I was born in Haiti and came to the United States at the age of seven. It was challenging for me to adjust to a new country and to a new family. After a few years, I began to adapt to this country and began to explore and admire what it had to offer me.

At the age of thirty years young, I was forced to face the biggest obstacle of my life. I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. While undergoing chemotherapy, I went back to college and received my master’s degree in children’s literacy. It is now six years later and I am in full remission.

I currently reside in Edison, New Jersey. I am a preschool special education teacher, and I love and take great pride in my career. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the smiles on my student’s faces as they overcome the challenges they face on a daily basis.

I consider myself to be very successful, along with being extremely proud of where I came from. I continue to remain humble and feel blessed with the people I surround myself with: God, my family, and great friends. In my spare time I love to work on my many arts and crafts projects, such as stained glass, card designing, writing children’s books, and jewelry design. One of these days, I hope that I complete the bucket list I made at the age of twenty-one.

I have to love it! MY NAME IS RAYNE!!!! However as I was reading it to the children I did struggle for a moral or some solid conclusion. It didn't seem to have an ending that fit the story itself. So much was said through out the book that could have really brought a lesson in humility and or faith ect... If you buy thins book you really will enjoy the story and the pictures are GREAT! I suggest that as a parent you might discuss an ending with your kids based upon what you'd like to teach them. This could be a great tool for teaching moral and ethical standards. It could also prove great fun to create a different ending with your children every time! #Love2U - yakman B. #TNM
