This book covers the historical development of Indian cuisine, including Vedic, Buddhism, Jain, Muslim, European, and different regional variations. The authors include a few pictures and a few recipes but the book is mostly a menu guide with an alphabetical index describing various foods and spices and is meant as a travel guide for tourists.
