I have enjoy all the SiFi I have previously read from this writer but for some reason this book just didn't click with me. Norwood uses alot of Mayan mythology in the story and while I usually like mythological themes in books this one didn't seem to flow well. The writing seemed disjointed and random. Not recommended

A light and fun read. A new mythology (to me) at a time when one more book about unicorns, elves, dragons, or zombies was going to make my head explode.

This is a fun story. The protagonist's oft-repeated slogan "How foolish of me to think otherwise" in the face of many a truthful absurdity has stuck to my ribs for years!
