I enjoyed each volume and would explore more from this author, particularly to keep me company while I work, as they don't require my full attention. I do feel the author has skills and if she ever ventures more into world-building, I'd be here for it. I'd have liked to see more of the world, as the romances themselves are cute, but lack originality.
Overall though, 3.5 stars. A good time.

Crux, book 1
My first Kate Rudolph read and I immediately went on to read 2 more so clearly I’m now a fan.
Thanks to the author for distributing the audio wide, so that I could borrow it from my local library.
Crux and Courtney were both likeable and I enjoyed the world very much. While opening a book with a human waking up and discovering she’s been kidnapped by alien traffickers is FAR from original … it still had a very cute vibe to it and I enjoyed it enough to go right into book 2.
I’d have liked to see more of the world, but perhaps other books deeper into the series will aid with this.
3.5 stars.
Audio -
The narration was okay … not bad by any means. Good enough that I’d listen to more from this narrator if the book was interesting enough.
I did have to bump the speed up to 3.0 though in order to be able to stand it, as he spoke verrryyyy slooowwwlllyyyy.
Ranger, book 2
I read this immediately following book 1 (and right before book 3) … this was a quick, fun read and it’s really light, despite the dark subject matter because the author doesn’t show a ton of the world, and she focuses more on the romance.
3.5 stars.
Audio -
The narrator spoke really slowly, I had to bump up the speed to 3.0 in order to tolerate it, but once I did that it was good enough.
Saber, book 3
Listened to this one immediately following book 2 … so I sort of devoured 3 books in one sitting. They were great companions on a morning walk, and while I worked and performed some household tasks.
Here’s what all 3 have in common:
-Super sweet heroes
-Left me wanting to see more of the world
-Steamy scenes, fairly hot though much like so many others I’ve read/heard.
-Relatable characters
This installment included some villainous parents which added a bit of fun, but I felt this was pretty glazed-over.
Overall, fun listens to work / exercise to and I’d gladly read more from this author.
3.5 stars.
Audio-
Not bad, once I adjusted the speed to 3.0. The narrator’s voice was pleasant enough, though he does speak extremely slowly.
Overall though, 3.5 stars. A good time.

Crux - This story finds Courtney abducted, escaped, rescued by Crux, returned to earth and finally a happy ending. I liked the integration of the psychic mate finder into the typical alien abduction and rescue scenario. Crux’s space bounty hunter buddies were great, and the twist of mates sharing each other’s powers was a neat twist. Jonathon Waters narrated the audio book and his rendition of Crux is superb - a slight accent and a little bit haughty (he is a prince, you know).
Ranger - This time the dragon prince Ranger needed to be rescued before he could do the rescuing himself! I loved all the action in this story, and the evacuation had me on the edge of my seat. Jonathon Waters narrated the audio book and his rendition of the story was superb.
Saber - this time, the youngest prince (Saber) has to take a bride. He opts to go the arranged marriage route and is betrothed to Lady Mirage. The start is rocky, but when she stows away on his ship and they crash landing together, a deserted planet and having to survive helps them bond. I loved when the dragons flew together - both daring and free, the description of their flights was wonderful. Once again, Jonathon Waters brings Saber and Mirage to life with his narration.

Good stories!!
I thought these stories were uniquely written. Not your typical “my mate” storyline. In fact, the didn’t even recognize their mate at first, which was a nice change from usual.
The one thing I didn’t like is I felt the stories cut off a bit short. Like there’s missing answers or pieces to the HEA. For example I believe it was book 1 where, she never even met the dragon king after all the fuss about him not approving his mate because she was human. Each book had a something similar but I suppose I can use my imagination to fill in some of the story as I felt it would have gone.
But seriously, I did enjoy these stories and the overall uniqueness.
The narration was fantastic. Jonathan Waters always performs wonderfully.
This is a box set books 1-3 each with an HEA, and can be read as standalones.

Audible Audiobook Version
Three interesting short stories with fun and likable characters. Well written and balanced with plenty of sarcasm, fun banter, steamy bits and action scenes. I would recommend this collection.

Dragons are the hottest lovers.
I thought the books were great fun. They had adventure and everyone of them had a great ending can't wait to find out who their dad finds.

I listened to these books but the audiobook wasn't a choice. They are all cute stories. I reviewed them separately.

The first short novel in this volume is about dragon Prince Crux and roller skating carhop Courtney. It was a nice enough story and I enjoyed it. It was pretty much the typical alien abduction trope with the hero not only being an alien but a shape shifting one at that. I got a kick out of the fact that Courtney was abducted while still wearing her skates. It was funny and different.
The story had a nice rhythm to it but I was bit disappointed in the world building. We learned very little about Crux’s home. One thing that I truly disliked about the story is that while it’s supposed to be an Intergalactic Dating Agency type of thing there was no scene or details of a dating agency. It all happened “off page”. Crux thinks “I’ll go see the matchmaker” and then he’s stepping onto the planet that Courtney was on.
