THE BABY MAKER?

Rugged cowboy Jake Spencer liked how babies were made but wasn't about to make one himself! Then he heard that the sexiest single gal in New Hope, Texas, was planning to visit the sperm bank. Suddenly, convincing Priscilla to do her daddy-donor hunting the old-fashioned way seemed infinitely appealing.

Priscilla Barrington would do anything to have a baby. So when a devastatingly attractive bachelor like Jake Spencer tried talking her out of Plan A, she decided to make him her Plan B. This latest baby endeavour involved candlelight, sating sheets and seducing a certain marriage-shy cowboy into leaving his boots by her bedroom door permanently!

DADDY KNOWS LAST: Five connected novels about love, marriage and Daddy's unexpected need for a baby carriage!

The heroine was so funny and different, even though she didn't want to be. She was a hoot, 29 yet so helpless in many ways. She grew up lonely yet rich and never found a way to connect with people.
The hero's poor upbringing and disastrous marriage left its lessons, no love but that doesn't mean he didn't want to take the heroine to bed, but what he didn't count on was that she would complicate his life, burn his clothes, take over his house and get under his skin. The heroine could be so clueless yet endearing, I really enjoyed how she totally ensnared him without even willingly doing it.

It's nothing like the blurb, I dunno why they mislead readers.

It was funny, I mean very very funny. Hero is a eavesdropping-commitment phobe-Rake. Heroine is Rich-insecure-babbling-sexy-Virgin.

Aww yes, I fell in love with both of them, that explains why I gave a story-less story 4 stars. Writing was adorb, and I am having lot of fun reading this series.

The plot is terribly contrived, but I adored both the hero and heroine. Somewhat opposite sides of the track, but they were so perfect for each other.

Protagonistas: Jake Spencer y Priscilla Barrington
Argumento:

Mild and fun read.
Reading, it felt the accents would come and go.
I wouldn’t want more than passing acquaintance with either character in real life - more than the 180 pages and I would probably start getting annoyed with them.

I did like some of the side characters, like Petemoss.
