The eighteenth book of the Vineyard Sunset Series is coming next. This vibrant cast of characters live out their dreams on Martha's Vineyard. This is the story of the Sheridan and Montgomery siblings, a heartwarming journey of friendship, loss, and love that will have you wanting the next book.
Katie writes women's fiction and clean, wholesome contemporary romance. She looks to everyday, real-life family issues to weave stories of heartfelt emotions, love and loss, and everything in between.
Come transport yourself to Martha's Vineyard: an island of vivid blue ocean, white sand, and a lively community of locals, who celebrate everything from the bright New England summers to the cold, yet cozy, snowcapped winters.
Vineyard Winds book 18 in the Vineyard Sunset Series is just as good, mysterious and loving as all the others in the series. Katie Winters is an excellent author and all her characters are like real life people. My only question is in all 18 books no matter what is going on they ALL drink cups & cups and more cups of coffee!!! Every character drinks more coffee than the British drink tea!!
That's not what Vineyard Winds is about. Claire's twin daughters Gail & Abby and their cousin Rachel were 18 and in their first year at university. Things have not gone well for the girls. Lots of bickering that never happened before. Then after the new year, Gail goes missing. No one could find her. So Rina, who is a detective is hired to find her. In the meantime, Claire finds out her husband, who travels for work was acting strange. Rina got a call from her father when all this was going on, her Mom was in an accident and in poor condition. So Rina who was estranged from her parents, went back to California. Steve follows her and asks her to work on , finding Gail. It goes on from there...if you have read any of the others you will need to read this one too!
Trouble hits the Montgomery clan. It is New Year’s Eve and twins Gail and Abby seem to be arguing. Mom Claire knows something is wrong when she drops the twins off at college. Almost immediately Gail turns up missing. Claire and twin Abby are devastated. Claire’s husband Russell is nonchalant about the news. The Montgomery clan band together to support Claire. Meanwhile Rina, a friend of Steve’s is going through her own personal problems in California
What is the problem with Russell? How can Claire find her daughter and get her home?
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
Vineyard Winds involves two disappearances and a betrayal. This book's intricate plot and well-drawn characters create a perfect mystery novel. Claire and Russel's twin daughters, Gail and Abby are involved in a rift. Widower Steve has become involved with Rina, a private investigator based in California. I don't want to divulge anything, but I simply LOVED this book. It's one of Katie Winters' best stories, and I highly recommend it.
Vineyard Winds is book 18 in the Vineyard Sunset series by Katie Winter and what a well written read! 4.5 stars
Rina and Steve are still navigating their relationship when his niece goes missing and this brings up Rina’s past…mystery, betrayal, twists, turns, friendship and more…can’t wait for the next book!
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Once again there are editing issues. Page 125 "He'd wanted to wait to take Ellen with him. They'd only spoken on the phone once. When Zach had pressed Wally for details, asking where Penny had been all these years and why she left in the first place, Wally had laughed.....".
Just can’t get enough of this series what an amazing writer Katie is couldn’t put the book down loved that Rena and Steve eventually were honest with each other and the drama with Claire’s daughter Gail kept me reading and enthralled so can’t wait for the next book absolutely amazing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story of two girls leaving their families and how they were found was great. With Gail knowing what her father was doing behind her mother's back was so sad. The family all stuck together. Look forward to the next book.
By far my favorite book of the series. Katie’s style of blending families and friends … in a way that I am right in the story is my favorite. Rina opening herself up to Steve & vice versa and Claire, a mom, sister and wife — my new best friend. I pray there is a number 19
Wow ! What a roller coaster ride ! A nightmare for a mother, along with a wife's nightmare ... the trouble though, the mother and wife are the same person. So much heart ache for the Montgomery- Sheridan families.
I love this story, but there aren’t many times when I’m reading these books that character names are spelled incorrectly. Rina was referred to as Rita. In this book, Steve was called Zach once. The story and character development was really good.
This book was great. Very engaging. It sucked me right into the lives of those on Martha’s Vineyard. The similarities in the stories were uncanny. Can’t wait for the next one. ❤️
Ohmigod—What a crazy good read! How in the world does Katie Winter keep churning out such amazing books?? Vineyard Winds is absolutely insanely good! The storyline is freaking awesome; the characters have unbelievable depth and detail which makes the story so compelling; the plot nuances are so interesting that you can’t turn the pages fast enough; and the end of this story sets up the next book so perfectly. This one belongs on everyone’s TBR! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally mesmerized by it!) ❤️❤️
Whoa this was intense! Claire and Russell have been together forever.their girls Gail and Abby are off at school. But there is something going on with Russell and Claire isn’t sure what it is. Gail figures it out and then disappears. The book is about finding Gail but also so much more. Rina finds out about her past and Steve is able to move forward. It’s a great story!
