Most people don't want to believe that everything is done because of money. The Predator definitely confirms this concept, but also gives great advice of how to take part in it. To quote the author, "Today, predators create businesses, opportunities, and ideas that generate money. Prey consume content, purchase products, and exist as sources of monetization." As blatant as that is, it's the truth. This book is filled to the brim with various guidelines and suggestions to build a company from scratch using marketing techniques, creating whatever type/brand of content suitable for each individual person, and first person experience of failures and successes. A great tool to have for anyone looking to start making money doing what they love, or even to strengthen the company they may already have going.

This book is an excellent push off point for anyone getting started in online business/marketing or trying to reignite the flame of motivation in an online endeavor that has maybe fizzled out. Short and sweet, it really gave me a good staring point to try other methods of online business building and helped me understand what I dod wrong with some of my ideas endeavors that didn’t end as well. I think this is an excellent book that is honest and real, and doesn’t take itself too seriously or claim to “make you a millionaire in 30 days” when they’re just taking advantage of you. This book is really intended to help and to inspire, which is the best part.

Motivated me to continue on my online business journey
This book came right on time for me. I have been trying to get things started online, but not exactly sure how. This book is filled with so much information that helped me cut out getting lost in many useless videos that claim they will help. For me, chapter 6 really got me. That chapter explained a lot in details, confirmed some things I suspected, and motivated me to continue on my journey of an online business.
An easy to read book, very reasonable price, and will provide you the information you need to make better decisions on how to move forward with your plan. I highly recommend getting this!

There's so much information out there, and Jason and Elena have made it so much easier for those who want to start their careers online a little easier. It's a quick read with a lot of information that is helpful. I highly recommend this book to those wanting to start their career online. They also give you different information, from Amazon to Spotify playlists. Of these options, I did not know where even options, so that was even better. 10/10 recommend.

Consistent effort and strategy can generate online revenue
With “The Predator: Unleash Your Online Success,” Jason A. Burlin has written a book for our tech-infused times. Those looking to earn money online in a strategic manner should give it a read.
In an authentic, conversational way, Burlin begins by relating that people can either be prey online, meaning they consume material and buy products, or they can be “predators,” those who generate money for themselves. “The first step of moving up the food chain is earning more money than you spend online,” he writes. That’s good advice if you want to do more than just scroll and watch other people do their thing in the virtual world.
I’ve done some of the things in this book that Burlin recommends, and in reading “The Predator,” I learned a lot about how I can better monetize my blog, books, and ads. I remember self-publishing my first few books when the online world barely existed. Nowadays there are so many opportunities to strategically promote and earn money from the creative work you do. Burlin emphasizes more than once, however, that it usually takes a great deal of patience and effort to succeed in this realm, though sometimes people do massively monetize their creative online work in a short amount of time.
I love the author’s incredible work ethic and the humbleness he displays in describing his initial efforts at trying to earn money in varied ways. Burlin is a go-getter who learned different lessons the hard way. Even today, after he’s finally had some successes, Burlin still has what he calls “failures” that he learns from. At the start of the book, he talks about implementing more than 200 business concepts in the last decade and attempting to make money a ton of times before at last striking gold. Now he’s earned the right to tell his tale.
Burlin goes in depth on several online money-making topics that many people might be familiar with, and a few areas that folks perhaps haven’t heard of before, such as trying to earn revenue from Spotify playlists. Great Overview for making money online
Normally I wouldn’t have grabbed a book with this type of title. But the author’s analogy makes sense - predators are the ones maximizing their income online and prey are the consumers. I appreciate the breakdown of how online ads work and have a greater appreciation for the processes for ad targeting. I think this book is a great starting place for people who want to learn how to make money online. I do feel some chapters would benefit from a reminder to follow copyright laws, but otherwise a great overview with lots of useful information.

Burlin has a wealth of experience. I felt like his book narrowed down all the noise and told the real story. He gave specific examples, defined all the key need-to-know terms and acronyms, and gave recommendations for many ways to get started today. Can’t wait to put it into practice.

A great read on marketing for people who may know a little about it or not a lot. It was well organized and easy to read. The author did an excellent job breaking down the terminology and offered a variety of ways to get started. He was also realistic in the approach of how to make each idea work. There were a few things I hadn’t thought of as well.
