Remus is a PhD student and hobbyist baker who finds himself adrift following his father’s death. On a whim, he enters the Great British Bake Off and is swept up in a flurry of curdled custard, shrunken souffle, and under-proved dough. Remus expects to be challenged and to embarrass himself on public television. What he doesn’t account for are the friendships he develops with the other contestants and the deep connection he forms with his teenage crush, Sirius Black: charming ex-boy band member and Bake Off host.

I can't stop laughing I can't believe I just read a Wolfstar x Great British Bake Off fic this is the best this about fanfiction- you can do literally whatever you like. It started quite sweet and honestly really cute, the actual show stuff was cute, there was a bit of smut nearer the end though. But the creator made sure that you can skip it if you want to, which is good. 3.5 ⭐️

Gosh I actually cannot believe we have equivalent-of-One-Direction-ex-boyband-singer-songwriter-turned-cohost-of-a-baking-show Sirius Black AND we got baker extraordinaire Remus Disaster Lupin... honestly. How am I supposed to survive that. I need to stop. But I am on a roll.

I also told myself while I was reading this I would not be adding it to my Goodreads challenge, as it was less than 1000 pages. Then I said, screw that. It's on Goodreads. I read it. It counts.

YUMMM!!!!! This was the most fun concept ever, wdym Remus is a contestant of the great British bake off and Sirius is one of the presenters?? It was just so fun and cute.

I loved Remus and Sirius in this. I don’t usually read just wolfstar fics, but it was so worth it. And there wasn’t even the usual third act break up, it was so happy and joyful.

I also loved the side characters, the other contestants and friends and family. James and Lily, as well as Arthur, Peter and Mary particularly stood out. I really liked the scenery descriptions, the Marylebone scenes were really fun, literally my dream day out. The mention of Regulus killed me, trust him to be in one of the only sad scenes in the whole fic.

This was, in all honesty, one of the most beautiful fics I've ever read.

Little to no angst, absolutely the sweetest thing in the world. From their first interaction, I felt like they KNEW each other already, from another lifetime, from another universe, but from the start the way they were so gentle and lovely with each other GOD.

Basically, just wholesomeness and sweetness and them falling in love with each other in such a natural way that they didn't even realize it at first. Soulmates meant for each other in every life, in every universe. It had me sobbing for how SWEET AND ADORABLE it was. I loved every single second of it.

Wow, this was really different and new from all the other fanfics I've read before. Very interesting. Baker remus is actually a really, really nice change, and it was perfectly implemented. The whole Idea with the bake of was so great and nicely written. AND OMG REMUS DESASTER LUPIN, LOVE IT. also really like the idea of the little tweets infront of the chapters, that was very cute. All in all an amazingly written piece that was a lot of fun to read

I rate this a 3.75 maybe 4 stars I enjoyed this story ass well as all of the characters pretty much, I liked the overall build up of the story and seeing them get to know each other and spend time together I wish we could see then a few months or years down the line but besides that I enjoyed it and am glad I read it

This was so GOOD. Not every fic has to be all drama angsty to be interesting and this proves that. It was so cozy and fun to read. For me the ending was a bit too much smut and in comparison to the rest of the story (why dont write sex the first 75% and then when the plot comes in spend most of ur time writing about sex?) anyway i still enjoyed it:) great story
