This book was actually promoted by Prigozhin shortly before he was assassinated (or was not so careful with a grenade, if you buy the official line). This is a work of fiction about a guy working in a Russian army intelligence unit, and covers the period of Russian invasion of Ukraine. What makes this books interesting is that it was supposedly written by an author, who has some understanding of the inner workings of the modern Russian army - i.e. rampant corruption, higher-ups, only interested in money, etc., etc. The picture painted would confirm what most Russians think is really happening in the army. Yes, it has a pro-Kremlin "happy end" and some of the scenes are painfully bad, but still interesting read, approved by Prigozhin, who knew the situation from the inside.
