This decently (albeit temporarily, as always) satisfied the endless black hole that is my mafia romance craving. Super solid and I will definitely be reading book two when it comes out.

Please for the love of God stop using the word kinkster. And if a man kept calling his dick his “bull” in front of me, I’d definitely kick him in the balls and run. Seriously, the word bull was used 60 times in this book. I checked because I thought I was losing my damn mind. Alessia was wayy too desperate of an h, I was just embarrassed for her at all times.

“Bastian leaves me no choice but to handcuff myself to his bedpost. Waiting for his arrival is torture. Every footstep has me jumping. Every noise garners my intense concentration. How long is he going to ignore me? Does he truly believe nothing’s changed?”

How about a little self respect please.
Also, this guy was having constant threesomes in front of you, and you’re not even a little worried about STDs? She still followed him around like a lost puppy and when we finally get the sex scene at like 50 chapters in, it’s quick and disappointing. Bastian sounds sexy on paper but something was missing from him being a true alpha type, maybe it was the constant manwhore behavior and having sex parties when you’re a 40 year old father of two adult children idk.

Awww what a sweet and Oh so 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 story!!!
Bastion is a bada$$ MF controlling Mafia capo and he’s fallen hard for his son’s fiancé arranged marriage of course cuz it’s the Mafia after all.
He’s a man in control of it all until he’s not and watching him fall for Alessia is so much fun!!


Alessia sees Bastian in a somewhat kinky moment and she’s been totally enthralled with him and his dominant kinky side ever since. Shes a born submissive but in no way is she a door mat or wallflower she knows what she wants and goes after it! I loved her character she’s so loving down to earth sweet with a dark kinky side.

Bastian has twin sons Sandro and Renzo (23) who he loves fiercely and they work for him in family business.

I just discovered Michele Mannon’s books and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE her writing style it’s so engaging and she describes the world she built in a detailed way without being overly flowery and wordy and the best part is she is NOT a repetitive writer and I APPRECIATE that sooooo much nothing makes me more annoyed than repetition in my stories!!!
The smexy times are sooo 🥵 without having to be 10 pages long so I like that too!
I love good witty banter and realistic dialogue and the 3 books I’ve read by Ms Mannon has it all!!!
Sandro’s story is up next and I cannot wait to this hardazz control freak to fall in love!!! 🤭

I normally round up when I rate a book, but I couldn't find it in myself to do so with this book. I found it really challenging to keep engaged while reading this and it took me a month, off and on to finish it.

Everyone in the book makes Sebastiano this huge, big bad man, and there isn't really much to support this. Alessia is a young virgin girl who has to marry one of Bastian's sons, but she's got the lust for the Dad. It was such an odd book - Alessia does nothing but cook and sit around in her skimpy bathing suits, Bastian does nothing but talk. There's also a crap-ton of people and you just can't remember who is who. After a certain point, I just gave up.

And, Bastian's package is The Bull. But, do you see 'the bull' much in this book? NOPE. So, if you are baited by the 'spicy' Dark Mafia - skip this. The spice is minimal and lacking.

The ending is also really rushed so it does wrap up, but in the weirdest way.

*SPOILER ALERT*
The main old Capo dude, or whatever he was, is creepy throughout this whole book. Like, he's a 70-80 year old man who gives off predatory vibes, loves Alessia's cooking and cookies, all of the sudden is like, "Alessia, you remind me of my wife," and he turns into a sweet old man. And then he feels that Bastian should marry Alessia and not Bastian's son. WHAT?! I'm not kidding - it's like one chapter he's this old creepy man, and then next he's someone completely different. Yes, the dude was dying, but it was a total whiplash for me.

Again, this book took me a month to read. It just was not engaging enough, the pacing was off, and there wasn't much to the storyline to want me to keep reading. I try not to NOT finish books, so I had to really push myself to finish this book. The only good thing about this book is Andrew Biernat on the cover.

Wonderful mafia romancr

This is an age gap romance between Alyssa &Sebastian head of a mafia organization. Bastian happens to be the father of Alyssa chosen groom. Get this she offered herself since her sister was suppose to marry Bastian son however a sex tape emerges. Alyssa is a virgin and Bastian is a pervert but have many thing in common. They both love art and good food. I won't spoil it. Its a really good story about these two interesting peop!e who fall in love. Read it!

Sebastiano’s sons both were in love with someone, but they knew it was a duty to marry for the family.
Alessia didn’t want the marriage, but she knew for her family had to go through with it.
Sebastiano knows that Alessia is a temptation, but he wants her close even though she belongs to his son. Deciding to put for a wedding date doesn’t help, she’s still there tempting him.
Alessia knows the one she wants is Sebastiano and decides to test him at every point. Will Sebastian decide to have what he wants for once, others can see what he wants but he knows that she’s promised to his son. Will he change that or continue to torture himself.

Omg, Michelle hit it. This was absolutely brilliant. Such a great book!
This was about Alessia who was entered into an arranged marriage to the son of Mafia Don, Bastian.
This was hot, steamy but not overly, dramatic, and intense. I enjoyed the slow build of the relationship well especially for him as she had a crush before hand.
It was extremely romantic and I loved that dynamic between them.
Well written with just the best characters and a plot that gripped me from start to finish. I honestly couldn't put it down. I'll be looking for more from this author, that's for sure.

spectacular read😍🔥

Addictive, enthralling, Bastian was a fierce, swoon worthy male lead that was undeniably authoritative , and sweet innocent Alessia was his perfect match. These two, if you rubbed them together, would catch on fire. 😂 The plot was brilliant, the characters were perfect & I was more definitely along for the ride. ( I inhaled this book from start to finish- it was in-put-down-able!!.) All the feels & action in this mafia read, and a HEA to sweep you off your feet. Love, loved, LOVED this story! 🫶🏻

Lots of kink mentioned but this felt rather vanilla? Or are my standards just unreasonable?

I liked the storyline a lot! But when you're going to do an age gap type thing it's just weird to call a virgin's poo-say "baby poo-say" y'know. Also, butt plug in all day.. she didn't need to drop a deuce at any point? The ethereal being she is?

I felt it was a bit much, gorgeous, can cook etc I really like my heroines more flawed.

I am totally captivated by Dante, Sandro and Renzo and will be hunting down their books.

Good but confusing

Had its moments. Some of the Mafioso plots required reading and re-reading to grasp what was happening. Was a bit confusing the way it was told.
Some parts seemed very random. Like the part where Alessia speaks to the woman at the cemetery. Feels like this was included as a link to the second book.

3.5 stars, 4 spice. It was a pretty good book. It was too long for the plot of the book. The spice didn't necessarily overwhelm the plot, but it was the plot of the book, basically. I think it could have been 75 to 100 pages less and been a real good, erotic book. I might read the next in the series, but probably not.

Surprised by how much I enjoyed this story. I'd never read this author before (that I can remember), but it was decently written and the angsty love story was hot. I do have a couple of things that really irked me tho - it's StrOnzo, not StrAnzo and Italians do NOT use forks to eat spaghetti unless they're bambinos or infirm. That aside, I would read this author again.

Got the book with SYKD, and it was an OK book. The story wasn't too bad, but it missednsome action (and not just between the sheets).
Personal pet peeve: the MMC "small friend" referred as "tha bull" made me laugh the first time and then cringe, a lot.
