Judith and Kali have left behind their hidden world in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness. With Paul by her side, Judith faces adjusting to life on the "outside." It's a whole new world to still mute Kali, who finds that she loves hamburgers and fries, and learns what it's like to have a friend her age. Paul's parents take them in, and the girls are comforted by being part of a family again. The girls experience a constant stream of new experiences as they adjust to modern life. Meanwhile, danger haunts them all after the killers of Judith and Kali's family are released on bail.

A great adventurous thrilling ending to an awesome tale.
This book completes the grand story of the two sisters that went through times of love, hardships and what they lost and gained and it captures what they faced together old and new and what they will face as time goes on and that they will always have each other. This is a great story and I recommend reading the communing tree first to understand everything that happens and it is a great story for most ages.
