But in life, nothing worth having is ever easy to embrace. And as if all of this potential readjustment isn’t enough to stress my edges off, I cross paths with a man who is as fine as anything God ever created, but is off limits because beautiful things usually are.
Enter Michael Thompson III, a brother who talks to dogs and wants to prove to me that he’s not one himself when a few chance encounters with my crazy behind, prove to be more than he can ignore.

Ms. Scales, come to the front of the room honey, cause you did that ish! You came back with a bang and brought an arsenal of funny with you! Leslie is a whole vibe, and her comedic timing is gold! When I say I hollered from the beginning to the end, I did just that! I mean bent over, holding my stomach, showing all 32, can’t breathe type of hollering! This thang was hilarious!
Then enters Michael Thompson thee Third, who brings the sexy, wild stories about his family; and who is just as funny as Leslie. What?? I knew then I was in for a treat and boy did they bring it!
There were so many scenes that I loved, but I must make mention of the scene in the bridal shop. Man, when Judy tore into GiGi……. then the bathroom scene! 👀 Whew! I was weak! 😂😂
The dysfunctional, but loving family dynamics was relatable, and then the love that grew between Michael and Leslie was perfection! ❤ I hope that we get to see some interaction between these two families, because between Michaels’ dad and Leslie’s mom, that would be some hilarious ratchet mess! But I’m here for it! Cannot wait for the next tour stop. Bravo Sabrina! 👍👍👍

It’s been a minute since I’ve read a book by Sabrina B. Scales and LMAO reminded me why I’m such a huge fan of hers. Leslie’s comedic genius had me cacklin’ from the moment she was introduced to us. I’m talkin’ literally laughing out loud and wiping tears from my eyes. She was Houston’s comedian on the rise to watch for a reason. Then, you have Michael Thompson thee Third, his stuck up fiancé, and his flamin’ gay dad who added another layer of funny to this story. That scene in the bridal shop had me rolling! Judy didn’t have to read GiGi like that but, she 1000% deserved it. LMAO was a knee slappin’ good time. SBC pulls you in with humor, relatable family dysfunction, and an unexpected romance. I can’t wait to dive into Mina, Allison, and Olivia’s stories.

Guess Who's Back!!!!!
She never left, but Sabrina B Scales is back and better than ever with her latest release. I laughed until I was gasping .for breath. I needed this read more than I can say and Mrs. Ma'am definitely delivered!
Leslie and Michael are a match made in comedic heaven.
I enjoyed everything about this story. Both characters were likeable, relatable and loveable. Their families were realistic while also being very eclectic and also being supportive.
I absolutely loved being able to experience The Show! It was everything. I so look forward to what we have in store with the remaining members of LMAO!

Now this was funny, had me laughing and smiling. Fruity Pebble P*, Leslie was quick with it, witty and quick with them hands 😆. I liked the playful and easy going vibe between Leslie and Michael, but also how Leslie would be vulnerable around Michael. The last chapter, oh what opening for the tour 😂

Readers, a word of advice... Do not, I repeat, do not sleep on this author. Once again SBS gave us her traditional quirky, comical, and super sexy love story with a side of whatchu talkingbout Willis goodness. 4.75 stars...

perfectly titled!
This book has it all: real life situations, friendly banter, and a heavy dose of comedy. I laughed so much, swooned with stars in my eyes, and couldn’t wait to see how things would turn out for Leslie and Michael. Such a refreshing rom-com story. I enjoy SBS’s storytelling. Can’t wait for more from this series!

The absolute funniest book I’ve read this year. The main and supporting characters where so funny, I wish I knew these people in real life. I CANNOT wait for the other books in this series to drop. I’ll be reading them immediately. Great story and amazing comedic writing.

LMAO Book 1
This was definitely a different style for Sabrina Scales. But, not shocking. She is a very funny person and if you follow her on soc media you would understand what I mean. If you looking for straight romance this not the book for you, but if you want to have laughter mixed in with your romance coffee then this definitely the book for you.

Love and laughter
I cracked up the whole time reading this book. Leslie and Michael had such great chemistry in and out the bedroom. There were multiple funny people throughout the story.
Michael's ex was trash and I was glad when he got rid of her.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Hilarious!!!
I loved this book and I cannot wait to meet the remaining ladies of LMAO throughout this series. I laughed so hard throughout the entire book. Leslie is a whole fool and kept me dying in laughter. Michael had some jokes too and had some nice comebacks for Leslie. I loved the connection and organic chemistry between Michael and Leslie and how they just gelled so well together. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a good laugh and a cute romance.

