Once again this is me just wiling to read any jegulus related books & always enjoying them.
Barty crouch, best character?? Id be lying if I said no. This is my absolute fave characterisation of him like he’s so annoyed & mysterious. Likeee ‘pouty hockey player boy’ - so accurate. Rosekiller in this too 🥹

What in the world was this fic. It broke me and then joined me all back together thought I do feel there are a few pieces missing from me. ANDDD piece of advice do not read this is public it took me all my might not to start crying. AND THE ROSEKILLER!!!!!! Engrave this into my bones the day I die. I love how every character has been showed as a good character a well (in their own way). Snape's characterization was definitely a very interesting aspect of this fic.

Barty smiles then, swaying closer to Evan, “I love when you call me that.” (messermoon was out for blood her)
-“Bee?” he calls out before Barty can completely disappear. The other boy stops, reluctantly turning
around. His shoulders are tense, and he’s still doing his best not to look at Evan. “What…was
this?”
He doesn’t know why he’s asking. Doesn’t know why it feels like it’s always up to Barty. Maybe
because he’s the one who starts it.
After a long pause Barty finally meets his gaze, wearing that same empty expression he had the
first day Evan met him.
“Nostalgia,” he says without feeling. Turning on his heel and walking away. (rosekiller my babies!!!!)

i loved this so much 😭😭 rosekiller is one of my favorite ships and i think it was written so well in here. i like to think of barty as a pouty mysterious hockey player when i’m used to him being an insane psychopath. i also LOVED deaf remus too, it was so sweet how everyone learned to sign for him and AHHH wolfstar is the top ship of them all (i love jealous sirius) 🤭🤭 and jegulus oml james is so sweet and poor reggie doesn’t understand 😭 reg he literally loves you please stop pushing him away!! but it worked out in the end so it’s all good. i wasn’t the biggest fan of this version of regulus, and the jegulus went a bit too fast for me, but otherwise it was very good :)

empezó TAN pero tan bien y que todo haya sido kinda rusheado no autorizo la verdad
pd iba a darle 4 estrellas pero la puta mierda que han hecho con mis rosekiller pagaras por esto como me haces esta mierda A MI
en fin una experiencia muy chula me ha gustado mucho pero el rosekiller de 1000 dolares que ha pasado a ser de numeros rojos no me ha hecho ninguna gracia

this was cute, I think? but there was sooo much angst (surprise surprise, that's what you get for looking up jegulus fics...)
rosekiller (though this name truly doesn't do the ship justice here) was amaaaaaziiiinngggg!!!
and wolfstar was cute too, though it took AGES for the relationship to develop (I really liked deaf Remus!!)
marylily & dorlene 10/10 as always (though the wlw ships were proportionally underrepresented :/)
anyway, everyone was kind of struggling for 90% of the story, and I would have liked a bit more happy time :((
(seems to be too much to ask for in this fandom, but please please please it has to exist somewhere?)

Creo que tenía las expectativas demasiado altas pero vamos que no está mal sobretodo el cómo está escrito que es perfecto.
El que haya tantos cambios de pov no me ha gustado porque me rompía la inmersión y hacía que las escenas me supieran a poco ademas de que la mitad de las plots me daban igual pero bueno para gustos colores.
Y bueno luego la Cerci que es un oc self-insert con complejo de hijabi amputee que necesitaría ser yo bastante más woke para no tenerle tirria.
Lo que más me ha gustado es cómo describe las escenas de los ataques de pánico y de la ansiedad, se han sentido muy reales por lo raros y lo terroríficos. Ha tenido una manera muy original de escribir esas sensaciones que para mí han reflejado perfectamente cómo son en la realidad.

A ver, hear me out. Está bien, sí, pero es que a mi el tema de que cada 5 páginas me cambies de personaje y que en el mismo capitulo me cambies de pareja como 4 veces mínimo pues me desorienta un poco.
Me esperaba más hockey, a lo mejor que regulus patinara pero es que el hockey era como muy importante y a la vez no era importante, osea...irónico, pero poco hockey en mi opinión.

ngl the cover of this gave me quite the expectation that we'd be getting figure skater regulus but it's fine because the rest of the story was wonderful. i really do love fanfic. what a treat!
