He bullied me horribly and gave me a forbidden, secret baby girl. Now he’s back, in our small town, and my pack forces me to negotiate with him.I’m an outcast, used to insults, and I have no choice but to follow orders.I want to forget how he rejected and tormented me. But I’m not allowed. My pack needs his protection. He’s the alpha of the black ops after all.I have to put my pack above my feelings. So why can’t I?I should be ashamed of myself, of the way he still makes me tingle.I should stay away from his mansion, but all it does is make me want my baby’s daddy more. They say that whatever you deny yourself becomes your new prison. I can only confirm.I’m a prisoner of the way he hurt me with his ice cold tongue.I’m a prisoner of the way he heals me with his cruel raw touch.Do I want him to stop using me for his own purposes?Or do I want the alpha to expose my everything? The Silver Wolves Black Ops have only three rules to live find a mate, protect her no matter the cost, and create babies. They don’t compromise, they don’t get distracted, and they never, ever give up, even when you beg them to.
Ruby lives on a farm with her two daughters and husband. Besides horses, chickens, and a donkey, she sometimes imagines that there are other types of animals on her farm, too... Animals that turn into Very Hot Men at night to look for their mates... Whenever that happens, she turns to her computer and writes down the paranormal love stories of these rough Wolf, Bear, and Dragon shifters who will destroy any obstacle to protect their mate. Come and enjoy the steamy, suspenseful, and slightly sweaty adventures of Ruby's shifter romance world.
Pretty good! There's nothing great or new here, but it scratches an itch.
I was a little bit confused about why Georgia's parents and uncle call her a whore, but her friend is all about her getting laid. I couldn't tell if wolves were sexually open or not. What is their culture, exactly? Why did Georgia stay in this pack at all?
If Jamison and Georgia have such a great connection, why didn't he even remember her last name? It was weird for him to suddenly be in love with her when he had virtually no memory of her before she walked through the door.
For some reason, I was in a really weird mood over the weekend for rejected shifter romances. This one was good and look forward to my next one. Please don't judge me lol.
This entire series is just ho hum. If they followed the description in the blurb about finding mates, keeping mates and making babies it’d be better. But the books mostly follow the same formula.
The heroes don’t realize the heroines are their mates right away. They all ghosted the heroines in the past, with the exception of Luke. Then the heroines accidentally get pregnant. No trying to make babies like the blurb implies, all accidental. There’s a stalker or obsessed OM and they are killed. HEA
In this book the hero changes his appearance three times. Starts with sandy hair, ends with black hair. There’s multiple inconsistencies like this throughout the whole series, as well as random time jumps that don’t flow smoothly.
I read Lukes book, but he was just gross (see my notes about him checking out his ex lover while his pregnant baby mama is missing) and the next 2 were boring.
I loved rejected mate trope and i thought there would be more angts and heartaches but not to be. Instead it's a sweet second chance romance which i enjoyed a lot.
Georgia is a wolf shifter who grew up with parents who didn’t really care for her. She was an outcast among her pack. One of the worst tormentors happens to be the one her wolf is attracted to. Jameson was an alpha even when he was young. He tormented Georgia relentlessly growing up. When Georgia was seventeen Jameson noticed how attractive she was, she had grown into a beautiful curvy woman. Jameson asked Georgia to a going away party that was being thrown for him and his best friend Luke but Georgia knew she wouldn’t be accepted. Jameson asked Georgia to meet him in the clearing she agreed. They talked and drank and they ended up having sex. Georgia got up the courage to tell Jameson that she thought she was in love with him and his response was oh sh**. Georgia ran away. Jameson left the next day to join the Silver Wolves Black Ops Military. Ten years later Jameson has retired from the service and he bought a mansion with Luke, Klyte, Oliver, Sam and Alek. Georgia is summoned by her uncle Callum the Alpha of the pack in Brixton. Callum wants Georgia to talk to Jameson about helping with feral shifters. Georgia has a nice little house and a nine year old daughter Elle, she doesn’t want Jameson to find out that he has a daughter. Georgia goes to the mansion to talk to Jameson, her wolf is excited to see Jameson again. Jameson has never forgotten the scent of Georgia and he scents her before he sees her. Jameson is happy to see Georgia again. Georgia tells Jameson that Callum needs his help. The next day Jameson talks to Callum but he is not convinced that Callum is being truthful. When he gets done he sees Georgia and Elle walking down the street. He meets Elle and there is a connection. Will Callum get what he wants? Will Georgia tell Jameson that Elle is his daughter? Will Jameson react the way Georgia feared or will he be happy? Will the Silver Wolves come to the rescue of Brixton? Will Jameson and Georgia finally get together? Will Jameson and Georgia find love and happiness together? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Fantastic Rejected Mate Secret Baby Black Ops romance! I’m
There is nothing special or original about this story. It is literally the same ol song and dance as other rejected mate second chance romance.