This story was great from start to finish! I had to remind myself that I was in office at work when I was reading a few times because I couldn’t contain my laughter. Leslie was a true comedian and her light personality was contagious. I think that’s why Mike was enamored with her—so much so that he started forgetting he had a woman at home. A crazy one, but a woman no less. I’m glad he got that situation cleared up, so he could really pursue Leslie. The side characters were just as entertaining, especially Mike’s dad and Leslie’s mom and aunt. I wish we could have gotten to see how his family interacted with Leslie and vice versa, but even without it this was a great read! I can’t wait for the remaining stories!

Michael and Leslie were such a cute couple and vibed well together. I loved that both of them had a sense of humor and were able to make that work in their relationship. There were so many funny moments in the book that I found myself actually laughing out loud at the antics that were going on. I also thoroughly enjoyed the other characters in the book, especially Michael's dad and Leslie's mother and aunt who were hilarious in their own right. I couldn't stand Michael's ex-fiance. There was something special about that chick. Michael and Leslie also shared a deep and abiding passion that heated up the pages in the book. I can't wait to read the next book in the series which I know will be just as hilarious as this one is.

Such a funny sexy love story. OMG, I laughed from beginning to end on this one. This has to be the funniest book I've read all year. Absolutely Loved It
This was such a pleasant surprise. It’s my first read from this author. I’m completely sold on this series. The first installment was so much fun. There were so many laugh out loud funny moments. Leslie had so much spunk. I absolutely loved her. And then Michael came on the scene. Oh my goodness, he made me swoon and laugh. Their chemistry was everything. This was the perfect courtship. I love how we got drama, comedy, and romance seamlessly wrapped up in one book. This was the perfect lighthearted read that I was looking for. I cannot wait to dive into the next installment.

Why do I want to taunt/sing: Leslie and Michael sitting in a tree, K-I-SS-I-N-G! But I'm not, neither am I going to sit on the front row of one of her shows either. Scales, true to form had me screaming on the 14 freeway today. I can envision her slapping her own knee while laughing as she wrote this one. I was laughing so hard, when the preacher walked up to my car, his eyes bucked because it was praying LOUD. I'm sorry, I laughed harder. Then the flip came. I love a good story. On to the next book in the series.

This story was a perfect funny, sexy snack to munch on. I really LMAO. Leslie was on go from the jump and she did not break characters staying true to her dream and who she is as a woman. I love that she is strong, assertive, confident and bold. She says what she means and means what she says. She's "a lover and a fighter that'll knock a nukka out, don't take her for a sukka cause that's not what she's about."...just as GiGi #IKYYK. A good story with romance and humor that will keep a smile on your face till the end.

This book had me laughing the whole time I was reading. Leslie, with the ghetto middle name was jokes the whole time. Her mother & aunt, oh my goodness! I hate to find out what the grandmother's name is. Then Mike came along at just about the right time. Just had to get out of his situation with ol' 12 toes. Then she couldn't take no for an answer & had to bring Leslie out of character. It was never a dull moment from the beginning!

I laughed through this comedic romance (sex scenes included) from start to finish! The clapbacks made it a quick read & the characters were realistic, often conflicted & entertaining. Sabrina Scales is known for her humor but this one felt like watching a Netflix comedy show. Brilliant idea & according to ig book 2 drops soon! I can’t wait❣️

Short but funny and hot, too! Lezz is definitely a funny lady whose straight forward. Michael is.....whew!! He's everything a woman could want and appreciate. I laughed a lot reading this, and I honestly wish it was longer so I could read more about these two. Good read for sure.

I laughed so many times during this quick read. I love a book that I can laugh at and all of Leslie’s jokes were hilarious and the scene between Michael and GiGi had me laughing so hard. The toes had me cracking up. The was a great rom com that was heavy on the comedy. I was crying tears 🤣🤣🤣

It took me a few days to get to this, but it was so worth it. This book was HILARIOUS, romantic, educating and entertaining. I ADORE SBS and when I tell you I can’t wait for book two? I’m about to go harass her right now. As soon as I read this again. Amazing job Ms. scales!!

She is hilarious!
Way to set the series off Leslie because I was definitely LMAO! Lezz was hilarious, beautiful, had a big heart and needed a break in her comedy dreams so it could become a career. I also enjoyed Michael - he had style, a sense of humor and he was just the man she needed.
Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Omg this book was so good! Leslie is a fool! I loved her and Michael’s back and forth! They were so cute together. I’m glad they both decided to become a couple. This book definitely kept me laughing I hated to see it end! I can’t wait for the next book! Sabrina you’re awesome!

Dreams appear out of nowhere
This was a cute tale of triumph in more ways than one. I quite enjoyed the sarcastic banner between Leslie & Michael. Leslie's sense of humor comes across the pages perfectly. It was filled with comical quips and plenty quotable comebacks.
