crossed to the other side. The question of whether this is possible looms over Jamie as she tries to help her new friends deal with Granny’s strange messages, including one that could change the course of her life.