He and his friends bully and harass her as children to teens. They have a ONS and she gets pregnant. He “rejects her” and leaves for the military. It’s not quite a rejection because he doesn’t even know she is his mate. But she feels this rejection for years.
Of course they reconnect after 10 years, and he has no memory of the cruel things he did to her let alone any idea of the child he left her to raise all alone. She’s mad… but not really. It’s very frustrating as a reader trying to connect with a character and be mad for her but the MFC never holds him accountable for anything he did to her.
It’s the typical second chance crap…I want him, but he hurt me. He’s a bastard, but he’s so sexy. He abandoned me, but he’s the father of my child. I shouldn’t do this, but I’m going to have sex with him…
He didn’t do anything to earn her forgiveness except be sexy. Have sex with her. And be her mate.

Ruby Knoxx is a new to me author, anyone who knows me, knows I love me a Wolfie book so when I saw this I jumped right in.
The world and interpretations of this book really intrigued me. Im always looking forward to how people interpret or put spins on a subject/genre that is common. This one while not a whole lot different it was the subtle things that I enjoyed and surprised me. The whole black ops detail and how they operate or their standing in this world was fascinating and I would often wonder the thought behind it. I thik what I enjoyed most was how this is a supernatural book but it felt very human, and how the author was able to keep the distinction but have that subtle touch was great.
I didn’t get the whole “bully” vibe from the book other than her parents and the alpha of her Pack but I put that down to mainly resentment and that the Alpha was like that to everyone didn’t give the impression it was about the FMC so I was a little bit disappointed in that part. Yes we got glimpses of it when she was recalling the past but there wasn’t really a whole lot.
I would have also like a bit more drama or suspense when there was drama, just to keep me on the edge of my seat more and make the story feel more emotionally impactful. The story was very quick but it was still a good read, somewhat of a pallet cleanser or something to kind of get you started in this genre.
Im curious to see how the authors writing develops so ill definitely be checking out some of her other work.
Harley was bullied constantly by Marus and his friends when she was young, but she had a major crush on him. The night before he leaves to join up, he gets together with Harley, but afterwards, when she tells him she loves him, he gets tongue-tied and she flees thinking he is rejecting her. Now nine years later, they meet again and she has his nine-year-old secret daughter that he knows nothing about. I really enjoyed this story, however I felt Harley let him off too easily for his past indiscretions: yes, he has matured and is different now, but I would have verbally beaten him over the head a bit more to really get across how mean they had all been to her. I loved that Harley was a tough mum who protected her daughter, even from her grandparents. The interactions with the Silver Wolves were what you would expect from guys who had served together and could easily function as a fine oiled engine, especially when threatened. Loved the climax of the story and can’t wait for the next in series.
I really loved the start of what will be an excellent series. The story line was great. Flow was very good. I loved the two main MC Georgia and Jameson. I liked how Georgia learned to stand up for herself. She was very protective of her daughter. Jameson was an alpha. He had his own pack. They were retired from the military. I liked how the bullying in Georgia's life ( and not just from Jameson and his friends) was spread out in the book. We get a glimpse of what her life was growing up and present day. She over come adversities with grace and compassion. The romance was slow to come but it did have steam. I liked that as well. She did not trust Jameson. He had to earn her trust. The light bulb going off about what they were was fun to read. Action from page one. and the HEA was enchanting. I received an ARC from the author with no obligation to my honest review.
