Manik, forced by circumstances to keep a low profile with the Eastford Chapter, finds himself irresistibly drawn to Lexi's strength and resilience. As their lives collide on a fateful night, both are forced to confront their demons and question the possibility of finding redemption and lasting love. But as the ghosts of their pasts continue to haunt them, they must decide if they are capable of recognizing the good within the heart-wrenching bad.

*spoilers* Not bad book but felt it missed the mark a lot of times. To me 10 years is a long time spent in prison for attempted murder/ battery but that’s just the lawyer brain in me. The ending was not great I felt like there’s a big chunk missing and would’ve liked to have seen an epilogue with a nice hea or an inkling of what’s going on in the future. At the beginning I didn’t like the age gap but I got over it it’s still unusual for the women to be 10 years older but I think it’s just cause it’s not something I’m used to. Personally I would’ve preferred more of a 5 year age gap but that’s me and again the age difference was written in a way that made you question why not? There was a lot of killings in which I felt was drastic and a bit like wasted pages. The ex girlfriend didn’t do anything it was very boring I was hoping for more drama so in turn I skimmed over that a bit because I felt like it was irrelevant. Same thing with the kidnapping it was just meh we didn’t even get to see the interaction with the kidnapper that much so it was confusing. However I loved the relationship between the brother and sister and the support they have for each other! Overall it was okay but nothing special and felt like it could’ve gone further but unfortunately it just missed its mark!
I love this series but most especially Psycho. Even though this book is not his exact story he is a major character. I love the chemistry between Manik and Lexi and I hope there are more stories to come in this series. This story has sadness but also hope and love.
Holy smokes what a great beginning to a new series. These two have pasts that come back to read their ugly heads. Their chemistry is smoking hot and I loved how they easily opened up to one another. I really loved seeing her brother Psycho and Manik work together when she needed the the most. I can't wait to see more of them in the future after reading the epilogue.
Lexi Mitchell, psycho’s sister, Evie’s best friend and little sister to the whole club is finally out of prison after 10 yrs and we finally know why she was inside. She doesn’t expect to meet a brother from another chapter who is laying low at the clubhouse. Life will never be the same for her, him psycho or Evie….. in a good way
I was a fan of Lexi since her brother Psycho’s book. Their sibling bond was tight due to the hardships they faced growing up. Their relationship was just as important to the success of this story, as her romance with Manik was. Great read.
I had high hopes for this after the first chapter but it went down hill from there it had the makings of a good story but it failed to deliver for me I was board and that is kor a good thing for me because I'm not going to want to read the rest when they come out
Fantastic read, brilliantly written, everything you’d want in an MC book. Jealous ex girlfriend, kidnapping, mayhem. I absolutely loved Manik and Lexi’s story ❤️❤️❤️ after being incarcerated for 10 years she finally gets to live free. When Lexi first meets Manix she leaves him flabbergasted 😮 all he can think is ‘Is she for real’ 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you won’t be disappointed 😎
