Son of a Gun is where the 2nd generation Marked Men meets The Pointe. I was a little surprised because the Pointe is a darker series, but it worked. I haven't read much of The Pointe, but it wasn't an issue; however, I don't think I got all the cameos and references. This is certainly an "opposites attract" story because Daire and Campbell are about as different as two people can be. Daire has had a privileged life for sure. Honestly, sometimes she does things that are just dumb and immature. But, she loves her family and is just trying to figure out who she is.