Georgia was bullied by Jameson and his friends, years ago when they were kids, but at some point it changed, then Jameson broke hear heart. She moved packs, and now Jameson and his pack have become neighbours of her new pack. Her Uncle sends Georgia to talk to Jameson and help their pack with an issue they have. What will happen when Georgia sees Jameson again? Will Georgia's secret come out? I enjoyed Georgia and Jameson's story, the steam between them, their history and how it all played out. I liked Georgia's daughter Elle, she's a cutie. I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received, and giving my thoughts and opinions on it.
This was an easy light read that, at times, are all you are looking for. I wasn't sure why I got this original as I'm not keen on bully stories, but I know some people can get over that stage and really regret their actions. This storyline follows that script. Why I say light read is because I prefer my storylines with more depth and details, whereas I found myself wondering and making up my details throughout this book. The characters were appealing, so you read to find out how things worked out even though you could have a good guess and be correct.
Dnf. This was just a little boring. The "bullying" part was brief and stopped a year before the H left. It makes no sense that the h got pregnant and didn't tell the H. They were getting on just fine when she dropped the L bomb on him and got embarrassed that he looked stunned, so she ran off. Why she expected anything different when they barely even spoke is a mystery? Anyway, this story could have been written using Ai with how formulaic and uninspired it is. I'll be avoiding this "authur" in future.

Two young people that are kepted a part by the young woman 's family came together after ten years apart him to find that he had a daughter and that he also had a mate which was the girl he feel in love with when they were still in school is also his mate.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm.
Another bully who never realized he was being a bully. Not my cup of tea. Especially because some of the bullying was pretty bad. Not the kind of thing he would do to his real friends.
Also trying to pretend like he wasn't the dad was never going to work. Come on. The more she pretended, the more cringey it was.
Lastly, they weren't "mates." In this world, mates are just chosen. It's not like they are fated mates.
I was happy with the storyline but the end was a little abrupt. Overall the characters were well written, but the typical werewolf structure is not present. Like how mates work, marking, inner dialogue with their wolf is not present so if you are a stickler about that this book might frustrate you.
It’s hardly a rejected mate book. They don’t really even mention being mates until they reconnect and then some. But the book is a quick read and there is a secret baby and it’s definitely second chance romance. I liked all the characters even if her parents never had their comeuppance.
Good book, different-ish storyline, interesting that few things different than typical “mate” books… none of that ✨magical moment✨ of “can never live without you; mate” 😉 and they don’t communicate to each other via wolf telecommunications…lol, and the awfulness of the Uncle, and even her own parents… suspenseful, drama, lusty😈 never mess with a Mama who loves her kid!!! 🐺🐺🐺🐺

This could’ve been great but the FMC, though strong in many ways, gave the MMC, her former tormentor) no hell whatsoever for all the crap he did to her. The minute he showed interest, she was on board. My fav part of the Rejected Mate trope is the girl giving the big bad wolf hell for what he’s done so this wasn’t my speed at all.
This book was pretty good. Georgia was bullied all her life. First from her parents and Jameson and his friends. Then as an adult by her parents and her uncle. Jamison never realized that the pranks he pulled were not just pranks. I liked the story line and enjoyed the characters. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
I enjoyed this story but it didn’t have anything new to it. It also had a few holes and the H for have the h way to quickly and I just didn’t buy the mate thing. But it was light and fun so 3.5 stars and I will move on the second in the series…which is what drew me to them in the first place.
I am sure Georgia is Eris. This is the reason they treated her the way they did. Callum saved the infant but we do not know where she was after. It makes perfect sense to make that assumption. Am I right? I am not sure. The story was incomplete. The author wasted time on the smut when she needed to develop other areas. Idk… it is what it is.
Had a great vibe and reading flow! The story was great and well told/developed. Had a nice pace and gave enough details to suck you into the story and keep you turning or scrolling to find out what happened next. Looking forward to the reading the rest of the books. Great start!
This was an excellent read, but I have to say it kept you going. no matter what you read be it the next page, the next chapter. Absolutely phenomenal. You’ll love this book.
