We know that the most important work we will ever do on earth is to teach our children to be good, honest, healthy, and kind people. Our homes are the first and most important schoolroom our children will have. This makes it the perfect place to have deep, meaningful conversations about important topics like love, healthy relationships, lasting marriages, sexual intimacy, and the dangers that threaten their future happiness. We are living in complicated and uncertain times. Our kids are surrounded by unhealthy or false messages about their bodies, relationships, and human sexuality. It is our job as parents to teach them what is true and what is not. It is vital that we begin these discussions to help them understand what healthy sexuality is, how special their bodies are, AND that they can come to us as parents to find answers to their questions. Using our 30 Days of Sex Talks books, know that you are setting the tone for the future; creating a home where your child can talk to you about anything. What’s This curriculum includes helpful directions, 30 simple, yet meaningful lessons, and an extensive glossary of over 130 terms to help you. Each lesson includes introductory points to consider, critical teaching information, scripture, powerful discussion questions, and additional resources to enrich your family’s learning experience. Some topics even have an accompanying activity or sample scenario to inspire further conversation. Check out our other books that make great companions to our 30 Days of Sex Talks series, including How to Talk to Your Kids About Pornography, Conversations with My 30 Essential Family Discussions for the Digital Age, and 30 Days to a Stronger Child.

If parents don't discuss sexuality with their children, someone else will. Kids are naturally curious and want to learn about the world around them, and who they are, including their own bodies. This book is brilliant because it introduces to parents a great way to teach children all they need to know. From their own bodies and the changes they will encounter as they grow, to the boundaries they will need to create in the greater world and everything in between, this book has it covered. More important than anything....is how to approach the awkward and keep the conversations short, simple, accurate, safe and open. That is they key to a trusting and loving relationship with your child. This is an excellent book that I would recommend to all parents.
Really enjoyed this book, it provided plenty of guidance for navigating these discussions with your children. I also appreciated the discussion cards and the glossary at the back to assist with anything that may have been unknown for parents. I felt the units at the end were a little shy on information, they could have gone a little more in depth on STI/STDs given that the questions pertained to more information than was given in the book. Overall, I would recommend to others.
This is a remarkable and educational book that has an exceptional reference guide to help incorporate these lessons into daily conversations with parents and children. It is accompanied with practical lessons that enhance the child’s learning. It is important to help the children know that they have positive traits, and they are respected individuals.
This book is important for parents to raise their kids. I read it. It is easy to read. The principles therein are easy to teach to and be understood by children. Parents will make the greatest choice using this tool.
Short and sweet. Covered main topics. Appreciate the additional resources. Also appreciated the activities and questions that parents/care givers could ask their child.
