Discover the Easy Way to Keep Yourself MotivatedI was stuck.
I'd been sitting here trying to write this description all morning, and everything I came up with seemed a little off... like it just wasn't quite right.
Alrighty, I thought to myself, it must be time for a walk!
So I checked the current weather... Ugh. Heavy rain. Right now.
Not very promising.
But I'm also familiar with the weather reporting here, so I wandered over to the window to check.
And there I saw bright blue skies. In every direction!
Moments later, I was hauling my boots on and heading off on my walk.
It was a pretty cold day, so I told myself that I would only do the short walk. Just to the first bridge and back.
By the time I got to the first bridge, I was enjoying myself so much that I kept right on walking up the river.
Ok then, I figured, it looks like I'll be going to the second bridge today!
And then I became lost in thought.
It wasn't until I found myself in the park at the far end of the loop track that I realized I'd gone straight over the second bridge without even noticing myself doing it, and had continued all the way on for the full walk.
And when I finally got home, 3 and a half hours after I set off, I had walked more than 10 miles.
Now you might be wondering what that story has to do with keeping yourself motivated.
What if I were to tell you that there's a simple trick I used that I apply to pretty much everything?
Any time I want to get something done and I find myself demotivated or losing enthusiasm along the way, I employ this trick and whatever I'm working on kinda just happens.
Or at least, that's what it seems like to me.
And I've designed this book to teach that trick as quickly as humanly possible!
With any luck, you'll be able to read the entire thing in a handful of minutes and start practicing it right away.
Like all my other books to date, I've aimed to leave out all the fluff.
So it's short, sharp, and to the point.
Inside this
The simple process I use to attach instrinsic motivation to any task I'd like to complete. How to set that process up for success. How to make sure it keeps on working. The easy way to automate intrinsic motivation. This is the secret to how I ended up walking the entire loop track today when I'd intended to walk only the first part. What kinds of things make good trigger points to activate the process. What I do to make pretty much any task enjoyable even when it isn't yet.
So if you're fed up with feeling demotivated and frustrated by tasks you have to do but don't want to...
If you've ever found that it's sometimes hard to follow things through to the end...
Or even if you just want to know how to enjoy anything you choose...
